최근 국내외에서 지하철 공사현장 가스폭발, 지하 공동구 화재, 지하가 화재 폭발 등 지하공간에서의 사고가 다수 발생하고 있다. 이러한 사고는 재산의 손실 뿐 아니라 전력, 통신망 마비로 도시기능을 무력화시키고, 인명 피해의 대형화를 동반함으로서 도시민의 안전을 위협하고 있다. 따라서 지하공간 중 지하가의 사고 사례와 문헌 연구 및 실태를 조사, 검토하고, 운영 관리 단계에서 위험 요인을 도출하여 안전대책의 평가요소 및 화재예방평가 시스템을 제시하고자 한다. A large number of accidents at an underground place have been happening, including the gas explosion under construction of subway, the fires of underground utility and underground shopping malls, and other explosion, at home and abroad recently. These accidents make the function of a city ineffective due to the paralyses of electricity and communications net as well as the loss of property, and cause people to feel unsecured with accompaniment of a heavy of toll of lives. This study suggests safety assessment items and fire protection assessment technique for underground shopping malls by extracting dangerous elements in the management stage through examination of related accidents, documents and present conditions.

It is a tendency for enterprises in the domestic construction field to harness the system scaffolding with an aim to securing safety, despite slight increase in terms of the construction cost. Nevertheless, given that putting the system into service in reality is not accurately surveyed by far and that safety standards and methods for safe work therewith are not yet established, hazardous factors involving the system scaffolding remain latent leaving unrecognized. In this regard, the current study attempts to understand the status of implementation and use of the system scaffolding in the local construction sites as for the year 2009 and the year 2013 through questionnaire surveying and in-depth interviewing, while further proposing, based on the result thereof, ways for activating introduction of the system scaffolding in an effective and systematic manner.
연속적인 회전력으로 작동하는 휴대폰 힌지기구의 윤곽 설계에 관한 연구

A total stroke of an opening or closing motion of a hinge mechanism for a folder-type mobile phone is composed of two portions. In the fIrst portion, human fingers act a torque to open or close the folder. In this portion, the rotating folder compresses the coil spring installed in the hinge mechanism. In the last portion, this compressed coil spring generates a torque to rotate the folder. In this study, we have developed an algorithm to design a hinge mechanism to be operated by an arbitrary continuous torque in the first portion of the total stroke. Consequently, we can design hinge mechanisms that satisfy various demands of consumers. A pair of contours installed in the mechanism plays an important role. It transforms the folder's rotational motion into translation to compress the coil spring in the first portion; on the other hand, it transforms translational motion into the folder's rotation in the last portion. Using this algorithm we have designed the pair of the contour curves operated by an arbitrary continuous torque.
건설폐기물 분리매립 및 생활폐기물과의 혼합매립에 의한 매립가스 발생 특성

Landfill gas (LFG) generation characteristics in a construction waste landfill zone (block E) and mixed landfill zone(block A) were analyzed. During the period from October 2018 to April 2022, a total of 936×10³ and 1,001×10³ tons of waste were disposed in block E and block A, respectively. Out of this, 27.1% and 55.6% were biodegradable waste in block E and block A, respectively. The landfill masses of the two blocks were converted to be comparable. Then, the biodegradable waste and organic carbon were estimated by element analysis, biodegradable carbon by biochemical methane potential experiment (DC), and sulfate ion by acid decomposition. Results showed that biodegradable waste, organic carbon, biodegradable carbon, and sulfate ions in block A were 2.1, 1.6, 5.2, and 0.4 times greater than those in block E, respectively. The amount of LFG generated by block A was 4.8 times greater than that by block E. The average concentrations of methane (CH₄) were 60.8% and 60.9% in block E and block A, respectively, which were unrelated to the nature of disposed waste. The average concentrations of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) were significantly high in block E (4,489 ppm) and block A (8,478 ppm). As the DC/SO₄<SUP>2-</SUP> of block E and block A were 0.35 and 4.56, respectively, increase in DC/SO₄<SUP>2-</SUP> caused increase in not only the total amount but also the concentration of H₂S generated.

There are insufficient models that find problems and solutions for accident prevention through risk assessment and suggest safe work process and work instruction from foundation works to finish work for accident decrease. This paper presents a quantitative risk assessment model by analysis of risk factors in each process such as earth works, drainage works, pavement works, appurtenant works and etc based on accident examples and investigation on actual condition in roads construction work, In addition, the safety management system was developed to perform risk assessment of construction and use it for effective safety training for labor.
