모노리드 촉매전환장치의 운행조건 및 모노리드 설계변수의 변화에 따른 정상상태 response를 수학적 모델을 이용해 모사하였다. 모델에서는 탄화수소의 촉매반응 및 기상균일반응을 함께 고려하였으며 담체의 열전도성도 포함하였다. 가스의 높은 유입온도와 농도 및 낮은 유입속도에서 높은 전환율을 얻을 수 있었으며, channel밀도가 큰 금속 모노리드가 세라믹보다 성능이 우수하였다. 또한 channel의 크기와 모양이 전환율 및 온도분포에 중요한 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 모노리드 channel내의 물질의 분포를 여러가지로 변화시켜 본 결과 열변형력을 적게 받는 담체의 온도분포를 얻을 수 있었으며 촉매물질의 전환에 따른 촉매전환장치의 성능변화도 검토하였다. The steady state response of a monolith catalytic converter to changes in operating conditions and monolith design parameters has been examined on the basis of a mathematical model. The model considers both catalytic and gas phase homogeneous reactions of a hydrocarbon and allow for axial conduction of heat in the solid substrate. Higher inlet temperatures and concentrations, and lower gas velocities are shown to result in higher conversion efficiencies. Metallic monoliths, having higher channel density offer superior performance to ceramics, and channel size and shape had significant influence on conversion and temperature profiles along the monolith channel. A proper choice of catalyst distribution along the monolith axial diniension resulted in a solid temperature profile subjected to less thermal stress. The possible effect of changes in calalytic material on the overall converter performance has been also examined.

Positioning, navigation, and timing information has become a key element in the national core infrastructure and for emerging technologies, such as autonomous driving, lunar exploration, financial systems, and drones. Therefore, the provision of that information by navigation satellite systems is becoming increasingly important. Existing systems such as GPS (Global Positioning System), GLONASS (GLObal NAvigation Satellite System), and BDS (BeiDou Navigation Satellite System) also provide augmentation, safety-of-life, search & rescue and short message communication and authentication services to increase their competitiveness. Those services and the signals generated for their provision have their own purpose and requirements. This article presents an overview of existing or planned satellite navigation satellite system services and signals, aiming to help understand their current status.

This study deals with the improvement of production process on a flow production system with the consideration of six sigma. We analyze the production process and survey the important factors of improvement of productivity. Using a six sigma, we find strategic point and suggest a reformation of production process. We applied a simulation technique to simulate the production line proposed by the result of the Six sigma. With the result of the simulation, this study analyzes the propriety of production line and proposes the alternatives of new production process.
