        감식초를 활용한 기능성 음료로서의 혈중 지질 농도 감소와 운동기능성 증대 가능성 검토

        감식초의 섭취가 지질대사와 글리코겐저장 능력향상 및 기능성음료로서의 가능성을 검토하였다. 본 연구는 6주령 SD계 수컷 흰쥐 32마리를 대상으로 CONT(고지방식이 대조군), ACON(고지방식이+증류수 투여), PV2.5(고지방식이+감식초 2.5배 희석), PV5.0(고지방식이+감식초 5배 희석)으로 구분하였다. 각 집단간 체중에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 복강내지방, 고환지방에서는 PV2.5군과 PV5.0군에서 유의하게 낮게 나타났다. 혈액성분변화에서 글루코스는 유의한 차이가 없었으며, TC, LDL-C, TG에서 PV2.5군과 PV5.0군이 유의하게 낮았고, HDL-C은 PV2.5군에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 근육과 간의 글리코겐 함량에서는 PV2.5군과 PV5.0군에서 유의하게 높은 저장량을 나타내었다. 이상의 결과 감식초의 섭취는 혈중 지질 억제와 함께 운동시 필요한 글리코겐의 저장능력을 향상시켜 운동수행능력이 증가할 수 있음을 시사하고 있어 다양한 접근이 가능한 기능성 음료서의 가능성을 제시하고 있다. This study was performed to find out the persimmon vinegar as a functional drink on reducing blood lipids and enhancing exercise performance. For these, thirty two Sprague-Dawley male rats were divided into 4 groups; control (CONT), water placebo with high fat diet control (ACON), high fat diet with 2.5 times diluted persimmon vinegar ingestion (PV2.5), and high fat diet with 5.0 times diluted persimmon vinegar ingestion (PV5.0). Body weight was not different. Abdominal fat pads were statistically reduced in PV2.5 and PV5.0 compared to CONT and ACON. Blood glucose was not significant but TC, LDL-C and TG were lower in PV2.5 and PV5.0 than other groups, and HDL-C in PV2.5 was the highest among groups. Glycogen contents in the muscle and liver were higher in PV2.5 and PV5.0 compared to CONT and ACON. These results suggested that persimmon vinegar ingestion may inhibit the blood lipids increase and increase glycogen storage which possibly enhancing exercise performance. Therefore, persimmon vinegar has the possibility as the functional drink.

        인삼녹엽 추출물 투여와 자발적 운동 수행에 대한 에너지대사 연구

        The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of ginseng green leaf extract and voluntary exercise performance on metabolic substrate. To achieve this purpose, 28 male mice were selected to ingestion ginseng green leaf extract and let voluntary exercise for 4 weeks. Compared to normal diet control group body weight gain ratio was significantly decreased in the voluntary exercise group, ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion group, ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion and voluntary exercise group. For the change of AMPK, AKT, Glut2, Glut4 capacity, AMPK, AKT showed significantly high activeness in the ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion, ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion and voluntary exercise group and Glut2 in the ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion and voluntary exercise group. Compared to each group Glut4 express activity was significant. Therefore, the result showed that specific medicinal ingredients which the ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion worked, proposing positive result for the functionality of ginseng green leafs. In this finding, Tstudy would be of help to provide basic data of exercise supplements as the ginseng green leaf extract ingestion gives positive effect on the energy storage capacity.

      • 웨이트사이클링시 산양삼 혼입숙성 감식초 섭취에 의한 지질대사 변화

        본 연구에서는 체중의 증량과 감량이 지속되는 웨이트사이클링이 유발되었을 때 4년근 산양삼을 4년간 숙성된 감식초에 혼입하여 숙성된 산양삼 감식초를 쥐에게 경구투여 함으로서 나타나는 지질대사의 변화를 알아보았다. 산양삼 감식초를 필터에 정제하여 2.5배와 5배로 희석한 후 4주간 섭취시켰다. 집단은 일반대조군, 웨이트사이클링 대조군, 산양삼 감식초 2.5배 희석군, 산양삼 감식초 5.0배 희석군으로 구분하였다. 분석은 지질대사 관련 단백질 발현량을 알아보기 위하여 AMPK, PPAR-α, FABP, CPT-1, UCP-2를 분석하였다. 우선 AMPK, PPAR-α, FABP, CPT-1, UCP-2는 일반대조군, 웨이트 사이클링 대조군에 비하여 산양삼 감식초의 희석비율과 관계없이 2.5배, 5.0배 희석군 모두 유의하게 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 체중의 증량과 감량이 반복적으로 이루어지는 웨이트사이클링이 유발되는 경우에, 산양삼 감식초는 지질대사 증가와 함께 체열생산을 유발하는 단백질의 발현을 효과적으로 증가시켜 항비만식품으로 활용이 가능할 것이라 생각된다. In this study, four-year-old Mountain-cultivated ginseng ripened into four-year-matured persimmon vinegar by oral administration to rats and examined changes in lipid metabolism during weight cycling( Yo-Yo phenomena). The fusion material was filtered and then ingested for 4 weeks with diluted 2.5-fold and 5.0-fold. The normal control group(NCON), weight cycling control group(WCON), 2.5-fold diluted fusion material group(2.5 MPV), 5.0-fold diluted fusion material group(5.0 MPV). In order to examine lipid metabolism-associated proteins, the expression level of AMPK, PPAR-α, FABP, CPT-1, UCP-2 was analyzed. First, AMPK, PPAR-α, FABP, CPT-1, UCP-2 compared with the NCON and WCON, regardless of the dilution ratio of the fusion material, 2.5-fold, 5.0-fold dilution was significantly increased in all groups. These results suggested that four-year-old mountain-cultivated ginseng ripened into four-year-matured persimmon vinegar might be used as anti-obesity food by increasing lipid metabolism during weight cycling.

        청국장 분말 섭취와 운동이 혈중 지질농도 및 SOD활성과 MDA함량에 미치는 영향

        With the reported fact that chungkukjang(CKJ), made from fermented beans, has thrombolysis ability, suppression of blood pressure increase, anti-mutability, anti-cancer and anti-tumor action, and also the bean-fermented food has high anti-oxidative activity. In there point of views, chungkukjang power was used as the supplement itself. Thirty two rats were divided into normal(CON) normal+exercise(CON-EX), chungkukjang(CKJ), chungkukjang+exercise(CKJ-EX) were sub-group, respectively. Effect of exercise performance and CKJ diet intake for five weeks on improvement of blood lipid and SOD, MDA of male rats. Body weight has decreased with lowered total fat amount in both CKJ diet and exercise group, and CKJ diet intake resulted in significanttly TG concentration but did not have significance on TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, SOD activity in liver was significantly increased in both CKJ diet and exercise group, but they did not have significant effect on MDA amount in liver and SOD activity and MDA amount in gastrocnemius muscle. It is concluded, therefore, that having both CKJ intake and exercise for a long period has positive effect on blood lipid and SOD, MDA.

        C2C12 근육모세포와 전기자극에 따른 FNDC5/irisin pathway 기전 연구

        The tThe this study, we attempted to investigate the effects of EPS (Electrical Pulse Stimulation) the C2C12 cell line composed of mouse skeletal muscle cells. The experimental group was divided into -Electrical pulses stimulation (CON), Low Electrical pulses stimulation (L-EPS), High Electrical pulses stimulation (H-EPS), electrical impulse was introduced to the differentiated C2C12 myotubes for four days under the condition of high intensity 14V/mm, 50Hz, 1ms, low intensity 0.3 V/mm, 1.0 Hz, and 4.0 ms. Then, the C2C12 cell’s morphological change was analyzed along with changes in the cell length, and western blot analysis was conducted on the protein expressed from the C2C12 cell. The C2C12 cell line, composed of the mouse skeletal muscle cells, was stimulated through EPS after its differentiation. The expression of PPAR-γ was significantly higher in the H-EPS group, and the results of PGC-1α, FNDC5, and irisin showed statistically significant differences between each group, and the L-EPS group treated with electrical stimulation compared to the CON group, the H-EPS group showed significantly higher activity. It is thought that the increase in muscle PGC-1α, FNDC 5, and Irisin, which are browning factors for fat, after electrical stimulation will lead to an increase in UCP-1, PPAR-γ, PRDC 16, and FABP-4 in fat tissue, that is, the intensity of exercise. Accordingly, by presenting positive results in the muscle factor among fat browning factors, based on this, it is possible to establish factors such as increased utilization of energy metabolism, anti-obesity, and metabolic syndrome through research on physiological mechanisms in relation to various exercise intensities and methods.

      • 산양삼 혼입숙성 감식초 섭취에 의한 지질대사 변화

        그라비올라 음용과 수영 운동이 체중 및 혈중지질에 미치는 영향

        This study aimed to investigate the effects of graviola Ingestion and swimming exercise on body weight and blood lipid during the consumption of a high-fat diet. Forty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed a high-fat diet and graviola Ingestion and were subjected to swimming exercise for 6 weeks. The swimming group and the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion+swimming group showed significant weight loss. In terms of the food intake amount a significant decrease in food intake amount and a significant increase in dietary efficiency was observed in the high-fat diet group. The high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion+swimming group consumed a significantly large amount of graviola. Blood lipid content analysis showed the following: a significantly low TG content and high HDL-C content in the swimming group; and a significantly low LDL-C content in the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion group and the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion+swimming group. Therefore, the result showed that specific medicinal ingredients which the graviola ingestion worked, proposing positive result for the functionality of graviola. In this finding, various studies on the physiological agents possessed by graviola are expected to have a positive effect on anti-obesity and improvement of blood lipids.

        수영운동과 솔잎분말 첨가식이 섭취 흰쥐의 L-FABP, CPT-1의 발현량과 항비만에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine how a pine needle powder-added diet and swimming exercise influence fat metabolism and inflammatory cytokine in a high cholesterol diet. 42 male Sprague-Dawley rats were made to practice a pine needle powder-added diet and swimming exercise along with a high cholesterol diet for six weeks. The HCE and the HCPEN showed significant decrease in their weight in the sixth week, and according to the results of dispersion analysis, it was found to be significant in the group × week. About the change of intake in the diet, the HC and HCE were found to be significant high, and according to the results of dispersion analysis, it was not significant in the group × week and regarding diet efficiency, the EX, HCPN, and HCPNE were found to be significant high. About the change of fat, abdominal fat was significantly high in the HC and HCPN, and testicle fat was significantly high in the HC, and mesenteric fat did not indicate significant difference. According to the results of fat metabolism, regarding the change of L-FABP expression in liver tissues, the CON and EX indicated a significantly higher expression compared to each of the other groups, and CPT-1 expression did not show significant difference. herefore, according to the results of this study, reduction in weight, body fat, and blood lipids led by the exercise and pine needle powder-added diet activated AMPK and the acceleration of PPAR-γ, FABP, and CPT-1 as the result of the exercise, and this led to the regulation of fat metabolism. Moreover, regarding the results of pine needle powder intake in the diet, pharmacological compounds contained in pine needles such as phenols and flavonoids are thought to influence fat metabolism positively. This author deems that the results of this study provide foundational material regarding the influence of exercise and pine needle powder-added diet’s complex treatment on anti-obesity improvements.

        인삼녹엽 추출물 투여와 자발적 운동이 염증성 사이토카인 및 항세포사멸인자 발현에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of ginseng green leaf extract and voluntary exercise on inflammatory cytokine and anti-apoptosis expresses. To achieve this purpose, 28 male rats were selected to ingestion ginseng green leaf extract and let voluntary exercise for 4 weeks. Compared to normal diet control group, ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion group, voluntary exercise group, ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion and voluntary exercise group TNF-α concentration was no showed significantly, NF-κB concentration respectively group was no showed significantly. For the change of apoptosis, p53 no showed significantly and Bcl-2 showed significantly high activeness in the ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion and voluntary exercise group and cleaved caspase-3/caspase-3 was significantly decreased in the control group, ginseng green leaf extracts ingestion and voluntary exercise group significantly decreased . Therefore, the results suggest that immune function and apoptosis is improved by ginseng green leaf extract ingestion and/or exercise training that may inhibit the anti-inflammation and anti-apoptosis process effectively increasing antioxidant capacity in rats. In this finding, various researches on the physiological agents which the ginseng green leafs possesses would give positive effect as a exercise functional food.

        고지방식이 섭취시 그라비올라 음용과 수영 운동이 지방대사 및 장내미생물에 미치는 영향

        This study aimed to investigate the effects of graviola Ingestion and swimming exercise on lipid metabolism and gut microbiome during the consumption of a high-fat diet. Forty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed a high-fat diet and graviola Ingestion and were subjected to swimming exercise for 6 weeks. In terms of the food intake amount and dietary efficiency, a significant decrease in food intake amount and a significant increase in dietary efficiency was observed in the high-fat diet group. Analysis of lipid metabolism showed that PPAR-α expression was significantly high in the normal diet and the swimming groups and AMPK expression was significantly high in the swimming, the high-fat diet+swimming, and the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion groups. Furthermore, L-FABP expression in liver tissues was significantly high in the swimming and the high-fat diet+exercise group, and CPT-1 expression was significantly high in the normal diet group. With regard to fecal Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes, a significant increase was seen in the abundance of Bacteroidetes in the normal diet, the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion, and the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion group+swimming groups, and a significant increase in the abundance of Firmicutes was seen in the normal diet, the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion, and the high-fat diet+graviola Ingestion+swimming groups. Together, the findings of this study concerning regular exercise and graviola Ingestion indicate the effects of various medicinal ingredients contained in graviola. Furthermore, this study demonstrates positive results on graviola functionality; although mechanism underlying this graviola functionality has not been elucidated, this study and its findings are expected to have a positive influence in laying the groundwork for future studies on biologically active substances present in graviola and its application as a functional food.
