        공학교육에서 학습자 주도형 강의방법을 통한 학습효과 향상에 관한 연구

        공학교육에서 학생들의 학습효과를 향상시키고 학생들에게 현장실무능력을 제공할 수 있는 개선된 강의방법을 모색하였다. 본 대학 기계설계과 유공압공학 교과목을 수강하는 학생들을 대상으로 학습자 주도형 강의방법을 도입한 결과 학습동기유발, 학습의욕고취, 상상력과 창의력 배양, 문제해결능력 향상면에서 교수 주도형 강의방법보다 더 효과적이었다. 학습자 주도형 강의방법을 성공적으로 수행하기 위하여 실험 실습기자재를 갖춘 강의실에서 이론과 실험 실습의 통합강의를 하였으며, 학생들이 실험 실습을 통하여 충분한 경험을 습득하고 나서 실험 실습의 결과를 기초로 하여 교수가 제시하는 과제를 해결하는 과정에서 이론적 배경을 조사하도록 하였다. 과제는 학습목표를 달성하기 위한 실질적인 내용으로 제시하여 현장실무능력을 향상시키도록 하고 교수는 학생 스스로 문제를 해결하도록 도와주는 역할을 하는 것이 중요하다. 매시간 강의가 끝날 즈음에 학생들이 개별적으로 학업성취도, 질문사항 및 강의방법에 대한 설문지를 작성하도록 하고, 그 결과를 다음 강의에 적용함으로써 학생들의 수업에 대한 참여도와 교과목에 대한 관심도를 향상시킬 수 있다. 공학교육은 모든 교과목에서 현장실무능력, 상상력과 창의력 및 문제해결능력이 요구되므로, 교수 주도형 강의방법보다 학습자 주도형 강의방법을 도입하는 것이 바람직하다고 하겠다. This study investigated the improved teaching methods which can enhance the learning effects of students in engineering education and provide students with practical abilities of field works. As the results of applying student-oriented teaching methods to students who take the course of hydraulic and pneumatic control in the department of mechanical design engineering of Dongyang technical college, student-oriented teaching method Is more effective than professor-oriented teaching methods in the aspects of motivation of learning, cultivation of imagination and creativity, and ability of solving problems. In order to successfully execute student-oriented teaching method, integrated lecture of both theory and experimental practice has been carried out in the classroom equipped with experimental facilities, and after acquiring sufficient experience through experimental practices, students looked into theoretical backgrounds based on the experimental results during the process solving the subjects which a professor suggested. The subjects should be suggested with the contents for accomplishing the goal of learning, and it is very important for a professor to play the role of helping students solve the problems by themselves, which results in improving practical ability of field works. At the end of every class, a professor has students fill up the questionnaire about the level of learning achievement, questions, and teaching method, and applying the surveying results to the next class can bring out improving the extents of students' participation of classes and concerns about the course. Since the engineering education requires a practical ability of field works, imagination, and creativity in every course, it is desirable to introduce student-oriented teaching method rather than professor-oriented teaching method.

        공기압 방향제어 밸브의 성능향상을 위한 제조기술 개발

        The study was carried out to suggest measures ofr higher productivity and performance improvement of the solenoid operated pneumatic directional control valves. The main findings of the study were as follows: 1. As for the performance, the home-produced valves are found to be good enough to bear the comparison with the imported ones. But in the aspect of homogeneity, the performance of domestic valves was somewhat of inferior quality. 2. Developement of a small number of materials, test equipment investment and improvement in production control are found to be necessary to obtain homogeneity of products. 3. The results of the investigation of the problems concerned with domestic goods and suggestions for their solution are presented in the table 8.

        This study is carried out to develop the systematic design method of the turbo-type special vacuum self-priming pump(TVSP pump) made and sold by Ilsung Pump. Co.,Ltd, which is one of the promising smaller firm. In this paper, the design method of the impellers of TVSP pumps applying the law of similarity, and the procedure and method, which are able to easily design various sizes of TVSP pumps, are suggested. As the results, Ilsung Pump. Co.,Ltd can design various sizes of TVSP pumps, and expect the improvement of performance of TVSP pumps, reduction of labor costs, and elevation of productivity. The results of this research also offer the opportunity that industries recognize the need and importance of industry-academic cooperation.

        This study aims to develop a curriculum for providing a major advanced course at the department of mechanical design engineering of Dongyang Technical College. This course provides employees of industrial fields around our college with project-oriented educations. These educations are carried out to satisfy the requirement from industrial employees and employers. To this end, the professors and students work together to resolve the project requested by the industry. It results in cultivating students' problem solving and project-related capacities. This study consists of survey researches concerning with educational clients, projects required by industrial fields, required curriculum, selection of required and elective courses for a project, and flexible curriculum organization for client-oriented advanced curriculum emphasizing project-oriented education.

      • 전문대학 평가인증 기준 중요도 분석을 통한 인증기준 개선에 관한 연구

        The college accreditation, on the basis of Article 11 of the Higher Education Act, to improve the quality of education of the college and ensure the right to know education customers, is a new system, which came into force from 2011 in Korea. The college accreditation is to assure the quality of education by accreditation of the third-party organization that has been certified by the government for the college’s general management including education, research, cooperation of business and academy, student support, organization management, facility, equipment, etc. In terms of the improvement of accreditation system, this study was to present improvement suggestions of accreditation criteria through a relative priority analysis for college accreditation criteria on current system. For this reason, we have carried out a survey targeting evaluators and ALO(accreditation liaison officer, who worked for accreditation in college), and analyzed the importance of each criterion authentication through the analysis of the AHP(analytical hierarchy process). Based on the results of the analysis, we presented the improvement suggestions of secondary accreditation criteria that can be reduce the nine accreditation criteria to six criteria. Reducing of accreditation criteria will be resulted in reducing of total cost to be certified and ease the a accreditation burden.
