Piles transmit loads from the superstructure to competent soil layers. The Length of pile, installation method of pile, ways transferring the load to the soil, and materials of pile can vary greatly. Pile foundation have increased greatly together with industrial development and, construction of large structures, etc. Among pile foundations, H-pile can be used variously because the axial or horizontal bearing capacity, pile driving penetration, transportation and usage, material price, etc. In this study, measured and predicted values are compared with bearing capacity measured by H-pile load tests and traditional methods and then, reliability-based evaluation analysis is conducted with safety factor.
