철도교통사고(railroad traffic accidents)는 열차 또는 차량의 운전에 의해 발생되는 열차사고(train accident), 건널목사고(level-crossing accident), 교통사상사고(traffic death and injury)로 구분되며 장기간 지속적 감소추세를 보이고 있다. 철도산업정보센터의 철도사고 통계자료를 활용하여 열차사고와 건널목사고의 발생빈도를 비교해보면 1990 년대 90%이상, 2000 년대 80%이상 건널목 사고빈도의 점유율이 높은 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 건널목사고의 시계열적 특성을 살펴보고 단기예측 및 계절적 특성에 대해 살펴보았다. 분석자료는 과거 20 년간 집계된 건널목 사고빈도자료를 이용하여 월별발생 빈도와 계절적 빈도자료로 활용하였다. 분석결과 사고빈도는 계절형발생 특성을 보이며, 단기적 큰 감소추세를 보이지 않는 것으로 나타났다. Railroad traffic accident consists of train accident, level-crossing accident, traffic death and injury accident caused by train or vehicle, and it is showing a continuous downward trend over a long period of time. As a result of the frequency comparison of train accidents and level-crossing accidents using the railway accident statistics data of Railway Industry Information Center, the share of train accident is over 90% in the 1990s and 80% in the 2000s more than the one of level-crossing accidents. In this study, we investigated time series characteristic and short-term prediction of railroad crossing, as well as seasonal characteristic. The analysis data has been accumulated over the past 20 years by using the frequency data of level-crossing accident, and was used as a frequency data per month and year. As a result of the analysis, the frequency of accident has the characteristics of the seasonal occurrence, and it doesn’t show the significant decreasing trend in a short-term.

A drawing technique which use only fine curves and dashed lines is widely adopted in banknotes and post stamps printing. Engraving of the curves and lines are traditionally performed by hand skill which provides low productivity in printing. As an effort for higher productivity and quality, a drawing automation method which can easily produce NC codes and drawings for a mechanical or chemical engraving is proposed. An initial work shows that it is possible to draw a portrait by contolling the width and length of predetermined fine lines according to the gray scale at the end points of each line. User interface functions of a commercial CAD system are heavily employed to exploit the presented method.
휠 세트 Yaw 운동을 고려한 바퀴와 선로 사이의 3차원 접촉 기하 해석

Dynamics of railway vehicles are strongly influenced by the wheel/rail contact forces. Wheel/rail contact geometric characteristics are important parameters to determining wheel/rail contact forces. In general, geometric relations between wheel and rail are represented by nonlinear functions of the wheelset lateral excursion and the relative yaw angle. There are some analytical and experimental studies to show the influences of the wheelset lateral displacement on wheel/rail geometric relations. Recently radial steering bogie which is designed to have flexible yaw motions of wheelsets was developed to improve curve negotiation performance. The radial steering bogie makes it important problem to study the effects of wheelset yaw motion on wheel/rail geometric relations. This paper describes the method to analyze 3-dimensional wheel/rail contact geometry considering wheelset yaw motion and describes also some computer simulation results.

Kyung-p-1 main line is characterized by its curves radii of which are considerably small. It is essential for running time reduction of train to improve capabilities of curve negotiation. This improvement can be achieved by designing a bogie with flexible suspension system. The effect of the improvement is mainly concerned in the primary yaw stiffness of bogie suspension. This paper gives a linear analysis for the motion of railway vehicle on curved track and gives also computer simulation results for Semaul Train. The results introduce a conclusion that the primary yaw stiffness of Semaul train is too rigid to be self-steering on Kyung-pu main line curves.

Many computer programs are being developed to aid the design of physical models. These efforts highlight the importance of computer model of three dimensional object. In this paper a CAD application program is introduced which can be implemented to modeling some part that composed with 3 types of surface form ; free form surface, fillt surface, surface of revolution, and a geometry description language which can represent a shape efficiently is preseneted.

The Primary object of this study is to predict rigid carbody's vertical and pitch acceleration and/or displacement frequency response to vertical sinusoidal rail surface irregularities for any specified point of the carbody, and to verify the predictions by means of experiments. The developed computer program also calculates vertical and pith transmissibilities and acceleration spectra. This model can be used for first order analysis of ride behabior. it's main advantage is its simplicity and ease of use. This model can be used for first order analysis of ride quality behabior. It's main advantage is its simplicity and ease of use. The model was designed with 6 degreed of freedom. Equations of motion were derived by Lagrangian method. This calculation was applied to the vertical dynamic analysis in order to pursue a possible improvement of the dynamic performance of co-co locomotive, and results were very useful.
로컬 그래픽 기능을 이용한 PADL - 2 시스템의 확장 및 ANVIL - 4000 시스템과의 인터페이스 프로그램 개발

본 논문에서는 CAD/CAM의 연구 및 응용기술 개발을 증진시키기 위하여 두개의 상용 소프트웨어인 PADL-2 시스템과 ANVIL-4000 시스템 같은 인터페이스 시키는 방법에 대해 중점 연구 하였다. 그리고 현재 보유중인 그래픽 터미널이 제공하지 못하는 ‘DRAW’와 ‘SHADE’의 기능을 보완하기 위하여 Tektronix 그래픽 터미널의 로컬 기능을 활용하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 또한 PADL-2의 형상을 다른 플러터 장치에 출력시키기 위한 인터페이스 프로그램도 제시한다. 본 연구를 통하여 서로 다른 소프트웨어라도 상호 연계 시킬 수 있는 가능성을 높였고, 또한 어떤 임의의 그래픽 터미널에서도 터미널 자체가 갖고 있는 그래픽 명령어만 알게되면 그래픽 라이브러리 프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 기술을 확보하였다.
