보육교사의 인성과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 교사 효능감의 매개효과

본 연구는 보육교사의 인성이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 교사 효능감의 매개효과를 검증함으로써, 보육교사의 심리적 안녕감에 관하여 학계에 유용한 정보 제공을 할 수 있다. 또한 보육교사의 심리적 안녕감을 높일 수 있는 방법으로 현장에 적용하고 실천적인 가능성을 높이고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 네가지 연구문제를 선정하였다. 첫째, 보육교사의 인성은, 심리적 안녕감에 대해서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인한다. 둘째, 보육교사의 교사 효능감은 심리적 안녕에 대해서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인한다. 셋째, 보육교사의 인성과 심리적 안녕감 사이에서 교사효능감이 어떠한 매개효과를 나타내는지 확인한다. 넷째, 인구사회학적 특성, 변인에 따라 보육교사의 인성인식, 교사 효능감, 심리적 안녕감은 어떤 차이가 있는지 확인한다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 인성은 심리적안녕감에 정적인 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타났으며, 하위영역 중 도덕성, 사회성, 소명의식에 대해서 유익한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 교사 효능감은 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타났으며, 하위영역 중 학생참여 의식이 상대적으로 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사의 인성이 교사 효능감을 매개하여 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 간접효과는 유의미하게 나타났으며, 보육교사의 인성 수준이 심리적안녕감에 미치는 직접효과 또한, 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 넷째, 인구학적 특성에 따라 인성과 교사 효능감, 그리고 심리적안녕감이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이상의 연구결과는 보육교사인성이 심리적 안녕감에 직접적인 영향을 주는 변인인 것이 검증되었으며, 영·유아교사의 인성은 교사 효능감에 직접 영향을 주기도 하고 교사 효능감을 매개로 보육교사의 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 주는 구조를 가지고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to provide useful information to the academic world with the psychological well-being of child care teachers by analyzing the effect of the personality of child care teachers on psychological well-being and verifying the mediating effect of teacher efficacy. It is also aimed at applying it to the site and enhancing practical possibilities in a way that can enhance the psychological well-being of child care teachers. Four research questions were selected for this purpose. Research Question 1. How does the character of a child care teacher affect psychological well-being? Research question 2. How does the teacher's efficacy of child care teachers have an effect on the psychological well-being? Research question 3. What mediating effect does the teacher's efficacy represent between the personality and psychological well-being of the child care teachers? Research question 4. What are the differences in the personality cognizance, teacher efficacy and psychological well-being of child care teachers depending on sociodemographic characteristics and variables? The survey subjects of this study are child care teachers who working in field of the day care centers. Including preliminary surveys, 600 copies of survey were distributed to the study participants and were collected 588 by subjects and recovery rate is 98%. The final 573 copies of the survey were used as statistical analysis data for the study, excluding 15 questionnaires that were deemed insincerity or inappropriate for research purposes. The collected data were analyzed in a way of structural equation using the SPSS 26.0 Statistical Program and AMOS 24.0, and the results of the study were as follows. First, the personality of a child care teacher was found to have a static influence on psychological well-being, and to have a beneficial effect on morality, sociality, and sense of calling in the sub-areas. Second, the teacher's sense of efficacy of child care teachers has been shown to have an effect on psychological well-being, and one of the lower areas, the consciousness of students' participation has a relatively high impact. Third, the indirect effect of the character of a child care teacher on the recognition of psychological well-being by mediating efficacy in teaching was meaningful, and the direct effect of the level of child care teachers' personalities on psychological well-being was also significant in the statistics. Fourth, personality, teacher efficacy, and psychological well-being showed statistically significant differences depending on demographic characteristics. The above findings confirm that child care teacher's personality is an important variable that directly affects psychological well-being, and it can be seen that infant care teacher's personality influences the teacher’s sense of efficacy at firsthand and has a structure by mediating teacher's efficacy that affects to the child care teacher's psychological well-being. In addition, the influence of each sub-factors was verified by analyzing the path between the personality, teacher efficacy, and psychological well-being of child care teachers, and it is meaningful to provide basic data on psychological well-being to prospective or incumbent child care teachers in the future.
