An experimental device was established for evaluating low-temperature spray properties to determine the effect of fuel temperature on the hydrodynamic properties and atomization properties of pressure swirl-type nozzles. The hydrodynamic characteristics were measured using a mass flow meter by varying injection pressure and temperature of fuel, and the atomization characteristics are measured using PIV system and PDA system. As the temperature decreased, the mass flow rate and discharge coefficients increased, and as the pressure increased, SMD and AMD decreased.
고온 환경에서 공랭식 및 수랭식 시스템을 이용한 4S1P 배터리 모듈의 열적 특성과 소비전력 비교

Recently, carbon emission regulations have been tightened due to climate change, and attention has been focused on renewable energy to deal with them. Energy storage system(ESS) and Electric vehicles(EVs) are effective way to respond to these environmental problems, and these are mainly use lithium-ion batteries. In this paper, the thermal characteristics of 1.5 kWh 4S1P battery module composed of four 100 Ah pouch type lithium-ion batteries are analyzed experimentally under different ambient temperature, current-rate and cooling methods. The experiments are firstly conducted with discharge of battery module at different current-rates ranging from 0.5C to 1.0C under 25°C to 45°C ambient temperature for investigating electro-thermal characteristics using air and liquid cooling system. Secondly, additional experiment was conducted to compare the power consumption between air and liquid cooling system under same ambient and coolant temperature.
