A traditional notion of composites has been composed as a uniform dispersoid, but now it is proposed without regard to such rule with process development. Functionally Graded Material(FGM) consists of a new material design that is to make intentionally irregular dispersion state. In this study, thermal stress analysis of plasma spraying PSZ/NiCrAlY gradient material was conducted theoretically using a finite-element program. A formations of the model are direct bonding material(NFGM) and FGM with PSZ and NiCrAlY component element. The temperature conditions were $700^{\circ}C$ to 1100.deg. C assuming a cooling-down precess up to room temperature. Fracture damage mechanism was analyzed by the parameters of residual stress.
맥아의 α-Amylase Isozyme에 미치는 Red Light의 영향

This study carried out to changes α-amylase activity and isozymes in barley during germination in the dark and red light. The specific activity of α-amylase was increased during the germination periods in the dark, giving 355.0 and 523.7 units/㎎ protein at 3 and 5 day, and the activity was increased by the red light up to 48 and 15% at 3 and 5 days of germination, respectively. The ratio of α-amylase Ⅰ and Ⅱ was approximately 95 : 5 at both 3 and 5 days of germination in the dark while the different ratio was found by the red light i. e. 60 : 40 and 90 : 10 at 3 and 5 days of germination, respectively.

Laminated fiber-reinforced composites can be applied to an insulating structure of a nuclear fusion device. It is necessary to investigate the interlaminar fracture characteristics of the laminated composites for theassurance of design and structural integrity. The three methods used to prepare the glass fiber reinforced plasticcomposites tested in this study were vacuum pressure impregnation, high pressure laminate (HPL), and prepreglaminate. We discuss the design criteria for safe application of composites and the shear-compressive test methodsfor evaluating mechanical properties of the material. Shear-compressive tests could be performed successfullyusing series-type test jigs that were inclined 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 75° to the normal axis. Shear strengthdepends strongly on the applied compressive stress. The design range of allowable shear stress was extended byuse of the appropriate composite fabrication method. HPL had the largest design range, and the allowableinterlaminar shear stress was 0.254 times the compressive stress.
SPC 용접부의 강도특성에 미치는 $CO_2$ 용접조건의 영향

It is necessary to investigate the welding performance and fracture resistance of welding part in structure. This study presented a most suitable condition of welding process for butt and lap joints by $CO_2$ arc welding which is widely used in the vehicle structure. Also it was conducted to tensile and fatigue test under various welding conditions. For butt and lap joints, the best conditions of welding voltage and current were 30V and 320A, respectively, in 3.2 and 4.5 mm thick steel plate. Under this condition it could be taken the highest tensile strength and fatigue strength, and a good bead appearance.
수지의 혼합장치의 최적화 시스템을 위한 분쇄 및 분산 유동해석에 관한 연구

This study was successfully achieved out the optimized system for dispersing and mixing condition of resin liquid. The flow analysis was simulated according to the shape of the impeller and the stirring tank using ANSYS software and optimized in advanced design. As a result, it was confirmed that the shape and double number of the impeller on the flow field are influenced better effects in a range of mixing and diffusion areas comparing to single number of impeller. It was considered that stirring was performed more quickly and efficiently under the condition of double numbers and saw tooth type impeller. This result can be applied practically for the mixing tank in the industrial application and avaliable used to make a new system for painting equipment.
압연강판 접착제 접합부의 환경 접합강도에 미치는 온도 및 침수시간의 영향

Recently structural applications of adhesive bonding method have been increased extensively in automobile industry. Adhesively-bonded joints which are used in automobile field are exposed to various environmental conditions. In this study, several environmental factors were concerned to evaluate their effects on the adhesive strength such as air temperature, water temperature, exposed time in water. The specimens are exposed for 1, 10 and 100 hours at various air temperatures to evaluate the effects of the air and water temperature on the adhesive strength. It is proved that the adhesive strength decrease with rising the air and water temperature, and the adhesive strength decrease steeply at the higher temperature with increasing the exposure time in water.
