Most augmented reality applications need both image recognition and image tracking. Due to limited computing resources, the mobile system requires more processing time in image recognition than in image tracking. To improve system operation performance, we need to reduce the number of image recognition processes and maintain a suitable condition with terms of the number of inlier feature points used for image tracking for a long time. To obtain the steady inlier points, this study uses an effective prediction with both matched feature points extracted from image recognition and homography. This method predicts tracking points by using feature points obtained from a scene image. Our approach shows a 100% increase in the number of inlier tracking feature points. This result can give a possibility t,o compute more accurate homography and enhance the system performance

눈꽃동충하초(Paecilomyces tenuipes)의 인간 암세포주에 대한 세포독성

논꽃동충하초(Paecilomyces tenuipes DGUM 32001)의 자실체를 메탄올로 추출하여 인간 암세포주에 대한 세포독성을 조사하였다. 메탄올 추출물의 암세포주에 대한 세포독성은 매우 우수하였다. 메탄올 추출물의 용매 분획 중, 에틸아세테이트 분획에서 가장 우수한 세포독성을 나타내었으며, HeLa, HeLa S3 및 A-431 암세포주에 대한 $IC_{50}$ 값은 각각 13, 35 및 30 $\mu$ g/ml이었다. 그러나, 이 분획의 HeLa 암세포주에 대한 세포독성은 apoptosis에 의하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 배양 균사체의 메탄올 추출물은 A-431 암세포주에 대해 우수한 세포독성을 보여주었다. Paecilomyces tenuipes DGUM 32001, an entomopathogenic fungus, was examined to evaluate in vitro cytotoxicity against several human cancer cells. The fruiting bodies of P. tenuipes were extracted with methanol and fractioned with some organic solvents i.e. chloroform, ethyl acetate, and butanol. The methanol extracts of P. tenuipes showed significant cytotoxicity against human cancer cell lines; HeLa, HeLa S3, and A-431. Among the fractions tested, the ethyl acetate fraction had the highest cytotoxicity against three cancer cell lines. The $IC_{50}$ values of ethyl acetate fraction against HeLa, HeLa S3, and A-431 were 13, 35, and 30 $\mu$g/ml, respectively. However, cytotoxicity might not be due to apoptosis. The methanol extract of cultured mycelia showed high cytotoxicity against HeLa cell lines.

Since the fishing boat in Korea as today is largely of small type, the obstacle that hinders the fishing industry from its growth is the deficient in the navigation facilities or equipments along with the want of technical information neccessary to the good navigators. The efficiency or development of the fishing industry, particulry of the deep sea fisheries, is what could be expected after the above factors were solved by any means. The author has long since been the captain of the practice boat of Pusan Fisheries College and been talking charge of the senior students' deep sea fishing practice for the last two years, During the periods he has ever been keeping in mind to find out the best way in helping the students easily acquire the techniques of navigation with efficient skills of fishing operation, and finally arrived in the following conclusions on which emphasis should be put in instruction: 1. The method of calculation with the use of only △d in the Table of H.O. 214 Computed Altitude and Azimuth. 2. The method of parallel use of fish-finder in a single position line. 3. The maximum use of the Running Fix. .

폐엽절제술후 흉부X선소견의 변동: 상하폐엽절제술의 감별

After a lobectomy the appearance of the chest roentgenogram may return so nearly to normal that it is frequently very difficult to tell which lobe has been removed without refering to the thoracic surgeon's record. The review of literature failed to disclose previous articles concerning the differential diagnosis between upper and lower lobectomy. Clues of a lobectomy may be found in the rib cage, hilar shadows, pleura and diaphragms, but they do not specifically indicate which lobe has been removed. In the present study we analysed anatomico-spatial changes of the pulmonary basal arteries, hilar point, vascular redistribution, diaphragm and rib cage on the plain chest films taken before and after a lobectomy in 33 cases seen at the Department of Radiology. St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic Medical College. Firstly we observed the pulmonary basal artery after a lobectomy on plain chest film. In 12 cases of upper lobectomy the pulmonary basal artery was easily indentified in every cases. However in all of 21 cases of lower lobectomy, the pulmonary basal artery was not identified. Next, a shift of the hilar point was checked after a lobectomy. Regarding to vascular redistribution, the blood vessels was counted at upper and lower lung fields by Simon's method before and after a lobectomy, respectively. Finally, the level of the diaphragm was compared in the pre. and post-operative films and resected rib was scrutinzed. The present study revealed that the most reliable sign to indicate specifically which lobe has been resected is persistence or disappearance of the pulmonary basal artery. Then, i.e. in upper lobectomy the pulmonary basal artery was easily identified, but in lower lobectomy the pulmonary basal artery was not dectable. Other findings such as vascular redistribution, elevated disphragm and resected rib were not specific.

영어 인식자에 대한 최적성이론적 접근

This study aims at suggesting a better analysis of logophor within the framework of Optimality Theory first proposed by Prince and Smolensky(1993). Principles are universal in the Agreement theory after Chomsky(1999, 2000, 2001). However, there are several exceptions which violate the principles. So, in order to accept such exceptions, Optimality Theory changes the exceptions into constraints to give a grade, and then, selects, as the optimal candidate, a candidate which violates the low ranked constraint in the EVAL process. Therefore, this study proposes to solve interpretation of English logophor within the OT framework.

Development of an angiogenesisfocused cDNA chip and validation of its functionality

DNA chip has been used as the genetic reprogramming of cells and its link to cellular phenotype such as angiogenesis. To evalu-ate the angiogenesis related genetic reprogramming more efficiently, we here developed an angioge-nesis-focused cDNA chip containing 153 angioge-nesis related genes arrayed in duplicate on a slide glass. In order to validate the functionality of the angiogenesis-focused cDNA chip, we examined gene expression profiles in HT1080 cells treated with either fetal bovine serum, a well known pro-angio-genic factor, or trichostatin A, a known angiogenesis inhibitor, using the cDNA chip. All duplicate data from the analysis are well matched with each other and gene expression profiles are well consistent with previously reported data. These results demonstrate here can be a useful tool towards angiogenesis- related researches.
