본 연구에서는 유아 스트레스 행동을 감소시키기 위한 노력의 일환으로 실외놀이의 중요성과 그 가치를 입증하기 위하여 유아의 스트레스 행동 경향과 실외놀이 유무와 성별에 따른 스트레스 행동의 하위유형에 대하여 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 Y어린이집에 다니는 남아 19명, 여아 16명, 총 35명을 대상으로, 실외놀이를 실시하거나 실시하지 않은 후의 자유선택놀이시간에 유아 스트레스 행동을 이상연(2006)이 수정 보완한 도구를 사용하여 관찰하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/Window 12.0을 이용하여 분석하였고 t-test를 실시하였다. 연구결과 남아와 여아 모두 실외놀이를 했을 때보다 하지 않았을 때 소극적 스트레스 행동이 많았고, 남아들은 적극적 스트레스 행동도 많아지는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was investigate the preschool children`s stress behavior in terms of their sex and the outdoor play experience in order to identify the importance of outdoor play in early childhood education. A total of 35 preschool children were observed by the observation scale of Lee (2006) during the free play time. The results showed that both boys and girls showed more passive when they did not participate in outdoor play. However, only the boys showed more stress behaviors in indoor play compared to girls.

사립유치원 원장의 유치원 평가지표의 중요성 인식과 이해도 및 개선의지

본 연구는 사립유치원 원장들의 유치원 평가지표에 대한 중요성 인식과 이해도 이에 따른 개선의지 정도를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기 지역에 소재한 사립유치원 원장 119명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 회수한 자료는 SPSS 12.0 프로그램으로 기술통계와, 카이검증, 종속 t검증, 일원변량분석과 추후검증으로 Duncan검증을 사용하였다. 분석 결과 유치원 원장들은 유치원 평가지표의 5개 영역 중에서 교육과정을 가장 중요하다고 인식하였고, 평가지표의 이해도 가장 높았다. 평가지표에 따른 개선의지는 교육환경에서 가장 높게 나타나고 있었다. 원장의 배경변인에서 대졸, 학급규모가 2개 이하인 경우, 임대 건물을 가진 원장들의 평가지표에 대한 이해정도가 낮았으며, 전문대졸 이하이며, 2개 학급 이하의 규모, 인가정원이 50명 이하인 원장들의 개선의지가 낮았다. 또한 사립유치원 원장들은 평가지표에 대한 이해보다 개선의지가 더 높았다. The purpose of this study was to investigate private kindergarten directors' recognitions of National Assessment of Kindergarten. A total of 119 directors of private kindergarten directors in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, Korea completed the questionnaire. The main findings were as follows. First, among the five domains of National Assessment of Kindergarten, curriculum domain was rated as most important followed by health/ nutritions, educational environment, administration and full-day program domain. Second, degree of commitment to improve was higher than degree of understanding in the domains of educational environment, administration and full-day program while degree of understanding was higher than degree of commitment to improve in curriculum domain. Third, some of the personal variables and environmental variables were related with degree of understanding and degree of commitment. Issues on successful settlement of national assessment of kindergarten were discussed.

보육시설 유아의 연령에 따른 실외놀이 시설에 대한 선호도

본 연구에서는 유아의 바람직한 발달을 위해 실외환경의 중요성에 대한 인식을 확대 시키고, 유아의 발달에 따른 놀이시설 선호도를 분석하여 유아의 실외놀이 및 실외놀이시설을 활성화시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 실외놀이 시설에 대한 유아들의 선호는 어떠하며, 실외놀이 시설에 대한 유아들의 선호도는 연령에 따라 차이가 있는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 유아들이 가장 선호하는 실외놀이 시설은 열린 공간, 복합미끄럼틀, 시소, 그네, 모래놀이, 흔들 말, 오르기 대 등의 순으로 선호하였다. 또한 남아는 여아보다 열린 공간을 선호하였고, 여아는 그네를 선호하였다. 연령별로 나누어 살펴볼 때 어린연령의 유아들은 시소와 흔들 말을 선호하였으며, 연령이 높아질수록 오르기대와 열린 공간을 선호하였다. The purpose of this study was to recognize the importance of outdoor play for children`s appropriate development, to analyze children`s preferences for outdoor play equipments and to provide a basic data to revitalize a children`s outdoor play and outdoor play equipments. Therefore the research questions of this study are as follow: First, what is the children`s preference for outdoor play equipment? Second, is there the difference of preference for outdoor play equipment by childrens` age and sex? The results of this study are as follow: first, the children`s preference for outdoor play equipment was in the following order: open space, slide, seesaw, swing, rocking horses, and climber. But it was found that children`s preference for the outdoor play equipment was different by their age. Two-year olds preferred rocking horse, three-year olds preferred open spaces, and five-year olds preferred multiple slides.

본 연구의 목적은 영아반 교사들의 개인적 특성과 근무 여건, 직무스트레스의 일반적 경향을 유아반 교사들과 비교한 후 영아반 교사 개인 및 시설 변인에 따른 직무스트레스를 차이를 살펴보고, 직무스트레스와 스트레스 대처양식간의 관계를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기 지역에 소재한 보육시설의 영아반 교사 102명과 유아반 교사 126명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 회수한 자료는 SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다, 분석 결과 영아반 교사는 유아반 교사들에 비해 젊고, 학력과 월평균 소득이 낮았다. 영아반 교사들의 스트레스 수준은 보통보다 약간 낮은 수준 이었으며, 보육시설의 조직건강은 영아반 교사의 직무스트레스 중 불화 및 갈등과 부적상관이 있었다. 영아반 교사는 유아반 교사보다 스트레스 대처를 덜 사용하였으며, 영아반 교사의 직무스트레스는 증상관리 대처방법과 정적 상관이 있었다. 본 결과는 저 출산시대를 맞이하여 새롭게 각광받고 있는 영아보육서비스의 질적 제고에 유용한 자료를 제공하는데 그 의의가 있다고 하겠다. The purpose of this study was to investigate infant care-givers' job stress and stress coping style. One hundred and two infant care-givers and, as a comparison group, 126 preschool care-givers completed the questionnaire. As a results, infant teachers were different from preschool care-givers in terms of personal characteristics and working conditions. Job stress of infant care-givers was slightly lower than medium level and was negatively associated with organizational health but not with any of care-givers' personal characteristics. Infant care-givers had less stress-coping strategies than preschool care-givers and their job stress was positively linked to symptom strategies. Issues on increasing quality of infant child-care were discussed.
