In this study, we are to analyze the life and the main failure mode of parallel opening type pneumatic chuck that are usually applied in the factory automation line. Pneumatic chucks have complicated failure cause because they are organized as a complex of various elements. Therefore, in this paper, we analyzed the main failure mode of pneumatic chuck, and then performed life test and performance test according to the international standards. On the basis of these processes, we estimate shape parameter that is the main factor for the calculation of test time for the reliability of pneumatic chuck and their data analysis of life distribution.

The position control for deck crane which has non-linear speed characteristic is considered in this paper. a deck crane"s operating part is constructed by hydraulic unit, thus deck crane has non-linear output characteristic. to better controllability of speed and position, in need to calibrate that non-linear characteristic. We make compensator for non-linearity and controller for controllability of deck crane system. all analysis were conducted using AMESim, a leading commerical modeling program in the fields of hydraulics control system.

A series hydraulic hybrid vehicle(SHHV) concept has been explored as a potential pathway to an ultra-efficient city vehicle. Improvements in SHHV fuel economy with reduced emissions trongly depend on their supervisory control strategy. Thermostatic control is simple and reliable but it"s cause of frequent engine on-off. Therefore, power follower strategy is presented In this paper, thermostatic control strategy and power follower strategy is compared for the SHHV model developed using AMESim.

A deck crane is controlled mainly by three hydraulic control system, i.e.hoisting, luffing and slewing system. In hoisting control system we used the "load-sensing" method, which allowed automatic adjustment of motor"s rotational speed depending on the load. We analysed influential parameters in design through hydraulic circuit analysis. Since the stability and accuracy of the system is important, all circuit analysis were conducted using AMESim, a leading commercial modeling program in the fields of hydraulics control system.
