        콘베어 고무벨트의 난연성 및 내열성에 관한 연구

        A series of conveyer rubber belts has been made by blending natural rubber (NR), styrene butadiene rubber(SBR), chloroprene rubber(GR) and additives on nylon cords, and their respective flammability has been investigated. It has been observed that: 1. By adding an antiflame agent to the belt, in addition to 70% chlorinated paraffine and antimony oxide(Sb₂O₃), the inflammability is improved remarkably to O - 2 seconds due to the synergistic effect, while a sample without antiflame B fails to pass the KS M 66713 test. 2. Physical properties, such as tensile strength, elongation at break and adhesion strength, of the sample belts have been studies by varying ratios of NR/CR from 20 to 100, and it has been observed that the higher ratios have the better physical properties.

      • Barium-Ferrite 組織構造에 關한 硏究

        The optimum conditions of preparing barium ferrite from barium carbonate and iron (Ⅲ) oxide are sought for with electron microscope. The result shows that largest quantity of hexagonal barium ferrite phase was found at the mole ratio 1 to 3 of BaCO₃and Fe₂O₃ and its best condition could be got with the secondary sintering temperature at 1,200℃ and for two hours.

      • 적하수은전극에서 산성용액 중의 Nitrate와 Nitrite의 환원반응

        This work was undertaken to investigate the Polarographic reduction of nitrate and nitrite in the presence of Uranyl ion. The Polarogram of Uranyl acetate, containing 0.05mol/l Hydrochloric acid and 0.1mol/l Potassium chloride, have been studied with and without variation of nitrate and nitrite ion concentrations and the following have been observed. The half wave potential of Uranyl ion wave is 0.89 volts(vs. S.C.E.). Addition of nitrate shifts the half wave potential slightly to more negative values. This effect has been attributed to the formation of loose ion pairs, presumably this is result from the high overvoltage. Addition of nitrite shifts the half wave potential slightly to more positives values, this effect has been attributed to the formation of loose ion pairs which, because of their positive charge, facilitate the access of nitrite to the negative electrode. The second polarographic reduction of a nitrate-uranyl ion system corresponds to a reduction of NO-3 to N2. No nitrate nor nitrite solution gives polarographic wave with the KCl supporting electrolyte solution. It has been observed that the first wave of the Uranyl acetate solution is not effected by the presence of nitrate ion, whereas current of the first wave at the electrode potential -0.72 volts (vs. S.C.E.) is proportional to the nitrite concentration and gives diffusion current of the first wave as id1 (NO2-) =7.5+1.32[NO2-]. Both nitrate and nitrite ions affect the second wave of the Uranyl solutions at the electrode potential -1.2 volts (vs. S.C.E.) and it is observed that the effects of nitrate and nitrite concentrations on the second wave current are given to be idII(NO2-)=15+6.18(NO2-), and idII(NO3-)=15+20.72(NO3-), respectively: With these results, method of quantitative analysis of nitrate and nitrite concentrations by use of Polarograms of millimole concentration of Uranylacetate solution has been presented.

      • Barium Ferrite의 磁氣性質에 관한 硏究

        The mixture with varying the mole ratio of barrium carbonate and iron(III) oxide has been studied on the magnetic propeeties by sintering temperature and time. The shrinkage of the mixture appeared to be maximal at 1200℃ and was increased about 1% between one and two hour(s) of the sintering time. Hovever, after two hours of the time, there was no increment of the shrinkage. The coercive force and residual magnetism were increased according to the increasing quantity of iron(III) oxide, maximal at two hour-heating time and ddecreased with the increment of the sintering time.

      • 우라닐의 폴라로그래피 촉매파를 이용한 질산염의 정량

        적하수은전극에서 여러가지 농도의 염산과 질산이온 존재하에 초산우라닐용액의 환원에 의한 폴라로그램을 측정하였다. 염화칼륨 지지용액 중에서 초산우라닐의 전기화학적 환원에 대한 안정한 염산농도는 0.02M∼0.3M범위이다. 염산용액과 염화칼륨 지지용액 중에서 질산염용액은 우라닐이온 또는 수소이온이 환원되는 전위까지의 음전위에서도 아무런 폴라로그래프파가 나타나지 않는다. 0.05M HCl용액, 0.1M KCl지지용액중에서 질산염이 공존하는 초산우라닐용액은 -1.2 Volt(vs. S.C.E.)의 전극전위에서 질산염의 농도와 제 2파의 전류사이에는 좋은 상관관계를 이룬다. ??=15+?? 이러한 상관성을 이용하여 미량의 초산우라닐(millimole order concentration)이 존재하는 용액의 폴라로그램을 사용함으로써 극미량의 질산염 농도를 구할 수 있다. 질산염이 공존하는 초산우라닐용액의 제1파는 질산염 존재에 의해 아무런 영향도 받지 않는다. 초산우라닐-질산이온 용액계의 환원파인 제1파는 가역과정이고, 제2파는 가역과정에서 약간 벗어난다. Polarogram of uranylacetate solution, containing Hydrochloric acid and 0.1 M KCl as a supporting electrolyte, have been studied with and without variation of nitrate ion concentrations. No nitrate solution gives polarographic wave with the 0.05M Hydrochloric acid and 0.1M potassium chloride supporting electrolyte solution. It has been observed that the first wave of the uranylacetate solution is not affected by the presence of nitrate ion. Nitrate ion affect the second wave of the uranyl solutions at the electrode potential -1.2 Volt vs. S.C.E. and it is observed that the effects of nitrate concentration on the second wave current are given to be ??=15+?? With these results, method of quantitative analysis of nitrate concentrations by use of polarograms of millimole concentration of uranylacetate solution has been presented.

      • 폴라로그래피를 이용한 질산염-아질산염의 동시 정량

        0.05mol/1염산용액과 0.1mol/1염화칼륨 지지전해질 용액 중에서 우라닐이온 존재하에 질산염-아질산염 혼합용액의 플라로그램을 측정하였다. 질산염-아질산염 혼합용액의 제1파의 전류는 -0.72volt (vs.S.C.E)의 전극전위에서 아질산염의 농도에 비례하고 이것은 다음과 같이 나타낼 수 있다. id₁(??)=1.32[??]. 제2파의 전류는 -1.2volt (vs.S.C.E)의 전극전위에서 질산염과 아질산염의 각 농도에 비례하고 이것은 다음과 같이 나타낼 수 있다. id₂(??)=6.18[??]. id₂(??)=20.72[??]. 이러한 결과로부터 질산염-아질산염의 혼합용액의 폴라로그램을 이용하여 mM범위의 두염의 농도를 동시 정량할 수 있다. 오차는 5% 정도이다. Polarogram of nitrate-nitrite mixed solution in the presence of Uranyl ion, containing 0.05M HCl and 0.1 KCl as a supporting electrolyte, have been studied. Current of the first wave of nitrate-nitrite mixed solution at the electrode potential -0.72 volt vs. S.C.E. is proportional to the nitrite concentration and gives current of the first wave as id₁(??)=1.32[??]. Current of the second wave of nitrate-nitrite mixed solution at the electrode potential -1.2volt vs. S.C.E. are proportional to the nitrate and nitrate concentration and gives current of the second wave as id₂(??)=20.72[??], and id₂(??)=6.18[??], respectively. With these results, method of simultaneous quantitative analysis of nitrate and nitrite concentrations by use of polarograms of millimole concentration of nitrate-nitrite mixed solution has been presented. The accuracy of this method for determination of mM order concentration of nitrate and nitrite mixed solution is found to be Ca. 5 percent at the worst.

        Barium-Ferrite 조직구조(組織構造)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (제2보(第二報))

        The Optimum Conditions of Preparing barium Ferrite from $BaCO_3$ and $Fe_2O_3$ are Sought for with electron microscope. At first to find the optimum sintering temperature, the mixture in 1 : 3 mole ratio. Sintered primarily at $700^{\circ}C$ for an hour, is Sintered secondary at $960^{\circ}C{\pm}10,\;1040^{\circ}C{\pm}10,\;1120^{\circ}C{\pm}10,\;1200^{\circ}C{\pm}10,\;1250^{\circ}C{\pm}10,\;1330^{\circ}C{\pm}10$, respectively for an hour. at the optimum temperature,abtained in this way. Sintering time is varied from 10 minutes to 120 minutes with 10 minutes intervals. Through the experiment, It is found that the optimum temperature of $1200{\sim}1250^{\circ}C$ and optimum time of half-one hour.

      • 국산 회중석을 이용한 타이어용 Ice-Spike 제조에 대한 연구

        Tungsten carbides are produced by carburization of tungsten powder and the reduction of ammonium para-tungstate obtained from Korean scheelite. The ice-spike for the automobile tire are made from tungsten carbide mi ed with cobalt powder into various amounts through the process of the double sintering, and the product composed of tungsten carbide 95.5% and cobalt 4.5% is superior to all others. The various physical properties and fabricating conditions far the production of cemented carbide are also discussed. This paper is the starting point of the development leading to wide introduction of the products permitting to ice-spice, cutting tools, etc. by using of Korean scheelite.
