MMORPG 사용자 유형 분류를 통한 이탈 예측 모델 생성 및 평가

대규모 다중 사용자 온라인 롤플레잉 게임(MMORPG)은 세계적으로 많은 사용자들이 즐기는 게임의 장르로 사용자들이 즐길 수 있는 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공해준다. 하지만 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공함에도 불구하고 일부 사용자들은 게임에서 이탈한다. 지속적으로 게임을 즐기는 사용자는 게임회사의 수익과 밀접한 관계가 있기 때문에, 사용자 이탈 예측은 매우 중요한 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 게임 사용자 유형을 기반으로 이탈을 예측하는 방법을 제안한다. 실제 MMORPG 데이터를 이용하여 ‘이탈자’를 정의하고, 서로 다른 특징을 보이는 사용자들을 군집화 알고리즘을 통해 5가지 유형으로 나누어 분류하였다. 실험 결과로 약 98.3%의 이탈자가 라이트 사용자형에 속하는 것을 확인하였다. 분류한 유형을 이탈 예측 모델 생성의 피처로 사용하고, 기계학습 알고리즘을 이용하여 이탈 예측 모델을 구축하였다. 이탈 예측 모델은 최대 85.7%의 accuracy와 72.3%의 F-measure의 성능을 보였다. Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG) have been the most enjoyed genre of games by users all over the world, because of the many enjoyable contents they provide. However, there still are some users leaving MMORPG, in spite of the various contents. Because the users, who are constantly engaged in a game, are directly connected to the profit of the game company, it is necessary to study churn prediction. In this study, we propose a churn prediction method based on the user types. Using actual MMORPG data, we define “Churn Users” and categorize users into 5 types by means of the clustering algorithm. The experiment shows that about 98.3% of the churn users are the “Light user type”. We then use user types as a feature and construct a churn prediction model with various machine learning algorithms. The churn prediction model shows a maximum accuracy of 85.7% and an F-measure of 72.3%.

본 논문에서는 켄 윌버의 통합이론의 핵심 개념인 수준Levels, 라인 Lines, 사상한Quadrants, 상태States 개념을 활용해 요가가 의식의 발달에 어떻게 기여할 수 있는지, 그리고 그 한계는 무엇인지를 살펴보고 이를 다섯 가지 주장으로 요약하였다. 첫째, 의식의 상위 수준이 하위 수준을 포함하면서 초월한다는 관점에서 살펴보면 요가는 보다 신체 지향적인 현대요가와 보다 초월 지향적인 전통요가 모두 의식의 보다 상위 수준으로의 발달을 촉진한다. 둘째, 요가는 개인의 신체적, 영적 발달 라인에서의 성장을 촉진하지만 다른 모든 발달 라인에서의 발달을 보장하진 않는다. 셋째, 요가는 개인─내면 차원의 의식 발달과 개인─외면 차원인 몸의 발달을 촉진하지만 집단─내면 차원의 문화나 집단─외면 차원의 사회 시스템적 자각과 성장을 촉진하지 않으며 이런 점에서 절반의 통합적 접근이다. 넷째, 요가는 삼매로 대표되는 언제든지 처음에는 일시적으로, 나중에는 훈련에 의해 안정적으로 접근될 수 있는 의식의 상태─훈련이다. 다섯째, 요가는 의식의 모든 수평적 상태에 대한 접근은 보장하지만 모든 수직적 수준에의 접근은 그러하지 못하다. 이는 전통요가가 근대와 더불어 활성화된 합리적, 다원적, 통합적 세계관, 가치관, 정체성 구조를 온전히 실현하는 가르침을 포함하고 있지 못하기 때문이다. 마지막으로 요가는 분명 우리의 몸과 의식 두 영역에서의 가장 높은 수준으로의 발달을 이끌어내는 훌륭한 상태─훈련이지만 불행히도 전근대에 뿌리를 두고 있기 때문에 그 한계 또한 분명하며 요가를 모든 의식의 문제를 해결하는 만능 도구로 쓰는 것은 지극히 경계해야 한다. This article investigates the relationship of yoga and the development of consciousness based on Ken Wilber’s integral theory and summarizes it into 5 assertions : First, regardless of it’s form, yoga contributes it’s practitioner’s development of consciousness. Because traditional yoga focuses on the development of one’s consciousness from mind to spirit, while modern yoga mainly focuses on the development of one’s consciousness from body to mind. Second, although yoga facilitates growth on the spiritual or bodily development line, it does not guarantee all the other line’s development. Third, yoga facilitates the development of individual-interior consciousness(such as peak experiences) and individual-exterior consciousness(such as bodily health), but not of collective-interior consciousness(such as culture) and collective-exterior consciousness(such as social system). Fourth, yoga is kind of state-training which can be stabilized through repetitive practice with reliable teacher. Fifth, yoga does not guarantee the access into the consciousness of modernity and postmodernity level, because of it’s root of pre-modernity tradition. To sum up, yoga is a effective and valuable tool to develop one’s consciousness level and state into higher level and state. But considering it’s limitations, it cannot be the all-in-one tool for our development of consciousness.

HIPPS(High Integrity Pressure Protection System) is installed in front of major equipment of plant system including offshore plant such as separator to prevent failure and accident caused by abnormal pressure. This is a pressure control safety system that replaced ESDV(Emergency Shutdown Valve) and EVV(Emergency Venting Valve) and guarantees high stability. If abnormal pressure is detected on the sensors installed in front of the major equipment, the system should close the valve within the minimum required time. In this study, the operation of driving part for HIPPS is visualized by simulating to improve understanding for the behavior of HIPPS when abnormal pressure is detected.
