        The purpose of this study was to consider the swimming class for the deaf students from the paints of water safety and survival swimming. The subjects in this study were 140 college students aged 18 to 22. They were all hearing impaired. The degrees of concern about water safety and self-judgement of their swimming performance were investigated. The results were as follows : 1) Over 70% of the subjects were confident of their swimming performance. 2) The order of stroke acquisition were crawl (90.8%), breast (79.4%), back (32.7%) and butterfly (24.1%). This suggested that crawl is considered the most important stroke and instructed at first in Japan. 3) Nobody had experience of learning water safety, and almost every students had poor information about it. The students with hearing impairment could not have adequate image for the swimming with clothes. And they could not have proper information on the case of emergency. It is concluded that extending their knowledge of the water safety and improving theft swimming skills are necessary for prevention of water accidents and self-protection.

      • 뇌성 마비아의 등장성 운동 프로그램이 등속성 근력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of isotonic exercise program on isokinetic muscle strength in the individuals with cerebral palsy. The subjects consisted 4 children, who was aged 9~11 years were checked by a isokinetic muscle strength test, in measurement index, knee extension and flexion test were measured of peak torque, and ankle plantar extension and flexion test were measured of peak torque in the treatment before and after. We enrolled 4 children into the participated 12 week isotonic exercise program. Results of this study were as follows; In the knee extension 30 deg/sec were showed no significant difference, but 60deg/sec and 90deg/sec were showed significant difference treatment after than treatment before. In the knee flexion, 30deg/sec and 60deg/sec were showed significant difference treatment after than treatment baron, but 90deg/sec were showed no significant difference. It was increased all joint angles ankle plantar flexor. The data suggest that the isotonic exercise program is an effective to improve muscle response in the individuals with cerebral palsy. Conclusionlly, the exercise rehabilitation therapy is very effective in the improvement of isokinetic muscle strength and exercise function.

        척추손상 장애인들의 복합 재활 운동 프로그램이 동맥경화 지수 및 스트레스 호르몬에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the complex rehabilitation exercise program on atherogenic indices and stress hormone in the disabled people with spinal cord injury men. The relation of complex rehabilitation exercise training and increase physical function was determined using an 12week complex rehabilitation exercise intervention study involving 30 untrained subjects with disabled people with spinal cord injury men. Subjects were divided into two groups : control group(n=15), experiment group(n=15). In measurement index, atherogenic indices analysis were measured of TC/HDL-C, TG/HDL-C, and LDL-C/HDL-C. Stress hormone were measured of epinephrine, norepinephrine, and cortisol. Statistical analysis was performed using analysis of repeated ANOVA. Results of this study were as follows; In the atherogenic indices, experiment group were significantly decreased by the 12week complex rehabilitation program in the TC/HDL-C and TG/HDL-C, but control group were no significantly difference. In the stress hormone, experiment group were significantly decreased by the 12week complex rehabilitation program in the cortisol, but control group were no significantly difference. Therefore, this study supports the conclusion that continuous upper arm, aquatic complex rehabilitation exercise training participation is the one of most effective methods to maintain daily manual rehabilitation training propulsion avoiding the risk of lipids metabolism and solution of stress restrict.

        뇌성마비인의 척추운동 재활요법이 척추자세 및 운동기능에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of vertebra rehabilitation exercise therapy on the improvement of vertebra posture and motion function in the individuals with Cerebral Palsy. The participants were totally sixteen individuals with Cerebral Palsy in their twenties or thirties who were diagnosed as the first-grade spastic type cerebral palsy in the Korean Society for the Cerebral Palsied, but participated in no regular exercise program. The participants of this study were classified into control group, vertebra position therapy group, exercise rehabilitation group, and group with both vertebral position therapy and exercise rehabilitation. The results of vertebra position, motion function, EMG and X-ray are as follows; Pelvis torsion in each group made little difference. Viewed in the pelvic tilt, the length in each group made no attentive difference, but the reduction of pelvic angle was significantly demonstrated in exercise rehabilitation group and group with vertebra position therapy plus exercise rehabilitation. In view of trunk imbalance, the more reduction of length was showed in vertebra position therapy group, exercise rehabilitation group and group with vertebra position therapy plus exercise rehabilitation than control group, and the more reduction of length in vertebra position group and vertebra position therapy plus exercise rehabilitation than only exercise rehabilitation group. Furthermore, the angle also revealed the more reduction in vertebra position therapy, exercise rehabilitation therapy, and vertebra position plus exercise rehabilitation therapy rather than control group, additionally, the more reduction in vertebra position therapy group and group with vertebra position therapy plus exercise rehabilitation than only exercise rehabilitation group. No significant difference between mean and maximum lateral deviation was demonstrated. The muscular endurance in group with vertebra position therapy plus exercise rehabilitation was significantly elevated than other groups, flexibility of each group except control was attentively elevated. Agility in vertebra position group and group with vertebra position plus exercise rehabilitation group Balance of each group was indicated in no great difference. Without gravity, both left and right sides EMG were meaningfully reduced only in the group with vertebra position therapy plus exercise rehabilitation. However, there made no meaningful difference in two kilogram in the improvement of vertebra position and function motion. Additionally, vertebral, pelvic correction with manual reduction will be able to improve balancing and flexibility.

        Alkaline-Ion 음료 투여가 전해질 농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to indestigate the influence of the supplementation of the Alkaline-ion drink on the electrolyte concentration. The subjects of this study were selected through multistage cluster random sampling between physically healthy male students in Y University. The number of total subjects was 10. We devided 10 subjects into two groups, which were Alkaline-Ion drink supplmentation group and non supplementation group. nese two groups were investigated on serum electrolyte concentration, Vo² max, and anaerobic threshold The results derived from this study were as follows; 1) The change of K' showed a significant difference between each group in Alkaline-Ion drink supplementation and non- supplementation group. However, there was no significant difference between groups right after exercise and it showed a significant difference between two groups in recovery. 2) The change of C^(++) showed a significant difference between each group in Alkaline-Ion drink supplementation and non- supplementation group. However, there was no significant difference between groups right after exercise and no significant difference was shown in recovery between two groups. 3) The change of Na showed a significant difference between each group in Alkaline-Ion drink supplementation and non- supplementation group. It also showed a significant difference between groups right after exercise but it did not show a significant difference between two groups in recovery. 4) The change of Vo2max showed a significant different between each group in Alkaline-Ion drink supplementation and non- supplementation group. 5) Anaerobic threshold in Alkaline-Ion drink supplementation and non-supplementation group did not show a significant difference between groups. Therefore, this study concluded that it is more effective to intake Alkaline-Ion drink right after exercise rather than before exercise.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of soccer activity on body composition and cardiovascular function in the individuals with Cerebral Palsy. The subjects consisted B cerebral palsy men, who was aged 20~30years were checked by a blood test, body composition and exercise stress testing. In measurement index, body composition analysis were measured of percent body fat, body fluid and body mass index(BMI). Blood test were measured of serum lipids(T-C, HDL-C, LDL-C, TG, Al). And exercise stress testing were measured heart rate(HR), systolic blood pressure(SBP), MVO₂, VO₂ and exercise time. We enrolled 8 into the participated 24week soccer activity program Statistical analysis was performed using analysis of paired t-test. Results of this study were as follows; In the body composition, %body fat were showed significantly effects of soccer activity program participation. And, in the cardiovascular function, HR, SBP, MVO₂, ST segment, VO₂, were showed significantly effects of soccer activity program participation These data suggest that the soccer activity program is an effective to improve body composition and CVD response in the cerebral palsy men.
