Road noise is becoming more and more important factor in improving customer satisfaction and is not an easy task because of difficulty of compatibility with various performances such as handling, ride comfort and rolling resistance. Vibration properties of suspension system including tire and wheel have a great effect on the vehicle interior noise. Therefore, it is necessary for tire developers to get a knowledge how tire is coupled with suspension in the specific frequency range. Finite element models considering a tire and suspension system have been generally constructed by using spring, damper and concentrated mass elements for the numerical analysis in the low frequency ranges. In this study, the assembly of tire/wheel and suspension system was fully modeled by using continuum elements in order to analyze the coupled dynamic characteristics up to the middle frequency ranges. This finite element model considering the relationship between tire/wheel and suspension system seems to make it effective to predict their dynamic characteristics.

This study describes a new method of constructing Reconfigurable machine tools configurations from a set of modules or components. This proposed method defines combinability vector for each module and mutual combinability coefficient matrix for adjacent two modules. All of machine configurations possible to be generated from any two adjacent modules can be determined by quadratic form of two associated combinability vectors. Furthermore, all of possible RMT configurations generating from a series of multiple modules also can be obtained by multiplying quadratic form of two adjacent conbinability vectors recursively. Our proposed RMT configuration generating method can be successfully applied to determining all of possible machine configurations from several modules or components at conceptual- or preliminary- design stage.

This paper proposes a new method to generate feasible machine tool configurations of Modular-Reconfigurable Machine Tool in the preliminary design stage. Proposed method includes the constructing configurations and its machining ability check. Our method defines module posture vector for each module and mutual connectivity coefficient matrix for adjacent two modules. All of machine configurations possible to be generated from any two combined modules can be determined by quadratic form of two associated posture vectors. Furthermore, all of possible machine tool configurations generating from a series of multiple modules also can be obtained by multiplying quadratic form of two adjacent posture vectors consecutively. To construct the feasible machine configurations using given modules, we defined geometric constructing rules in consideration of the functions and configurations of each module. And, to select the useful machine configurations, we checked the machining ability using the directivity between tool and cutting plane for all the generated machine configurations. Finally, we applied proposed method to generating configuration problem of 3-axes milling machine using 7 modules(spindle table, bed, column, 3-translational slides).

북한은 "18년 4월 27일 제1차 남북정상회담 이후 ‘풍계리 핵실험장 폐기’ 선언을 하고 꼭 한 달 뒤인 "18년 5월 26일 제2차 남북정상회담 이후 남북 관계에 평화의 바람이 부는 듯하다. 하지만 지난 "17년에 6차 핵실험을 실시했으며, 핵탄두를 장착한 여러 종류의 핵미사일의 실전배치를 목전에 두고 있는 것으로 추정하고 있다. 또한 화학 및 생물학무기와 WMD를 투발할 수 있는 1,000여기의 전략·전술 미사일을 보유하고 있는 것 또한 사실이다. 이처럼 현재 북한의 WMD 위협은 한반도 전역을 위한 군사작전과 나아가 전 세계와 동북아 평화유지를 위해 반드시 제거되어야 할 장애물이다. 이에 한·미 당국은 북한의 WMD 문제와 관련하여 다양한 방법으로 대응책을 모색하고 있다. 한국은 천안함 사건 이후 PSI 전면참여를 결정하고 "10년 10월 13~14일 부산 앞 남해상 일대에서 15개 주요국이 참가한 가운데 최초 한국 주도의 연합 PSI 훈련을 실시하였다. 이는 한국이 북한의 WMD 확산 및 제 3국으로의 유출을 국제공조를 통해 공식적으로 차단하겠다는 의지를 천명한 것이며, 동시에 북한의 WMD에 대한 한·미의 확고한 군사적 대응의지를 보여 주는 것으로 풀이된다. 또한 우리 군은 북한의 WMD 위협에 대응하기 위해 작전계획 발전, 한·미 연합훈련 실시, 작전수행절차 연구 등의 노력을 실시하고 있다. 하지만 WMD대응과 관련하여 WMD 제거작전 위주로 발전이 되어 『WMD 확산 차단』을 수행해 하는데 어려움이 따르고 있다. 이에 『WMD 확산 차단』에 대한 개념을 정립하고 작전 단계별 수행개념을 제시해 차후 『WMD 확산 차단』을 연구시 개략적인 방향을 제시하고, 임무수행을 위한 여건을 보장하고자 한다. Pyeongyang has conducted the sixth nuclear test in 2017, and it is estimated that several missiles equipped with nuclear warhead are on the verge of deployment. It also has 1,000 strategic and tactical missiles capable of delivering chemical and biological weapons and WMDs. Thus, the current WMD threats of north Korea is a obstacle that must be eliminated not only for military action purpose in the entire korean peninsula but also for the preservation of peace in Northeast Asia. Accordingly, South Korean and U.S. authorities have been looking for countermeasures in various ways related to north Korea"s WMD issues. South Korea decided to participate in the PSI after the Cheonan incident and conducted the first South Korean-led combined PSI training on October 13 and 14, 2010 with 15 major countries participating in the southern sea in front of Busan. The action can be seen as South Korea"s declaration of willingness to officially block north Korea"s WMD outflow to third countries and proliferation through international cooperation, and at the same time this demonstrate that Seoul"s and Washington"s willingness to take firm military action against Pyeongyang"s WMDs. Furthermore, our military is making various efforts such as developing operational plans, conducting combined exercise with U.S., researching operational procedures, and so forth to counter against north Korea"s WMD threats. However, there are some difficulties remained in implementing "the interdiction of WMD proliferation" since the countermeasures for WMD has been mostly focused around the WMD elimination operations. Therefore, I would like to set up the concept of "the interdiction of WMD proliferation" and suggest operational concept for each operational level so that following studies on "the interdiction of WMD proliferation" can be provided with a rough direction and a condition for mission performance.

3D 패턴드 타이어에 대한 정상 상태 롤링 해석 기법 적용

The steady state rolling analysis method in relation to tire analysis has been often used for the research of tire rolling performance because of the efficiency of computation time. But, this has a limit that meshes in the section have to be the same along the circumferential direction, so can not consider 3D pattern. That is, as above reason, this has been used for performance research in relation to only tire structure factors without 3D pattern until now. However, from now, it is possible to analyze in consideration of 3D pattern due to F.E. code development recently. So, in this study, we have examined the application of rolling performance research of 3D patterned tire using steady state rolling analysis implementing ABAQUS Release 6.6. We have analyzed the PRAT in relation to vehicle pull, cornering stiffness in relation to steering response, the footprint shape and F&M in the cornering state, and compared with test results.
