열가수분해 반응을 이용한 조류인플루엔자(AI) 감염 가금류의 사체처리 및 연료화

본 연구에서는 열가수분해 기술을 이용하여 AI 발생으로 인해 살처분된 가금류 사체를 처리하고 연료화 가능성을 판단하고자 하였다. 실험결과 가금류 사체는 일부 모래를 제외하고 모두 액상화 되었으며, 운전온도 190℃, 운전시간 60분에서 최적효율을 나타냈다. 열가수분해 후 발생한 액상생성물은 탄소 함유량과 발열량이 높고 회분의 함량이 낮아 연료화 하기에 좋은 조건을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 별도의 보조연료 투입없이 연소 시 발생하는 폐열만을 활용해 열가수분해 설비를 운전하는 것이 가능하였으며, 연소 시 발생하는 배출가스는 대기에 미치는 영향은 적은 것으로 나타났다. In this study, a thermal hydrolysis technology was used to treat the poultry carcasses that were killed due to Avian Influenza (AI) occurrence, as well as to determine the possibility of fueling for the resultant products. Experimental results showed that the poultry carcasses were liquefied except for sand, and showed the optimum efficiency at 190℃ and operating time of 60 minutes. It has been shown that liquid products obtained after thermal hydrolysis has good conditions for fuel conversion since it had high carbon contents and calorific value, as well as low ash content. In addition, it was possible to operate the thermal hydrolysis facility by using only the waste heat generated in the combustion without injecting the auxiliary fuel, and the exhaust gas generated in the combustion has a small influence on the atmosphere.

Over the past three decades, Korea has undertaken a series of reforms to improve development policy, plans and programs, including measures to mainstream the environment across all major sectors. Despite of these efforts, there has been still the lack of capacity to fully assess the environmental impacts as well as sustainable implications of development projects and strategies. At the level of regional and sectoral development plans, the development of strategic environmental assessment SEA systems continues to remain at a relatively early stage in the region with fewer examples of fully operational processes or effective practice. This study shows a further information to our understanding of the EIA and SEA systems and their implementation in Korea. It affords a number of insights into strengths and weaknesses of the current action in different countries, and identifies an agenda of needs and options for capacity building for implementing the EIA enactment.
자동차 시트벨트의 진동특성 개선을 위한 구조에 관한 연구

To prevent vibration of a vehicle's interior parts due to external impacts, the vehicle should be designed to reduce vibration and increase rigidity. In this paper, we conducted a vehicle test in which the vibration characteristics of a seatbelt resulting from the impact of a person closing a car door were measured and analyzed. A correlation analysis was performed using the finite analysis method. Based on this, a sensitivity analysis was performed, and an improved model was designed. We compared the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the improved and the initial models, which confirmed that the natural frequency of the improved model was more than 10 Hz higher than that of the initial model. Moreover, the response frequency of the improved model was three times higher than the input frequency applied in the vehicle test.
