Among the various CO<sub>2</sub> capture and utilization (CCU) systems, photoautotrophic mass cultivation of microalgae is the most promising strategy for reducing CO<sub>2</sub> from an industrial flue gas with the production of high value compounds. Herein, we suggest a cost-effective and energy-efficient CCU process by using Haematococcus pluvialis, which is considered as the richest source of natural astaxanthin and the highest value ketocarotenoid. In order to establish economic H. pluvialis mass culture system, the industrial flue gases containing 3-5% CO<sub>2</sub> was directly used as carbon-feedstock to produce astaxanthin in H. pluvialis by using a two-stage process which was installed near the LNG combustion stack of the Korea District Heating Corporation. We developed a low-cost thin-film photobioreactor system with a vertical bubble column providing a viable option for direct capture and utilization of concentrated CO<sub>2</sub> emitted from power plants due to ease of scale-up and efficient capture of CO<sub>2</sub>.

This study was implemented to investigate the effect of column diameter (D), height/diameter (H/D) ratio, and gas flow rate on microalgae culturing by using Haematococcus pluvialis. Bubble column reactors with various D and H/D ratio were tested to assess the hydrodynamic properties and biomass production performance. Then, H. pluvialis was cultured under outdoor autotrophic conditions from industrial flue gas. Reactor volume increased to 354% with minimized biomass loss by optimizing the reactor module. Compared to the control, developed module showed biomass and astaxanthin productivity of 0.052 versus 0.053 g/L/day, and 1.48 versus 1.47 mg/L/day, respectively. Consequently, biomass productivity was retained with increased reactor scale, and the result is appropriate for the scale up of overall microalgae cultivation process.
Sequential operations of microalgal lipid productivity in multiplex microfluidic system

The unit cost for the production of algal biofuel needs to be reduced in order to be a substitute for fossil fuel. Here, we developed a PDMS-based multiplex microfluidic system with eight chambers and micropillar arrays to expedite multiple steps for lipid sample preparation from different microalgal strains. We could rapidly and efficiently perform sequential operations from cell culture to lipid extraction of eight different microalgal strains simultaneously on a single device without harvesting and purification steps, which are labor- and energy-intensive, by the simple injection of medium and solvent into the central inlet due to the integrated micropillar arrays connecting the chambers and central inlet. The lipid extraction efficiency using this system was comparable (94.5-102.6%) to the conventional Bligh-Dyer method. These results demonstrate that our multiplex microfluidic approach can provide an efficient analytical tool for the rapid analysis of strain performances.

We propose a cost-effective and energy-efficient CCU process using the unicellular green microalga, Haematococcus pluvialis, which is considered as the richest source of natural astaxanthin, the highest value ketocarotenoid. In order to establish economic H. pluvialis mass culture system, the industrial flue gases containing 3-5% CO<sub>2</sub> from the combustion of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in combined heat and power plants was directly used as carbon-feedstock to produce astaxanthin in H. pluvialis using a two-stage process which was successfully installed near the LNG combustion stack of the Korea District Heating Corporation (KDHC). We will expand the culture capacity based on closed PBR system to a 10 ton with the prospective effects of securing up to 50 tons of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) a year, producing 6,000 kg of an antioxidant carotenoid astaxanthin yearly.

In this study, in order to understand the effect of O2O platform food delivery service characteristics on perceived value and choice attribute, consumers' perceived value was classified in detail and the influence relationship on customer satisfaction, acceptance intention, and repurchase intention was analyzed. The moderating effect of food involvement was investigated, and the results of hypothesis testing to achieve the purpose of the study are summarized as follows. In this study, from September 10 to 30, 2020, online (using Google Drive) and offline, 390 questionnaires were analyzed for users who have experience using the O2O platform delivery service. was used. As a result of the relationship between the various factors of the characteristics of the O2O platform food delivery service and the perceived value, the need to build a platform that can continuously develop all of the delivery service factors is suggested. presented a practical marketing strategy to secure repurchase.
광촉매 환기시스템을 이용한 폼알데하이드 오염 농도 저감 성능 실험

Purpose: As people spend more time indoors, the importance of indoor pollutant management in their homes is increasing. The number of deaths from indoor pollutants has also increased, and interest in indoor pollutants has increased due to the recent COVID-19 virus and fine dust problems. In particular, there is a growing concern about formaldehyde, one of the representative gas pollutants. To overcome the limitations of the mechanical ventilation system, we would like to develop a system that effectively removes formaldehyde from gas-phase pollutants by combining a photocatalytic reactor with a heat transfer exchanger. To this end, we would like to review the performance through experiments in residential studio spaces and contribute to the removal of indoor formaldehyde. Method: This study conducted an experiment to control the concentration of formaldehyde using a heat exchanger combining a photocatalytic reactor to improve indoor air quality. The experiment compared and analyzed the internal circulation mode and photocatalytic mode at three ventilation rates: 0.5ACH, 1.0ACH, and 2.0ACH, and was conducted in an indoor residential studio space. Result: The photocatalytic mode showed significantly better performance than the internal circulation mode in reducing the concentration of formaldehyde. As the number of ventilation increased, photocatalytic modes showed higher formaldehyde concentration reduction rates from 40% to 98%. This has confirmed that the photocatalytic reactor is effective in removing gaseous contaminants.
배달음식의 이용현황과 인식 및 만족도 연구-수도권 20∼30대 1인 가구를 중심으로-

This study investigated usage behavior, preferred recipe, and satisfaction of delivery food on single households in their 20s∼30s. The collected data consisted of 315 sheets, and the frequency and percentage standard deviation were calculated using SPSS PASW 21.0. Chi-squared test, independent sample t-test, regression analysis were performed. The results are summarized as follows. Regarding the frequency of delivery food uses, once or twice a week was the highest (43.8%), and 77.1% people use delivery food for dinner. The most of people spent 15,000∼20,000 won for one delivery (42.2%), and main delivery foods were fast food (33.3%) and Korean food(27.6%). What was considered most important as delivery food was taste (54.3%), followed by price (26.0%), recommendation (7.3%), quantity (4.1%). The most of people used delivery apps (96.8%), and the most preferred delivery food companies are franchised delivery food restaurants (44.4%). Regarding the recognition about delivery food, taste·savor was the highest (3.36), followed by health (2.36), sanitation (3.19), diversity (4.29), usability (4.24) and reuse intention (3.99). And the overall satisfaction with delivery food was 3.62. In the multiple response for the improvements of delivery food, the most responses were lowering price (68.9%) followed by hygienic packing (32.4%). The preference for delivery food ingredients was chicken(4.19), and the preference for cooking method was highest in roasting(4.17).
