        홍삼과 백삼의 비교연구 2 . 홍삼과 백삼이 육용추의 혈액상과 간조직에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was carried out to compare the effects of White and Red Ginseng on the blood picture and liver tissue of cockerels. Wale cockerels of Cobb strain were randomly allocated into five levels of White and Red Ginseng groups (0.25, 0.5., 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0g per 1㎏ of body weight respectively) and control group. Each lot was composed of 10 cockerels. At the end of preliminary feeding for one week, Ginseng was fad for six weeks. Blood picture was observed three times during the experiment. Liver tissue of each group was compared after 9 weeks of feeding. 1. The number of the red blood corpuscule (RBC) of treated chicken was increased as the experimental period was proceeded. The number of RBC of Red Ginseng group was higher than that of White Ginseng group. Red Ginseng was seemed to be more effective in RBC forming ability compared to White Ginseng. 2. There was no statistical significance in white blood corpuscule number between the groups. However, the lympocyte number of Red Ginseng and White Ginseng groups was about 2% higher than that of control group. It has shown that Red and White Ginseng stimulated antidisease activity. 3. There was no effect on the hemoglobin and hematocrit values, when Ren and White Ginseng were fed. 4. Red and White Ginseng stimulated fission, regeneration, the density of liner tissue and liver function. Red Ginseng was more effective than White Ginseng in these aspects.

        동물발육에 미치는 녹용의 효과에 관한 연구 제2보 녹용의 투여가 병아리의 장기발육과 혈액상에 미치는 영향

        This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of velvet on the growth of animal and obtain the basil data applying to the animal reproduction. Velvet was fed to broiler chicken to observe weight gain, feed efficiency, growth of internal organs, blood picture, testis tissue and comparision of both sex. The results obtained were summarized as follows. 1. Male was superior to female in weight gain and feed efficiency. 2. The growth of testis, thymus and heart of treated lots were showed significantly higher than those of control lots, and heart, lung and kidney were showed significant difference between male and female. 3. Comparing in histological view of testis at 8 weeks age, treated lots showed proliferation on spermatocyte, and more prolificacy on primary spermatocyte than control lots, and formed secondary spermatocyte but sperm was not formed. Regulation tendency was not observed in erythrocyte number, but treated lots showed significantly higher Hb content and hematocrit than those of control lots. As the time progressed, Hb content of treated lots was increased till 4 weeks age, and hematocrit was increased till 6 weeks, bur they were decreased after 4 and 6 weeks age, respectively.

        동물발육에 미치는 녹용의 효과에 관한 연구 제3보 녹용의 투여가 종계의 조정능력에 미치는 영향

        To study the effect of antler on spermatogenesis, six cocks were administrated six times with 1.5g of antler per each cock, and other six cocks were allocated as the control group. The quality of the semen ejaculated at the interval of 72, 48, 24, 12, 6, 3, 1 hour and the testicular tissue were observed. 1. The amount of ejaculated semen, the number of sperm, the viablility of sperm, methylene blue reduction time and fertilization rate were increased in the antler administrated group compared with the control group. 2. Spermatogenesis was more active in the antler administrated group than in the control group when the testicular tissue were compared between two groups.

        동물의 발육에 미치는 녹용의 효과에 관한 연구 제1보 녹용의 투여수준이 병아리의 증체량 , 사료요구율 및 장기발육에 미치는 영향

        THIS experiment was performed to study on the effect of the growth and health of animal. Weight gain, feed efficiency and growth condition of internal organs of broiler and its resulting economical utility were investigated in this experiment of feeding velvet to broiler chicken. Three hundred chicken were applied to this experiment the treatment plots were divided 5 groups; T₁ (1cc of 0.375% velvet solution per chick), T₂(2cc), T₃(5cc), T₄(20cc), and the control (no velvet solution). The results obtained were as follows. 1. The plot which was treated with velet showed much more weight gain than the control (P$lt;0.01), and feeding velvet caused a useful effect en the feed efficiency and growth of internal organs. 2. Weight gain was high in the plot of T3, and T2, feed efficiency was high in order T1, T2 and T3. The plot of T1 was more economical than those of T3 and T2, so the use of adequate level of velvet was from 1 to 5cc. 3. It seemed that velvet improved the function of secretion of testosteron and sperm formation, because the growth testicle was promoted at the plots of T2, T1 and T3. As the velvet had a tendency of inhibition from growing thyroid at the plots of T3, T2 and T1, the metabolism was controlled by it, and the accumulation of nutritive substance was promoted The growth of the organs showed little difference in each treatment.

        닭의 정자원성과 정자에 관한 전자현미경적 연구

        Testes from the domestic fowl have been examined by the electron microscopy in thin sections in order to observe the spermiogenesis and the structure of spermatozoa. The spermiogenesis can be divided into three stages: early spermatid, nuclear elongation, and matured spermatid. The inner membrane of mitochondria shows a markedly increased thickness compared to the outer membrane during the final steps of the spermiogenesis. The distal centriole composed of cylindrically shaped wall has been observed since the nuclear elongation stage. There are two cross sections of the nucleus in one spermatid cell owing to the curved long head. The acrosome of the matured spermatozoa is composed of the acrosomal cap and the acrosomal spine and there is no fibrous sheath around the axial filament complex in the principal piece.

        홍삼과 백삼의 비교연구(Ⅰ) : 홍삼과 백삼이 육용추의 발육에 미치는 영향

        To compare the effects of red Ginseng and white Ginseng on the growth of experimental animals, both Ginseng were given to Broiler male chicken. Red and white Ginseng were administered to Broiler chicken in doses of 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4g per ㎏ weight of chicken. The increase in weight were 282g in red Ginseng group and 162g in white Ginseng group compared with control group. The increase of the feeding amounts per ㎏ weight were 2.4㎏ for red Ginseng group, 2.67㎏ for white Ginseng group and 2.87㎏ for non-treated group. The growth of each organ in the red Ginseng group showed favorable increase trend than white Ginseng group as a whole and, particularly, considerable significance were observed in liver and brain. These results suggest that red Ginseng has better effect on the growth of chicken and organ than white Ginseng does.

        LCA 기법을 활용한 스마트폰의 잠재적 환경영향평가

        제조공정이 기술 집약적인 반면 제품 수명이 짧아 다량으로 버려지는 스마트폰의 환경영향에 관심이 커지고 있다. 이 연구에서는 전과정평가 기법을 기반으로 스마트폰의 다양한 환경영향을 정량적으로 분석, 평가하였다. ISO 14040 시리즈 표준에 의거한 전과정평가를 수행하였고, 스마트폰의 제조전, 제조, 유통, 사용 및 폐기를 포함하는 전과정 단계를 시스템경계에 포함하였다. 평가한 10개 환경영향범주 모두에서 제조전단계가 가장 큰 환경영향을 나타내었다. 지구온난화 영향은 제조전단계, 유통단계, 사용단계, 제조단계, 폐기단계경우 각각 52.6%, 23.9%, 15.7%, 7.0% 및 0.8% 이었다. 스마트폰 제조전단계의 부품별 환경영향은 PCB, 배터리, 디스플레이 모듈 순이었다. 따라서 스마트폰의 전과정 환경영향 저감을 위해서는 스마트폰 소형/경량화를 통해 자원사용량을 줄이고, 자원순환성을 높일 수 있는 친환경 소재를 적용하여 제조전단계의 환경영향을 줄이려는 노력이 필요하다. Environmental concern about smart phone is growing because it has short product life span while having intensive production technology and cost. In this study environmental impact of the smart phone is quantified using the LCA methodology based on the ISO 14040 series standards. The assessment considers potential environmental impacts across the whole life cycle of the smart phone including; pre-manufacturing; manufacturing; distribution; product use; and end-of-life stages. The pre-manufacturing stage is the most dominant life cycle stage causing the highest environmental impacts among all 10 impact categories assessed. The global warming impacts of the smart phone in the pre-manufacturing, distribution, use, manufacturing, and end-of-life stages were 52.6% 23.9%, 15.7%, 7.0%, and 0.8%, respectively. Sensitivity of the life cycle impact assessment results to the system boundary definition and assumptions made were quite high. Three components of the smart phone, PCB, battery, and display module were identified as the key components causing majority of the potential environmental impact in the pre-manufacturing stage. As such the slim and light-weight design and the use of environmental friendly materials are important design factors for reducing the environmental impact of the smart phone.

        한우의 정자완성과 정자의 미세구조에 관한 전자현미경적연구

        In order to investigate the spermiogenesis and the structure of the Korean cattle spermatozoa, the tissue obtained from the testis and the epididymis of six matured bull were conventionary prepared as thin sections and these sections were observed under a transmission electron microscope. Based on the development of the various permanent organelles and certain transient structures, the spermiogenesis of the Korean cattle could be divided into four main phases: Golgi, cap, acrosome and maturation; and these phases had been further subdivided into a total of nine stages. In the maturation phase, the condensation of the nuclear karyoplasm had progressed from the upper side to the lower side of the nucleus as the movement of the nuclear ring which would be disappeared after maturation. The equatorial segment between the acrosome and the postacrosomal dense lamina of the head was not observed. The number of neck plates in the column, 18-30, seemd to be smaller than other reported animals.
