Outdoor Air Cooling offers a variety benefit as to decrease outdoor air loads and cooling energy consumptions. This study conduct in to establish outdoor air intake control strategy and to analyze cooling demand period in the high-rise residential buildings for evaluation of applicability of outdoor air cooling using the heat recovery ventilation system. As a result of simulation, approximately, applied outdoor air cooling control, cooling demand period decreases 12 percent during one year.

Usually, Indoor thermal environment is controlled by temperature with wall mounted thermostat. Indoor temperature control could not be provided the thermal comfort at all the time because thermal comfort is influenced by many parameters of environment such as temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, activity level, clothing insulation and radiant temperature. The purpose of this study is that predicted mean vote(PMV) would be available as index as control parameter. And, Thermal comfort is evaluated both PMV control and temperature control by simulation and several cases were compared, in which the set-point temperature range of between 22℃ and 24℃ and, set-point PMV index through the respective heating season in the simulation. The results show that PMV control is better to maintain human comfort condition and to save the energy than ordinary set-point temperature. It is time to foster a comfortable indoor environment, while minimizing the energy consumption of building systems. The thermal comfort provides satisfaction of thermal environment and affects productivity of occupants in residential building.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the energy consumption of university buildings according to the HVac system type. In order to evaluate energy consumption, the target building was modeled using EnergyPlus and then simulated to compare energy consumption. As a result of comparing energy consumption, it was found that the energy consumption of conventional AHU systems was 14.5% less than that of VRF systems. Further research is needed by reviewing the detailed input conditions of the system.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the energy saving effect when the Independent Room Control Ventilation system is applied in residential buildings. Based on statistical data, the occupants schedule was prepared and converted into a ventilation schedule for each room. Energy Plus was used to analyze energy consumption. As a result, compared to the continuous ventilation system operated at 0.5ACH when operating with individual room control ventilation system, annual heating energy was saved 11.6% and annual cooling energy was saved 3.4%. Carbon emissions were reduced by 13.7%.
유전알고리즘을 이용한 중앙공조시스템 냉수배관계의 최적제어 방법

This paper suggests the real-time optimal control method of central air-conditioning system using chilled water. The control variables for optimization are differential pressure of the pump and the supply chilled water temperature supplied to the air conditioning system produced from the central chiller. The optimal control variables of the control point are calculated using genetic algorithm in one-hour time step. The objective function of algorithm was the energy consumption of the HVAC system, and the energy consumption was calculated using the mathematical model. The results of the operation of the normal mode under the initial design conditions and the optimal operation mode with the optimal control variables were evaluated by comparing the energy consumption of the HVAC system with the variation of the control volume at the control point selected in this study. As a result, the chilled water supply temperature of the chilled water loop was operated by changing between approximately 9℃ and the differential pressure of the pump between 34.87 ㎪ and 78.91 kPa for the optimal control method. The total energy consumption of the HVAC system during optimal control operation was reduced by 16.98% compared to operation of the normal mode.
다층신경망 모델에서 데이터 전처리 과정을 이용한 업무용 건물의 냉방부하 예측 성능 향상 방법

Accurate load prediction of buildings helps HVAC system efficient operation. In this study, a multilayer neural network was used to predict the cooling load of the building. Data pre-process was used to increase prediction accuracy. As a result, the CvRMES of the prediction model using general data improved in accuracy from 31.38% to 28.19% after pre-process. MBE of predictive models using general data improved accuracy from 13.85% to 8.44% and 31.38% to 28.19% after pre-process. The prediction model using data pre-processing showed more accurate prediction accuracy, and the deviation of the results was also smaller.
