민주적 양육방식이 취업모 아동의 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 민주적인 양육방식이 취업모 아동의 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향과 이관계에서 공동체 의식의 매개효과 검증을 연구목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 ‘한국청소년정책연구원’의 ‘한국 아동·청소년패널조사 2010(KCYPS)’의 자료 초등학교 4학년 아동 2,119명 중 취업모의 1,224명의 자료를 사용하여 2016년 7월에 분석하였다. 본 연구를 위한 방법으로는 SPSS WIN 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 인구사회학적 특성을 분석하였으며, 기술분석과 상관분석으로 주요 변수들의 특성을 파악하였다. 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하여 독립변수가 매개변수를 통해 종속변수에 미치는 영향과 Sobel test를 통해 연구모형 및 공동체의식의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 민주적 양육방식과 공동체의식은 학교생활 적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공동체의식은 부모의 민주적 양육방식과 학교생활적응의 관계를 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 취업모들의 민주적 양육방식 및 초등학교 아동들의 공동체의식을 증진시키고, 아동들의 학교생활적응력을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램의 개발과 실행을 위한 기초자료로 활용이 가능할 것이다. The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of working mothers democratic child rearing practice on their children s adjustment to school life and test the mediating effects of community spirit on relations between them. For those purposes, the study analyzed the data of 1,224 children of working mothers among 2,119 fourth graders in Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) 2010 by the National Youth Policy Institute in July, 2016. As for methodologies, the study analyzed the sociodemographic characteristics of children with the SPSS WIN 18.0 program, examined the characteristics of major variables through descriptive and correlation analysis, and tested the effects of independent variables on dependent ones via parameters through hierarchical regression analysis and the research model and mediating effects of community spirit through the Sobel test. The findings were as follows: first, the democratic child rearing practice and community spirit of parents turned out to have significant effects on the adjustment to school life of their children. Secondly, community spirit had partial mediating effects on relations between the democratic child rearing practice of parents and the adjustment to school life of their children. Those findings are expected to serve as basic data to develop and implement a program designed to promote the democratic child rearing practice of working mothers, increase the community spirit of their children, and enhance their adjustment to school life.

베이비붐 세대의 사회적 관계망이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향

베이비붐 세대는 향후 우리나라 노인인구의 삶의 동향으로 정년, 은퇴, 역할상실이라는 큰 변화를 통해서 생활만족도가 낮아질 것이 예상되며, 그들의 사회적 관계망과 자아존중감도 저하될 것이 예측된다. 현재 정부에서는 베이비붐 세대의 사회문제를 예견하고 정책적 대안을 마련하고 있으나, 기독교계에서는 베이비붐 세대에 대한 연구가 매우 부족한 현실을 감안할 때 기독교인 중 베이비붐 세대에게 관심을 가지는 것은 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 베이비붐 세대의 사회적 관계망이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향력과 자아존중감의 매개효과 유무와 정도를 파악하여 생활만족도의 향상을 위한 제언을 목적으로 한다. 조사대상은 서울시, 부산시, 대전시, 울산시, 경기도, 경상남도에 거주하는 베이비붐 세대 기독교인 324명을 설문하였다. 분석과정은 SPSS WIN 20.0프로그램을 사용하여 먼저는 설문 응답자의 인구사회학적 특성을 분석하였다. 둘째로 주요변수인 사회적 관계망, 자아존중감, 생활만족도에 관한 기술통계량 및 상관관계 분석을 하였다. 셋째로 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하여 최종적으로 독립변수가 매개변수를 통해 종속변수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면, 베이비붐 세대의 사회적 관계망은 생활만족도에 직접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 관계망의 경우 자아존중감의 개입이 베이비붐 세대의 생활만족도를 높이는 데 의미있는 역할을 하고있다. 이로써 본 연구에서는 사회적 관계망이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하여 기독교인 중 베이비붐 세대에게 사회활동 기회 확대 및 자아존중감을 높이기 위한 정책과 프로그램 개발에 활용될 기초자료를 제공함으로 생활만족도 향상에 기여할 수 있는 연구가 되고자 한다. The life satisfaction of the baby boomer generation will decrease as more people experience early retirement due to job loss among Korea elder’s population. Not only that, it is expected that their social network and self-esteem will also suffer a loss. Many churches lack research about the life-satisfaction of baby boomers. In conclusion, Christian society should be concerned about the Christian baby boomer due to ignorance of the reality elders are facing. This research aims to make suggestions for how to improve life-satisfaction among the baby boomer’s generation with a focus on mediated effects of social networks and selfesteem. The researcher’s studied 324 baby boomers living in the cities of Seoul, Busan, and Ulsan, as well as Gyeonggi-do Province and Gyeongsangnam-do Province. This study, first analyzed the characteristics based on the sociology of these populations using SPSS WIN 20.0. Second, it analyzed technological statistics regarding emotional support systems, a sense of self-regard and the burden of supporting one’s family, which are all major parameters that correlate. Third, this study finally analyzed how independent variables affect subordinate variables, by analyzing hierarchical regression statistics. In summary, the results showed the social networks are directly related to a senior citizens life-satisfaction. Moreover, the Baby Boomers’ self-esteem directly correlates with their life-satisfaction within social networks. Therefore, this study will be a baseline study to develop polices and programs for boosting self-esteem through churches offering social activities for the baby boomer generation. This study will analyze how to influence the life-satisfaction through social networks.
