송전선로에 절연물로 사용되는 애자는 설치 이후 장시간 사용에 따라 고전압 스트레스, 기계적 스트레스, 열 및 환경 스트레스 등으로 열화가 진행되기 때문에 안정적인 전력설비 운영을 위하여 활선 애자의 비파괴 열화 상태 점검이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 비파괴 상태 진단 감시 기술인 주파수 응답 함수 측정을 통한 고유 진동수 분석을 통하여 현재 활선 애자로 사용되고 있는 NGK210, KRI210, NGK300 및 KRI300 4가지 종류 애자의 동특성 실험을 수행하였으며, 이를 통하여 애자의 결함이 발생하였을 때 고유진동수 변화를 분석하였다.

Even though efficiency of coal-fired power plant is proportional to operating temperature, increasement of operating temperature is limited by a technological level of each power plant component. It is an alternative plan to increase operating pressure up to ultra super critical point for efficiency enhancement. It is difficult to control process of power plant in ultra super critical point because that point has highly nonlinear characteristics. In this paper, new control logic, Unit Response Optimizer Controller (URO Controller) which is based on Fuzzy logic and Model Predictive Controller, is introduced for better performance. Then its performance is tested and analyzed with design guideline.

Power generation of wind turbine which is installed in wind farm should be measured to predict economic feasibility of wind farm. Also electric power company want to verify wind turbine performance which is stated by manufacturer. The International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC) published 61400-12-1 Power performance measurements of electricity producing wind turbines for test of wind turbine power performance. In this paper, measurable sector of wind speed is analysed based on IEC 61400-12-1 to verify power curve of wind turbine with various wind turbine in wind farm.

As wind power has increased steadily, the importance of a condition monitoring system is being emphasized to maximize the availability and reliability of a wind turbine. To develop the advanced algorithms for fault detection and lifespan estimation, a wind turbine simulator is essential for verification of the proposed algorithms before applying them to a condition diagnosis & integrity prognosis system. The developed new-type simulator in this paper includes blades and various sensors as well as a motor, a gearbox and a generator of which the existing simulators generally consist. It also has similarity with a 3MW class wind turbine and can be used to acquire operational data from various operation conditions. This paper presents a design method of control logic for the wind turbine simulator, which gives a wind generation method and similar dynamic characteristics with the 3MW wind turbine. Finally, the proposed control logic is verified through experiments.
해상부이 데이터 분석을 통한 한반도 해역의 바람자원 평가

In recent years, many countries have been endeavoring to exploit the offshore wind energy in terms of overcoming the limitations of on-land wind energy. Considering that mountains cover 70 percent of the Korean Peninsula and arable plains for wind energy are negligibly small, Korean government aggressively drives the offshore wind development of the Korean Peninsula. As part of preliminary investigation of offshore wind resources, KEPCO-RI (Korea Electric Power Corporation-Research Institute) has been analyzing marine buoy datasets measured at 5 positions over the period of 12 years, including estimation of extreme wind speed. It can be observed that variation of yearly wind speed, monthly wind speed as well as frequency distribution of wind direction. Wind classes of buoy sites are estimated by extrapolated average wind speed using log law. In addition, wind turbine class based on IEC code is assessed for evaluation of suitable wind turbine.

The performance test of a wind turbine in a wind farm is generally carried out by the owner to verify the power curve of the wind turbine given by the turbine manufacturer. The international electro-technical commission provides the IEC 61400-12-1 standard on Power performance measurements of electricity producing wind turbines. By using this code, one can easily find the suitable met-mast (meteorological mast) location for the wind data whether a wind farm is potential or already built. In this paper, the valid sectors for wind turbines installed in the HanKyoung wind farm, south-west in Jeju island are analyzed on the basis of the code by considering the wind farm layout. Among these sectors, the optimal met-mast location is presented for the power curve verification of the wind farm.

As environmental vibration requirements on precision equipment become more stringent, use of pneumatic isolators has become more popular and their performance is subsequently required to be further improved. Performance of passive pneumatic isolators is related to various design parameters in a complicated manner and, hence, is very limited especially in low frequency range by chamber volume. In this study, transmissibility behavior of the pneumatic isolators depending on frequency and dynamic amplitude are presented. Then, an active control technique, time delay control, which is adequate for a low frequency nonlinear system, is applied. A procedure of applying the time delay control law to a pneumatic isolator is presented and it's effectiveness in the transmissibility performance is shown. Comparison between passive and active pneumatic isolators is made based on simulation.
