Supply of green car is increasing all over the world from oil-shock and environmental regulation implementation. So, customers are more interested in it. However they are easily overlooked feature of Green car that is different from internal combustion engine. Especially, Green car is using motor to generator when slowing down the car. At this time, there is occurring electric energy. It is charged to battery we call it regenerative braking. But it is difficult for people understanding the regenerative braking"s principle. Regenerative braking simulator can be using to people knowing the regenerative braking functions. After spinning the inertia mass which is using by in-wheel motor, it can be operating four types of automatic and passivity mode. It is developed to easily understand by people the braking time and correlation of regenerative braking.

In this study, fuel economy characteristics of several HEVs was tested and compared to the conventional vehicles using vairous driving cycles such as FTP-75, HWFET, US06, SC03. Also, variations of environmental conditions such as A/C ON and inertia UP with normal FTP-75 mode was measured to analyse the influence of hybrid driving pattern. Qualified existing domestic fuel economy compared to the test that applies to the FTP-75mode at high speed, high load driving, driving conditions, such as air conditioning in cars compared to conventional internal combustion engine vehicle tended to stand out. In addtion, mileage and fuel consumption for the VOLT called as Plug-in hybrid car were conducted to compare the results as divided into a condition for the test mode of the electric energy sector and hybrid driving.
