Although fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) composites are increasingly being considered for use in civil infrastructure, their widespread use is constrained due to current considerations of higher initial cost, lack of comprehensive design approaches and guidelines. The objective of the research was to provide fundamental baseline of glass/polyester composite materials and GFRP deck for fatigue. Specially, to estimate fatigue performance of GFRP deck under moving wheel load, the test were carried out on a full scale GFRP bridge deck under static and dynamic wheel loading. After fatigue testing for a million cycle, the structural system exhibits insignificant stiffness degradation.
