        방한 중국인의 의료관광 선택속성에 관한 실무자 조사연구

        연구목적: 본 연구는 중국인 대상 의료관광의 활성화를 위하여 실무자를 중심으로 중국인 의료관광객의 방한 의료관광 선태속성에 대해 구체적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 실무자는 의료관련종사자(의료진, 의료관광코디네이터, 병원직원)와 관광관련종사자(학계, 관광공공기관 의료관광부서, 중국인 인바운드 여행업 종사자)로 세분하여 보다 섬세하게 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 설계 및 방법론: FGI를 통해 방한 중국인 의료관광객의 선택속성을 도출하였고 속성 간 중요도의 차이를 파악하기 위하여 실무자를 대상으로 한 2차 쌍대비교 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 4개의 상위 선택속성 중에는 의료인프라 및 서비스가 최우선 속성으로 밝혀졌으며, 18개의 하위항목 간 전체순위에서는 우수한 의료기술, 의료 전/후 원격관리제도, 의료기관의 중국어 서비스, 의료비자제도 및 체류의 제도적 환경, 진료 목적과의 적합성이 상위 5개의 항목으로 측정되었다. 분석 및 연구 결과: 실무자의 직종에 따른 우선순위의 경향성에 대한 분석에서는 의료분야와 관광분야로 나누어 살펴보았을 때, 의료분야 실무자는 의료기술의 경쟁력을 최우선으로 꼽은데 반해, 관광분야 전문가는 정책/제도적 측면을 우선시 하여 차이를 보였다. 시사점 및 연구의 한계점: 본 연구는 의료관광의 선택속성을 접근함에 있어 중국이라는 한국가에 초점을 두고 분야 실무자의 의견을 비교ㆍ분석 하였다는 데에 의미를 가진다. 향후 연구방향: 향후 연구들은 보다 다양한 지역적 배경과 다수의 전문가 분야별 의견을 반영하거나, 의료 종목별선호도에 대한 차이와 그 이유를 심층적으로 분석할 수 있기를 기대한다. 공헌점: 본 연구는 의료관광의 선택속성 조사에 있어 쌍대분석을 통해 섬세한 차이를 관찰하고자 시도하였다는 점에 차별성을 가진다. Purpose: This study examines different attributes of medical tourism in Korea focusing on Chinese tourists, in order to identify the prior attributes of Korea's medical tourism industry. Design/methodology/approach: The attributes are classified hierarchically by importance, according to the evaluation of medical tourism experts, such as doctors, travel agents, administrative staffs of hospitals etc. Applying the pair-wise comparison by relative weight, this study attempted to observe the prior contributing factors for Korean medical tourism. Results/findings: Calculating the relative importance of the main items, medical 'infrastructure and service' turned out to have the highest priority, followed by 'competitiveness of medical treatments', 'institutions and policy assistances' and lastly 'connectivity with regions'. Also it turned out that medical and tourism experts have different perspectives evaluating the importance of the different attributes. Tourism experts such as public officials from tourism organizations, Chinese inbound travel agencies and tourism researchers, regarded 'institutions and policy assistances' as the most important attribute, whereas medical experts from private clinics and hospitals valued' competitiveness of medical treatments' as the highest attribute. Research implications/limitations: This study is conceptually meaningful in presenting the precise evaluation of Chinese medical tourism in Korea. Further, it also adds practical information on Korea's medical tourism by adding field experts' remarks. Future work/ research: Future study could shed light by adding different regional and medical treatment analyses. Originality/value: This study is exclusively valuable regarding applying pairwise comparison (AHP) for a specific market orientated toward medical tourism.

        In this study, a fundamental study of biomass gasification was conducted in a tube furnace. Syngas compositions and gas yield are monitored as a function of time with different temperature and steam to biomass ratio. Syngas is mainly composed of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and methane. The gasification process can be separated in devolatization and char gasification, and syngas production is highly influenced by the gasification temperature and steam amount. Adding steam enhances the char gasification and hydrogen yield is significantly affected by the steam and gasification temperature.

        압출성형처리에 의한 강황의 화학적 특성 및 색소 안정성 변화

        본 연구에서는 압출성형 처리에 의한 강황의 화학적 특성과 쿠쿠미노이드 색소의 안정성을 분석하였다. 강황을 150℃에서 스크루 속도를 500, 1,000, 1,300, 1,600 rpm 으로 달리하여 압출성형하고 infusion시료와 에탄올 추출물을 제조하였다. 물로 infusion한 시료의 수율은 대조군의 21.3%에서 1,300 rpm 시료에서 27.5%까지 증가하였다. 압출성형 후 강황의 색도는 처리 전과 비교하여 명도가 감소하였고, 갈색도는 증가하였다. HPLC 분석 결과, 쿠쿠미노이드의 함량은 스크루 회전 속도에 따라 유의적으로 감소하여 1,600 rpm 압출성형 강황에서는 약 70%가량 감소하였으나, 3가지 쿠쿠미노이드의 감소 정도에는 큰 차이가 없었다. 압출성형 후 강황 추출물의 단백질, 폴리페놀, 플라보노이드 함량은 처리전과 비교하여 유의적인 감소를 보였고, DPPH와 ABTS라디칼 제거 활성 또한 현저히 약화되었다. 본 연구 결과는 압출성형 과정 중의 고온과 고압으로 인하여 강황의 색소성분을 포함한 생리활성 성분이 파괴되며, 보다 적절한 강황 압출성형 조건에 대한 연구가 필요함을 시사한다. Various health benefits of turmeric have been reported. Therefore, an innovative application of turmeric as a functional food was explored. In the current study, effects of an extrusion process on the chemical properties and antioxidant activities of turmeric were investigated. Extrusion of turmeric was performed at 150℃ using screw revolution speeds of 500, 1,000, 1,300, and 1,600 rpm. A significant reduction in turmeric pigments and the formation of browning compounds occurred due to the extrusion. The degradation of pigments was proportional to the increase in screw speed. Infusion yields were significantly increased after the extrusion. The content of proteins and polyphenols, as well as the content of flavonoids in infusions and EtOH extracts were significantly reduced by the extrusion. Scavenging activities of turmeric against DPPH and ABTS radicals were also significantly reduced following the extrusion. These results indicate that the extrusion process caused a significant loss of pigments and decreased the antioxidant activities of turmeric. Therefore, further study related to the development of a proper extrusion process is to be needed.

        염, 당, 산 침지조건에서 심황색소의 추출특성 및 화학적 특성 변화

        Turmeric pigments have been used as coloring agents and functional ingredients. In this study, the extraction property and chemical stability of the pigments were evaluated in several preservative solutions containing NaCl, sucrose, and acetic acid. After 72 h of infusion, the protein and polyphenol levels and antioxidant activity of the turmeric extracts in the solutions were less pronounced than those in water. Acetic acid (12%) was more efficient at extracting curcuminoids from turmeric than water, NaCl (20%), or sucrose (25%). Curcumin was highly abundant in all solutions. The relative yield of bisdemethoxycurcumin (BMC) was the highest in acetic acid, whereas that of curcumin was highest in NaCl and sucrose solutions. Curcuminoids were relatively stable in sucrose and acetic acid; among them, BMC had the highest stability. The stability of the curcuminoid solution decreased based on the increase in NaCl content, whereas it was significantly enhanced in sucrose and acetic acid. The observations from this study can be applied to the processing and storage of turmeric-derived products in these preservative agents.

        Cellular uptake of anthocyanins extracted from black soybean, grape, and purple sweet potato using INT-407 cells

        This study combined in vitro digestion and INT-407 cells to evaluate the bioaccessibility of anthocyanins inthe small intestinal epithelial cells. Black soybean, grape,and purple sweet potato were chosen as they have a differentanthocyanin composition. After the aqueous extractwas digested under in vitro gastric and intestinal conditions,the digested mixture was incubated in the media ofINT-407 for 2 h at 37 C. Low proportion (\0.3%) ofanthocyanins in black soybean and grape passed throughcell membranes. Cyanidin-3-O-glucoside and pelargonidin-3-O-glucoside in black soybean and cyanidin-3-O-(6-O-p-coumaroyl)-5-O-diglucoside and delphinidin-3-O-(6-O-p-coumaroyl)-5-O-diglucoside in grape were foundinside the cell. However, acylated anthocyanins containingthree sugar moieties in purple sweet potato were notdetected inside the cell. p-Coumaric acid was detected inthe cells incubated with grape, but not in the media. Theseindicate that chemical structure of anthocyanins affectedtheir cellular uptake and antioxidant activity in INT-407cells.

        In this study, development procedure of a pilot-scale dual fluidized bed gasifier for biomass will be presented. To get a design parameter and optimum operating conditions of a pilot-scale gasifier, detailed experiments were conducted in a lab-scale bubbling fluidized bed gasifier and a cold flow model. Characteristics of syngas was investigated in a lab-scale gasifier as a function of bed temperature and steam/biomass ratio, and hydrodynamic of a dual fluidized bed was investigated in a cold flow model. A preliminary result of a pilot-scale gasifier will be also presented.

        Woodchip, a carbon neutral fuel, is one of the fastest growing renewable energy sources. Among many conversion methods to energy, gasification is the best way in terms of energy efficiency and various options for end use like heat, steam, electronics, gaseous and liquid fuel. In the gasification process of woodchip, tar treatment is very important to avoid any mechanical problems and to increase heating value of product gas. However, tar generation process is not fully understood yet. In this study, we investigated tar generation characteristics of woodchip in devolatization and char gasification process. We found that different kinds of tar was generated in the devolatization and gasification process. The effects of temperature and steam amount are also studied.
