In this article, we review studies which investigated the language process of bilinguals by examining how switch costs were incurred in the language switch processes, particularly in language production. We included not only the studies of unbalanced bilinguals and balanced bilinguals, but also voluntary language switching studies. In language production studies, larger costs are observed when switching from a non-dominant language to a dominant language than vice versa in cued language switching studies. However, symmetry language switch costs were observed in the studies of balanced bilinguals and voluntary language switching studies. This paper also deals with theories about the language switch costs: the language inhibition account vs. the response selection account. We tried to apply the results of the studies we reviewed to these theories and to figure out the limitations of these theories.

본 연구는 자평명리학의 시조인 서자평의 관격론이 서대승에게 어떻게 계승되고 변천되었는지를 고찰함으로써 초기 관격론의 원형에 대한 논의를 확장하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 정관격은 일간과 정관이 함께 왕성함을 중시했다. 또한, 형충파해 등으로 파괴되거나 상관을 보는 것을 꺼리고, 합을 이루는 지지를 반기며, 財와 印을 함께 참조하여 보았다. 편관격은 일간과 편관의 왕성함과 편관을 전환하여 쓸 것을 강조했다. 편관을 전용하는 방법인 制, 合, 化에 대해 유추할 수 있는 내용이 있었다. 또한, 정관과 편관이 섞여서 관살혼잡이 되면 하나만 남겨야 한다. 잡기재관격은 월지가 辰戌丑未일 때 지장간에서 官이 투간 되면 격으로 삼는다. 『자평삼명통변연원』의 관격론은 대부분 『명통부』의 내용과 연결되어 있으며 서대승이 십성의 정의와 격의 정의를 최초로 내렸다. 정관격은 성립조건과 특성을 대부분 그대로 계승하였고, 편관격은 전용하지 못한 편관의 흉함에 더욱 집중하였으며 편관을 가난과 연관 지어 언급하였다. 그리고 서자평은 지장간의 존재와 투간을 암시함에 그쳤으나 서대승은 투간을 보는 잡기재관격을 정식으로 채택하였다. 이것은 격국론을 확대, 발전시킨 부분이다. This study examines how Seo Ja-pyeong's Gwangyeok theory(官格論) was inherited and changed to Seo Da-seung. Jeonggwangyeok(正官格) emphasized the strength of Ilgan(日干) and Jeonggwan(正官) together. In addition, not to be destroyed by Hyeongchungpahae(刑沖破害), not to see Sanggwan(傷官). Pyeongwangyeok(偏官格) emphasized the strength of Ilgan(日干) and Pyeongwan(偏官) together and It emphasized the use of changing Pyeongwan(偏官). If Jeonggwan(正官) and Pyeongwan(偏官) are together, It should leave only one. Japgijaegwangyeok(雜氣財官格) is when Wolji(月支) is Japgi(雜氣), If Gwan(官) from Jijanggan(支藏干) becomes Tugan(透干), think Gyeok(格). Seo Dae-seung inherited most of the conditions and characteristics of Jeonggwangyeok(正官格) and characteristics of the establishment and Pyeongwangyeok(偏官格) focused more on the ominousness of Pyeongwan(偏官), which could not be corrected and replaced, and spoke of Pyeongwan(偏官) in relation to poverty. Seo Ja-pyeong only hinted at the existence of Jijanggan(支藏干) and Tugan(透干) but Seo Dae-seung formally adopted Japgijaegwangyeok(雜氣財官格) considering Tugan(透干).
