In this paper, the power transfer efficiency analysis based on the resonant repeater in a magnetic resonance wireless power transfer system is proposed. The efficiency of the magnetic resonance method was verified by comparing the general frequency with the resonance frequency. The resonance repeater was arranged to increase the efficiency and increase the transfer distance. When using resonant repeaters, the maximum efficiency increase is about 36.23[%] and the transfer distance was extended to more than 20[cm]. Through this study, confirmed the effect of using resonance repeaters in wireless power transfer system. As a result, it can be expected that the overall technology related to wireless power transfer system will be more valuable for energy-IT technology.

Bus bars are used in place of cables because they can carry more electrical energy with the same volume of conductors. This paper deals with the electrical properties of ceramic coating material for busbars. A ceramic coated samples were prepared for the electrical properties test. There are two types of samples. One is a sample without degradation, and the other is a sample degraded for 30 days. Four electrical properties tests were carried out in accordance with domestic standards. Four electrical characteristics tests are AC dielectric breakdown, V-t, lighting impulse dielectric breakdown, and discharge arc. Both samples showed excellent electrical properties, and the ceramic coating material is very good insulating materials for bus bar.

This paper introduces experimental investigates of an accident pattern for the distributing XLPE cable terminations considering PL law environment. The influence of defects such as thickness and length decrease of XLPE, the impurity on XLPE and the gap between stress-con of housing and semi-conductor on insulating properties of the termination have been studied. The thickness and length decrease of XLPE decrease ac breakdown strengths. Dielectric breakdown traces of XLPE that is damaged by knife displayed other shape. The gap of between housing and semiconductor deteriorates dielectric strength of XLPE seriously.

We show results that examine about electrical properties of XLPE insulated 6.6kV cable termination by mechanical damage. The cable used to produce the cable termination is 6/10㎸ tray XLPE fire retardant electric cable (6/10㎸ TFR-CV 35SQMM×1C) which is domestically made. We apply force to XLPE insulator and made mechanical defect using knife. Defected samples go through the withstand voltage test according to the IEEE std. 48 test regulations and lighting impulse (hereunder, IMP) withstand voltage test regulations. Then the effects of the scars shown during the construction process on electric accidents at the end part are analyzed.

We analyzed the correlation between breakdown voltage(BDV) of liquid nitrogen(LN2) and factors. The chosen factors affecting the breakdown are the diameter of electrode, gap length, temperature of LN2, and pressure of LN2. The BDV of LN2 was increased with increasing the diameter, the gap length and the pressure. And The BDV of LN2 was increased with decreasing the temperature. However, correlation coefficient was different from each other depending on the situation. The BDV exhibited a very high correlation coefficient of 0.92227 to dependence on the diameter. And a very high correlation coefficient of 0.94980 to dependence on the pressure under sphere(D 7.5 mm)-plane electrode. When the pressure is applied, sphere-plane electrode is the correlation coefficient was higher than that of the needle-plane electrode. It shows the dependence of a temperature coefficient of -0.758290 ~ -0.39946 under needle-plane electrode.

In this paper, we study the insulating properties of the liquid nitrogen(LN2) including the thermal bubbles. The shape of the thermal bubbles in accordance with the current change was observed in the 77 K and 65 K LN2. According to the temperature of liquid nitrogen, bubbles were generated differently. The round shape of the bubble is occurred in 77 K LN2. But the layer shape of bubble is occurred in 65 K LN2. When the bubbles present, the dielectric strength of liquid nitrogen is low. However, the breakdown patterns were different according to the electrode arrangement. AC breakdown voltage(BDV) was lower than the DC BDV due to the influence of bubbles. Therefore, the design of a high-voltage superconducting equipments should consider the bubbles.

This paper deals with the thermal and mechanical properties of ceramic coating material for bus bars. A ceramic coated samples were prepared for the mechanical properties test. There are two types of samples. One is a square shape and the other is a busbar shape. Each sample was deteriorated for 30 days to compare the thermal and mechanical properties with the non-degraded samples. Two thermal properties tests are TGA and flammability tests, and four mechanical properties tests are drop impact test, cross cut, tensile test, and bend test. The ceramic coating material was never damaged by impact and did not separate from aluminum in the cross cut test. In the tensile test, the breakage of the insulating material did not occur until aluminum fractured, and the breakage of the insulating material did not occur until the maximum load in the bending test. The decomposition temperature (melting point) of the ceramic coating material was higher than that of other epoxy insulators. This ceramic coating material is nonflammable and it has excellent fire stability.
