에탄올 처리에 의한 광릉긴나무좀(Platypus koryoensis) 유인목 효율 증대

참나무시들음병 매개충인 광릉긴나무좀(Platypus koryoensis (Murayama))(Coleoptera: Platypodidae)의 에탄올과 신갈나무 수피 추출물의 유인효과에 대하여 조사하였다. 유인트랩과 유인목 시험에서는 에탄올과 신갈나무 수피 추출물을 사용한 처리구가 대조구(무처리)보다 높은 유인효과를 나타내었으나, 두 유인제 간의 유의성은 찾지 못하였다. 유인목의 직경별 침입공 수를 비교한 결과, 침입공 수는 직경이 클수록 증가하였다. 유인목의 횡단면 상부와 하부 침입공 수를 비교한 결과, 상부보다 하부에 침입공이 많았고, 통계적으로 유의한 차이(p<0.05)를 나타내었는데, 이는 직사광선에 의한 건조가 적은 하부가 매개충의 먹이가 되는 미생물 번식에 유리하기 때문이라고 추정되었다. 결과적으로 신갈나무 수피 추출물보다 비용 면에서 경제적인 에탄올이 광릉긴나무좀 모니터링 및 방제에 효율적으로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 신갈나무 수피 추출물은 효율을 높일 수 있는 계속적인 연구의 필요성이 있다. The attractant effect to Platypus koryoensis (Murayama), an insect vector of Korean oak wilt disease, was determined using a multi-funnel trap and trap logs treated with ethanol and ethanol extract of the bark of the Mongolian oak Quercus mongolica (Fisher). The number of entrance holes in ethanol and bark ethanol extract treatments was higher than that in the control (blank bottle). However, the number of entrance holes in ethanol and bark ethanol extract treatments was not significantly different. The number of entrance holes in the logs increased with increase in diameter of the logs. The lower part of the trap logs had significantly more number of entrance holes than that in the upper part (p < 0.05). The lower part of trap logs tends to be rarely exposed to direct sunlight resulting in desiccation of the logs, which in turn provides good conditions for microbial growth, a food source for P. koryoensis. The results show, that ethanol could be used effectively in the monitoring and maintenance of P. koryoensis because of the cheaper cost of ethanol than bark ethanol extracts, and thus, having a higher economical advantage. Further research of oak bark ethanol extracts is necessary to improve its efficiency.

유럽은 다양성을 존중하는 사회이다 “다양성 속의 조화(United in Diversity)”라는 유럽연합의 모토에서도 알 수 있듯이 유럽사회는 각 지역의 다양성을 존중하고, 상호 교류 속에서 조화를 이루고자 한다. 글로컬라이제이션(Glocalization)은 지금까지 세계가 지향하던 글로벌라이제이션(Globalization)에서 벗어나 지역의 문화와 그 속의 독특한 개성을 강조하고자 하는 것으로, 획일화로 귀결되는 글로벌라이제이션에 대한 회의적인 시각과, 고유의 문화를 보존하고자 하는 움직임에서 시작되었다. 이는 곧 유럽사회가 강조하는 다양성에 대한 존중과도 이어지며, 글로벌라이제이션으로 대표되는 미국사회와 대칭을 형성하기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 글로컬라이제이션이 문화산업, 문화콘텐츠에서 가지는 의미를 살펴보고, 특히 유럽의 문화콘텐츠에서 어떠한 의미를 가지는지 알아보고자 한다. 다양한 문화콘텐츠 중에서도 ‘지역문화의 세계화’를 잘 보여주는 사례인 축제(Festival)를 통하여 이를 알아보고자 하였으며, 이를 통하여 유럽의 문화콘텐츠에서 글로컬(Glocal)이 갖는 의미를 알아본다. Europe is a society that respects diversity. As can be seen from the motto of the European Union, “United in Diversity” the European society respects regional diversity and tries to realize harmony through exchanges. Glocalization is an attempt to emphasize regional culture and color, instead of globalization the world has pursued, and has started with the movement to preserve unique culture as well as with skepticism of globalization, which leads to standardization. This is connected with the respect for diversity, as emphasized by the European society, and is symmetrical to the United States that represents globalization. This study aimed to investigate the meanings of glocalization in cultural contents and, particularly, what meanings it had in European cultural contents. Among diverse cultural contents, festivals were used because they might properly show ‘globalization of local culture.’ Festivals in Europe were reviewed to determine the meanings of being glocal in European cultural contents.

PCR을 이용한 벚나무 빗자루병균(Taphrina wiesneri)의 월동부위 검출

Taphrina wiesneri, a pathogen of cherry witches`` broom, is highly pathogenic to Prunus yedoensis Matsumura which are widely planted in parks and streets in South Korea. In order to control the disease, it is crucial to know the life cycle of the fungus. We attempted to detect the fungus tentatively overwintering in shoots and branches of cherry trees both having witches`` broom and healthy before flowering and leafing in spring using PCR with species-specific primer set (TwITSF and TwITSR). Genomic DNAs were extracted from the symptomatic and the asymptomatic shoots or branches. Results indicated that T. wiesneri is present in leaf buds and inner bark not only in symptomatic branches but also in the asymptomatic branches in diseased trees. However, the fungus was not detected in flower buds of the symptomatic trees and any samples of healthy trees.

한국 FTA에서의 시청각공동제작에 대한 연구: 한-EU, 한-중, 한-호주 FTA를 중심으로

본 연구는 우리나라 FTA에서의 시청각공동제작에 대한 연구를 하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 공동제작과 국제공동제작협정에 대한 개념적 이해를 하고자 하였으며, FTA협정문에 포함된 시청각공동제작에 대한 내용들을 자세히 살펴보고, 우리나라의 시청각공동제작협정에 대한 특징들에 대하여 연구하였다. FTA는 우리나라가 체결하여 현재 발효 된 FTA 중, 근거조항만을 포함한 FTA는 제외하고, 부속서 혹은 의정서를 작성하여 시청각공동제작에 대한 협정을 진행, 체결한 FTA를 선정하여 해당 내용에 대하여 살펴보았다. 우리나라 FTA에서의 시청각공동제작의 특징으로는 문화교류의 의미뿐만 아니라, GATS 협정 시 이에 대한 최혜국대우 면제 신청을 하지 않음으로 양자 간 협정인 시청각공동제작협정 체결 시 통상법적 문제가 발생할 수 있으며, FTA내에서의 시청각공동제작에 대한 협정은 이에 대응하기 위한 통상법적 조치로서의 의미를 가진다. 또한 국가 차원에서 국내 시청각 산업의 발전과 보호를 위한 환경적인 여건들을 마련함에 그 의미가 있다고 볼 수 있다. This research is about the Audiovisual Co-production in FTAs. Especially focused on Korea` FTAs. For this research, first, understanding the concepts of Co-production and International Co-production Agreement, second, reading the contents of the Audiovisual Co-production fall within FTAs in detail. And researching the characteristic of the Audiovisual Co-production in FTAs of Korea. This research choose three FTAs, ⅰ) excluded what it included just `built-in clause`, ⅱ) signed the Audiovisual Co-production Agreement by Annex or the Protocol. FTAs has meaning of promote cultural exchange among nations. Besides, when negotiated for GATS, Korea did not request on GATS to exempt from MFN(Most Favored Nation) of the Audiovisual Co-production Agreement. So, if want to enter into agreement with one or several nations, could be in legal problem by trade law. The Audiovisual Co-production Agreement in FTAs are signified a legal measure of trade law problem. Furthermore, it has important means of at national level provided the fundamental conditions for the development and protection of the domestic audiovisual industry.

차나무에 발생하는 병해에 대한 길항미생물 선발과 16S rRNA유전자 염기서열분석

The present study was carried out to select antagonistic bacteria against disease causing fungi in tea tree. The Colletotrichum-126, 120. and Pestalotiopsis-29, 23 isolates were isolated from diseased leaves. The bacteria (KTD-62) isolated from the soil sample were tested for its activity to inhibit the mycelial growth of the fungi. The mycelial growth of Colletotrichum-126, 121 and Pestalotiopsis-29, 23 were inhibited between 75-78% and 63-68% respectively by KTD-62 isolate. Based on analysis of 16S rRNA gene nucleotide sequences of KTD-62, it was found that KTD-62 shared 100% homology with Streptomyces violascens (GeneBank accession no. AB184246) and S. mauvecolor (GeneBank accession no. AB184532), so the KTD-62 strain was identified as Streptomyces violascens or S. mauvecolor based on 16S rRNA sequence analysis.
