스마트알림장을 활용한 다문화가정 영아 어머니와 교사의 의사소통 탐구

본 연구는 유아교육기관 전용 커뮤니케이션 앱인 스마트알림장을 활용한 다문화가정 영아 어머니-교사 간 의사소통 경험을 살펴봄으로써, 다문화가정과 유아교육기관의 보다 원활한 소통과 교류를 도모하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 관찰 및 면담을 중심으로 하는 질적 연구방법을 적용하여, 어린이집에서 스마트알림장을 활용한 다문화가정 영아 어머니와 교사 간 의사소통 경험이 어떠한 맥락과 특성으로 나타나는지 탐구하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 교사와 다문화가정 어머니 간 스마트알림장 활용이 나타나는 주요 소통 맥락은, 영아의 기본생활지도, 언어발달 및 사회관계 지원, 교사-다문화가정 어머니의 신뢰 강화, 한국문화 및 기관 운영시스템의 이해 증진, 교육과정의 원활한 참여 촉진을 위한 맥락으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사와 다문화가정 영아 어머니 간 스마트알림장 활용에서 나타난 주요 특성은 다양한 표현방법이 공존하는 개방적 소통, 자연스럽게 이어지는 양방향 소통, 기관-가정 연계 강화를 통한 영아와의 의사소통 촉진, 가족 구성원의 의사소통 참여기회 확대, 스마트알림장에 대한 한계로 나타났다. 본 연구는 언어적, 문화적 차이로 인해 유아교육기관과의 소통에 어려움이 있는 다문화가정의 양육지원을 위해 다양한 소통기능을 지닌 스마트알림장에 주목하고, 이를 활용한 다문화가정 어머니-교사 간 의사소통에 대한 실제적 경험과 구체적 정보를 제공했다는 데에 그 의의가 있다. This study is intended to provide basic resources for communication and exchange between multi-cultural families and children education institutes by comprehending communication experiences between mothers of infant and teachers through smart advice note, which is a widely used application exclusively for children education institutes. For this, the qualitative research method that focuses on observation and interviews was applied to find out what contexts and characteristics the communication experiences between mothers and teachers show when the smart advice notes are used in daycare centers. The result shows that first, the main communication contexts that using smart advice notes indicates are for basic guidance of infant"s life, speech development, supporting socialization, improvement of trust relationship between teachers and mothers, improvement of understanding Korean culture and institute operation system and smooth participation in curriculum. Second, the main characteristics of using smart advice notes between teachers and mothers include open communication where various expression methods coexist, mutual communication that is connected naturally, promotion of communication with children through reinforcement of bond between institute and family, expansion of communication participation opportunities among family members and limit of smart advice notes.
