        중환자간호를 위한 기계 환기 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호 대학생의 비판적 사고 성향, 임상수행능력, 의사소통 능력 및 교육 만족도에 미치는 융복합적 효과

        본 연구의 목적은 중환자간호를 위한 기계 환기 시뮬레이션 교육 적용 전과 후 간호 대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 임상수행능력, 의사소통 능력 및 교육 만족도에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 단일군 사전-사후 설계이다. 간호 대학생 4학년 32명을 대상으로 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, paired t-test를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 시뮬레이션 교육 후 간호 대학생의 비판적 사고 성향(t=-5.26, p<.001), 임상수행능력(t=-22.27, p<.001), 의사소통 능력(t=-9.44, p<.001)은 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 시뮬레이션 후의 교육 만족도는 4.94점으로 높게 나타났다. 중환자간호를 위한 기계 환기 시뮬레이션 교육은 간호 대학생의 중환자간호 역량에 있어 효과적인 교수법임을 확인하였다. The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of mechanical ventilation simulation-based education on critical thinking disposition, clinical competence, communication competence, and educational satisfaction in nursing students. The study design was a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants in this study were 32 fourth-year nursing undergraduate students who attended in an university and completed the self-reported questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and paired t-test using the SPSS 23.0 program. As a results, critical thinking disposition (t=-5.26, p<.001), clinical competence (t=-22.27, p<.001), and communication competence (t=-9.44, p<.001) were significantly improved. In addition, the educational satisfaction after the simulation was high at 4.94. It was confirmed that mechanical ventilation simulation-based education could be an effective teaching method for nursing college students’ critical care nursing competency.

        문제중심학습을 적용한 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호 대학생의 그릿, 의사소통 능력 및 시뮬레이션 교육 만족도에 미치는 효과

        본 연구의 목적은 문제중심학습을 적용한 시뮬레이션 교육 적용 전과 후 간호 대학생의 그릿, 의사소통 능력 및 시뮬레이션 교육 만족도에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 사전-사후 설계이다. 연구대상자는 A시에 소재한 간호학과 재학생 4학년 42명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, x² test, Fisher’s exact test, paired t-test, independent t-test를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 시뮬레이션 교육 후 실험군의 그릿(t=-7.56, p<.001), 의사소통 능력(t=-26.02, p<.001), 시뮬레이션 교육 만족도(t=-22.99, p<.001)은 대조군보다 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 문제중심학습을 적용한 시뮬레이션 교육은 간호 대학생의 간호역량 향상에 효과적인 교수법임을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 토대로 간호 대학생의 역량을 향상시키기 위해 다양한 주제에서 문제중심학습을 적용한 시뮬레이션 교육 프로그램 개발 및 운영이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of simulation-based education by applying problem-based learning on grit, communication competence, and educational satisfaction in simulation of nursing students. The study design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The study participants consisted of 42 fourth-year nursing from the Department of Nursing in City A, and data were collected through self-reported questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 program. including frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, x² test, Fisher’s exact test, paired t-test, and independent t-test The results of the study showed that after simulation education, the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements in grit (t=-7.56, p<.001), communication skills (t=-26.02, p<.001), and satisfaction with simulation education (t=-22.99, p<.001) compared to the control group. The application of problem-based learning in simulation education was found to be an effective teaching method for enhancing nursing competencies among nursing college students. Therefore, based on this study, the development and implementation of simulation education programs incorporating problem-based learning in various topics are necessary to enhance the competencies of nursing college students.

        간호대학생의 문제중심학습을 활용한 수업 효과에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석

        Purpose: The objective of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to estimate the effectiveness of problem-based learning in developing student nurses’ critical thinking, problem solving, and self-directed learning. Methods: To conduct the meta-analysis, 1,963 studies were retrieved from eight databases (Pubmed, EMbase, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, KERIS, KISS, NDSL, KoreaMed) without restriction on publication year. Articles published up to March 2019 were selected for this study. Fourteen studies were selected for meta-analysis based on satisfaction of inclusion criteria and low risk of bias. Baseline demographic data, exercise features, and outcome data were extracted from all trials included. The data was analyzed using the RevMan 5.3 program. Results: Most studies were of low risk of bias. The pooled effect size showed problem-based learning was able to improve nursing students’ critical thinking (ES=0.29, 95% Cl=0.04~0.54, p=.002), problem solving (ES=0.39, 95% Cl=-0.09~0.87, p=.11), and self-directed learning (ES=0.35, 95% Cl=-0.22~0.91, p=.23) compared with traditional lectures. Conclusion: PBL help improve the critical thinking in nursing students. Although problem solving and self directed learning were not affected, more research with a larger sample size and repeated meta-analysis of PBL are required.

        시뮬레이션 교육에서 디브리핑 중재가 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과: 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석

        Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of debriefing interventions on clinical competence in nursing students. Methods: A systematic review with a meta-analysis was conducted. Korean and English studies were retrieved from eight databases: KERIS, KISS, KoreaMed, NDSL, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, EMbase, and PubMed through January 2022. Fifteen studies were selected for the meta-analysis based on the inclusion criteria and low risk of bias. The data was analyzed using RevMan 5.3. and R software 3.6.2. Results: Most studies had a low risk of bias. Debriefing intervention in simulation-based education were found to be significantly effective compared to the control groups on clinical competence(Hedges’g=1.06, 95% CI=0.73~1.39, p<.001). In addition, the length of the debriefing intervention influenced the heterogeneity in the meta-ANOVA. Conclusion: Debriefing intervention in simulation-based education help improve nursing students’ clinical competence in nursing students. Futhermore, our findings suggest that nursing educators should consider the length of debriefing for nursing students to improve their clinical competence.

        통증관리 교육이 일 노인요양병원 간호인력의 통증관리 지식과 태도에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of pain management education, which were conducted as part of the quality improvement project, on the knowledge and attitude toward pain management of nurses and certified caregivers. Methods: The research design was one group pre- and post-test design. The participants were 113 in total including 60 registered nurses and 53 certified caregivers in a long-term care hospital. The Korean Knowledge and Attitude Survey on Pain Management Scale (K-KASP) was measured a week prior to the education and a week after the education. Data were analyzed by paired t-test. Results: The Knowledge and attitude toward pain management were significantly improved between the pre- and post-test in both registered nurses (t=7.94, p<.001) and certified caregivers (t=4.25, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate the positive effects of pain management education on the knowledge and attitude toward pain management of both registered nurses and certified caregivers in a long-term care hospital. Further study is needed to empower pain management competencies of the nursing staff in long-term care hospitals.
