In the present studies, decursinol angelate, decursin isolated from Angelica gignatis radix and oil fraction of Cnidii rhizoma was analyzed by normal phase HPLC and GC/MS respectively. The standardized water extracts of Angelica gignatis radix, Cnidii rhizoma and its complex named Gung-gui-tang was tested the anti mutagenic effects by in vitro genotoxicity using Salmonella reversion assay (Ames test) and micronucleus test in chinese hamster ovary(CHO) cells. Angelica gignatis radix, Cnidii rhizoma and Gung-gui-tang was not exhibited the antimutagenic effects in the Salmonella reversion assays with or without metabolic activation. However, the micronucleus test assays, Angelica gignatis radix and Gung-gui-tang was showed the antimutagenic effects significantly. The maximum inhibition observed with Gung-gui-tang was reduced by 59% in the micronucleus test without metabolic activation. In this paper, results are presented on the availability of potential antimutagenic activity of the water extracts of Gung-gui-tang.

Seismic Analysis of Absorber Rod in KMRR Reactivity Control Mechanism

This study is on a seismic analysis of absorber rod in KMRR Reactivity Control Mechanism. The model being studied is two coaxial tubes(control absorber rod and flow tube) immersed in the water and partially coupled(overlap) by water gap. The hydrodynamic mass effects by the water in each surrounding conditions are considered in the model. The natural frequencies, stresses and displacements of the system due to Safe Shutdown Earthquake are computed in the cases of in-phase modes and out-of-phase modes of two coaxial tubes. The results show that maximum stresses are well below the allowable limit but the maximum displacements at the ends of both tubes are so much that the absorber rod contacts with the flow tube(or surrounding wall). 본 연구에서는 다목적연구로 반응도제어장치의 제어봉에 대한 내진해석을 수행하였다. 해석모델은 물속에 잠겨있는 두개의 관(중성자흡수봉 및 유동관)이 동심축상에 있으며 부분적으로 중첩된 두 관끝단의 유체틈에 의해 서로 동적으로 연결되어 있다. 유체에 의한 동적질량을 고려한 고유진동수를 구하고 안전정지지진에 의해 발생하는 최대응력과 최대변위를 동위상 및 역위상 거동별로 각각 구하였다. 해석결과 최대응력은 허용치보다 작게 나타나 구조적인 건전성은 입증되었으나, 최대변위는 두 개의 관이 서로 부딪히고 중성자흡수봉은 주위의 다른 벽에도 부딪히는 현상을 수발함을 알 수 있었다.

FCST의 음양균형장치를 활용한 경련성 사경증 증례보고

본 증례에서는 후천성으로 나타난 경련성 사경증 2례에 대해 외래 진료로 각각 3개월(91일간 54회), 5개월 반(167일간 90회)동안 FCST의 음양균형장치를 주 치료수단으로 하고 침구치료, 도수치료, 약물치료를 보조 치료수단으로 하여 치료하였다. 2례 모두 시각적 상사 척도(VAS)를 적용하여 평가해보았을 때 완전한 호전이 이루어졌다고 판단되었고, 임상적 관찰과 환자의 주관적 구술에서도 모든 증상의 소실과 정상 회복을 확인하고 치료를 종료하였다. 이후 각각 5개월에서 10개월간 추적 관찰한 결과 모두 정상적인 생활을 하고 있음을 확인하고 치료 효과의 정상 유지를 관찰했다. 이로써 아탈구된 상부경추와 뇌신경계 및 경락체계의 불균형과 경련성 사경의 유의한 관련성을 유추해볼 수 있었으며, 이의 회복에 음양균형장치를 활용하여 악관절의 다차원적인 이상적 음양중심균형위치를 찾아줌으로써 척추를 비롯해 뇌와 경락체계를 조절해줄 수 있다는 FCST의 치료원리가 유의한 결과로 입증된 경우라 사료된다. Objectives: Therapeutic effect of Balance Appliance of functional cerebrospinal technique (FCST) for meridian and neurologic yinyang balance was observed in two refractory torticollis cases. Methods: A unidentified severe torticollis two cases with several months of duration was managed by the Balance Appliance on temporomandibular joint (TMJ), combined with acupuncture and manual medicine. Results: Assessment was made by self assessment of subjective symptoms and clinical observation. The patient reported over-90% remission and returned to ordinary daily Life after 3∼5 months of therapy, which effect was reported to maintain for 6 months. Conclusions: An impressive effect was observed and further clinical and biological research on FCST is expected.
