High-temperature fire-resistant materials are required to enhance the fire-related safety of high story buildings. In this study, the thermal protection performance of protective textiles was evaluated, and these materials were based on silica fabrics coated with silicon resins of different formulations. The fabrics with larger coating thickness had higher $t_{12}$ and HTI values, as expectedly. In addition to the positive effect seen after vermiculite addition, the addition of aerogels in to the coating resin improved substantially the fire-proofing performance, even in very small amounts. However, the small additions to the resin caused a rapid rise in resin viscosity and caused spreading problems on the silica fabrics. Therefore, toluene was required as a solvent. All coated samples showed very high thermal stability with very small volume decreases even at temperatures as high as $900^{\circ}C$. The coated silica fabrics with silicon resin are expected to be used as screen shutters in the case of fire.

드레이프성은 의복의 외관을 결정하는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 그런데, 실제 의복을 착의하는 경우를 고려한다면, 정지된 상태보다는 자유공간에서 동적으로 움직이는 상태의 드레이프 특성의 평가 또한 매우 중요할 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 따라서 본 연구에서는 조건을 달리하여 제직한 면직물을 이용하여/ 정적·동적 드레이프 특성을 평가하고, 이를 직물의 구조인자 및 각종 역학특성과 비교분석하였다. 그 결과, 직물구조인자에 따라 드레이프 계수가 변화하였으며, 동적 드레이프 계수는 회전속도가 증가함에따라 wave arc가 넓어지고 원심력에 의해 wave crest 부분이 펼쳐지면서 드레이프 계수가 큰 증가를 나타내었다. 드레이프 특성과 상관성이 높게 나타난 역학특성은 굽힘특성과 전단특성이었으며, 각각의 경우 정적 드레이프 계수와의 상관성이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 반면에 고속회전시에는 동적 드레이프 계수와의 상관성은 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다.

Drape is the one of the important factors influencing to the aesthetics and functionality of fabrics. In this study, the behaviours of the static and dynamic drape of woven fabrics for Saeng-hwal Hanbok have been analyzed according to the fabric structural parameters such as the weft density and weave structure. The static drape properties have effects on the bending properties and shear properties. And also the dynamic drape coefficients have great effects on the bending properties and shear properties at the lower speed of dynamic drape speed. But there is less effect at (with) the higher speed of dynamic drape tester.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze and discuss the influence of the mechanical properties and structural parameters of the cotton fabrics for Saeng-hawl Hanbok to the sew-ability and TAV(Total Appearance Value). The cotton fabrics for Saeng-hawl Hanbok were woven in several conditions , such as yarn count, cloth density and weave. The mechanical properties of the cotton fabrics for Saeng-hawl Hanbok had been evaluated by KES-F System. And the sewability and TAV(Total Appearance Value) of the woven fabrics for Saeng-hawl Hanbok had been calculated from mechanical properties of fabrics by using developed equation by Kawabata. And then, the sew-ability and TAV(Total Appearance Value) of the woven fabrics for Saeng-hawl Hanbok have been analyzed according to the fabric structural parameters, such as, yarn count, cloth density and weave structure. According to the obtained results, the TAV and sew-ability increased with the increase of weft yarn count and decreased with the increase of cloth density. And the TAV and sew-ability of satin fabrics were shown as the highest values.
