        한국에서 뒷부리장다리물떼새 (Recurvirostra avosetta)의 첫 번식 사례 보고

        2018년 6월 22일 전라북도 군산시 새만금 매립지에서 뒷부리장다리물떼새(Recurvirostra avosetta)의 번식을 확인하였다. 번식장소는 인위적으로 조성된 간척습지였으며, 이소한 유조 4개체가 성조와 함께 지속적으로 행동하는 것이 관찰되었다. 이는 국내에서 최초 번식기록이며, 극동아시아에서 뒷부리장다리물떼새의 최남단 번식에 해당한다. On 22 June 2018, we observed the breeding of the Pied avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) at landfill sites in Saemangeum, Jeollabuk-do Province. The breeding ground was a temporary swamp, and four juvenile were constantly observed with adult bird. This observation is the first breeding record of Pied avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) in Korea.

        초등학교에서 동물복지교육 실태 분석 및 활성화 방안 연구

        Societal concerns regarding animal rights and welfare are rising. In response to this social phenomenon, educators should consider incorporating animal welfare education into public education. To explore new educational approaches to animal welfare, topics related to animal welfare in the 2015 revised curriculum were carefully analyzed. Teachers’ awareness on this issue was also evaluated in order to apply appropriate methods of animal welfare education in elementary education. The study found some contents of the 2015 revised curriculum that presented specific examples of animal welfare. Science units including Life Cycle of Animals, The World of Animals, Ecosystem and Environment introduced animal welfare. Other subjects of the curriculum also implemented the concepts of animal welfare. On the other hand, current teachers were aware of the need of animal welfare education, however the lack of systematic training prevents them from producing maximum effect of the current education. Therefore, a systematic training for teachers must be established, and an innovative approach to the new curriculum must be taken.

        초등 예비교사의 과학 교수에 대한 태도 조사

        The purpose of this study was to investigate pre-service elementary teachers' attitudes towards science teaching using 'Dimensions of Attitude Toward the Teaching of Science (DAS)'. After confirming the factors and reliabilities of the translated questionnaire by pilot test (N=68), the survey was administered online at one national university of education in Korea (N=527). The pre-service teachers generally thought elementary science education is important and did not believe gender difference in students and in teachers. Science education majors than other majors, males than females, and those who completed high school science track than humanity track had more positive attitudes toward science teaching in elementary school. The extent of teacher education curriculum completion had a little effect on the pre-service teachers' attitudes toward science teaching. The implications for teacher education were discussed.

        초등학생의 곤충에 대한 태도와 인식 조사

        This study was performed to elementary school students perception about insects and arranged knowledge about insects, the concept of an insect leg structure, and kinds of insects of sixth grade elementary school students. The results showed that, there were 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th grade science textbooks had teaching programs or knowledges about insects in 8 chapter. The students` attitudes for insects was showed a positive attitude about the positive aspects and ecological aspects but, showed a somewhat negative attitude about the natural aspects and scientific aspects. In comparison by gender, attitude of the male students was positive than female students. but generally the attitude for insects of sixth grade students was somewhat negative. Students were recognized correctly as much as treated and familiar insects including textbooks and curriculums.

        3차원 준설물량 산출을 위한 최적의 입력DB 구축방안

        최근 해양구조물의 건설과 간척지의 개발이 활발히 이루어짐에 따라 해안 구조물 시공 및 간척지 개발 시 필요한 준설작업은 중요 사업으로 대두되고 있다. 이에 보다 정확하고 정량적인 준설물량의 예측과 산출이 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 해저 지층정보는 시추조사를 통하여 지점별 1차원 지층 정보를 얻는 것이 일반적이며, 준설물량은 시추조사를 통하여 얻어진 종결심도나 두께를 토대로 3차원 지반 정보화 프로그램을 활용하여 산출하게 된다. 이 과정에서 대상 지역 특정 지층의 2차원적 종결심도를 결정하기 위해 1차원적인 시추공 데이터들을 공간보간한 입력DB를 구축해야 한다. 입력DB는 시추공 활용 여부와 공간보간하는 대상에 따라 구축방안이 상이하다. 따라서 본 연구는 대표적인 간척지 지역인 새만금지역과 군산외항 앞바다의 시추공 데이터를 활용하여 입력DB 구축 방안에 따른 지층의 3차원 가시화 및 정량적인 준설물량을 비교분석하였다. 그 결과 지층의 두께를 공간보간한 구축 방안이 두 지역 모두 정밀도가 높았고 3차원 가시화 결과도 잘 나타났다. The dredging project became more important with the recent construction of off shore structures and reclamation projects. Accordingly, more exact quantitative estimation of the dredged amount should be required. The sub-sea ground information can be obtained generally by the boring investigation and the dredged amount can be estimated based on the depth or the deeper bound of a ceratin layer via 3D visualization program. During the estimation process, the input DB should be constructed with 1D elevation information from boring investigation for the spatially approximated distribution of a deeper bound of each ground layer. The input DB can be varied with the application of the borings and the approximation targets. Therefore, the 3D visualized ground profile and dredged amounts are compared on the actively dredged sites, vicinity of Saemangeum area and outer port area in Gunsan with regard to the input DB construction methods. Conclusively, the input DB based on the spatially approximated depths show higher precision results and more reasonable 3D visualized ground profiles.
