HMD 전면카메라를 활용한 VR 사용자 외부 안전지원 시스템

When wearing a VR HMD, the user external view is blocked, so the user relies on a preset safety range for safety. In addition, the user safety system provided by the HMD manufacturer is executed when it is outside the safety range. However, user protection is insufficient for dangerous situations caused by moving objects within the designated safety range. This paper detects learned person data of COCO data set using YOLOv4 algorithm on real-time images input through front camera of Vive Pro Eye device to reduce the risk of moving objects within a safety range specified by HMD users. The person data detected in real-time provides an image as a pop-up window on the user screen. Through this, a method of reducing the risk of accidents by identifying and preparing for risks caused by moving objects is suggested.

Consumers interest in traditional liquor continues to increase as consumption trends and drinking culture change to a trend that values personal tastes and products, and online sales of traditional liquor are allowed. However, according to a 2021 report by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, the share of traditional liquor in the entire liquor market is very low, with less than 1%. Therefore, in this paper, we propose contents that promotes local traditional liquor and breweries by utilizing highly immersive augmented reality technology. It uses Unity engine and Vuforias image tracking technology and is produced in the form of experiential content and applications in an offline exhibition environment. The results of the survey conducted after the experience confirmed that interest and awareness in the traditional liquor sector have increased, indicating that the content has contributed to promoting local traditional liquor and breweries.

This paper presents a new comparison method of haze-removal algorithms for the next generation automotive. Compared to the previous PSNR-based comparison, which measures the similarity, the proposed MTF-based method checks the sharpness for selecting more suitable haze-removal algorithm for the following lane detection problem. Among the practical filtering schemes used for haze-removal algorithm, experimental results show that Gaussian filtering effectively preserves the sharpness of road images, enhancing the lane detection accuracy.
