      • 家兎에 對한 放射線의 全身照射가 血液中의 脂質과 High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol에 미치는 效果

        가토에 500rad와 1,000rad의 방사선을 전신적으로 조사하여 경시적으로 혈청중 각종 지질분획과 high density loprotein cholresterol 함량을 조사하였으며 방사선에 대한 생체보호제인 GSH를 투여하여 혈청지질의 변동에 미치는 효과와 1,000rad의 방사선조시시의 생명연장 효과를 관찰하였다. 500rad의 방사선을 조사하였을 때는 24시간후에 약한 과지방혈증이 일어났으나 48시간후에는 정상으로 가까워졌다. 500rad의 방사선을 조사하고 GSH를 투여한 군에서는 지질분획의 변동은 GSH 비투여군과 큰 차이가 없었다. 1,000rad의 방사선을 조사하였을 때에는 24시간 후에 비교적 강한 과지방혈증이 일어났으며 48시간 후에 과지방혈증 상태가 지속하였으며 72시간 후에야 정상치로 가까워 졌다. 1,000rad 조사군에 GSH를 투여하였을 때는 생명연장 효과는 관찰되었으나 과지방혈증은 오히려 강하였고 지속시간도 길었다. High density loprotein cholresterol의 함량은 500rad의 방사선 조사군에서는 24시간 후에 대조군에 비하여 오히려 낮은 치를 보였고 72시간 후에 회복하였으며 500rad의 방사선조사와 GSH 투여를 실시한 군에서도 high density loprotein cholresterol 함량은 24시간 후에 낮았고 72시간 후에 정상치로 돌아왔다. 1,000rad 방사선조사군에서는 방사선조사 후 12시간에서 부터 high density loprotein cholresterol 함량은 이미 현저하게 저하된 치를 보였고 72시간 후에도 완전 회복되지는 못하였다. 1,000rad 방사선조사와 GSH 투여를 동시에 실시한 동물군에 있어서는 방사선조사후 12시간과 24시간의 high density loprotein cholresterol치는 1,000rad 방사선조사군과 같이 현저하게 낮았으나 48시간 후에는 회복되기 시작하였으며 72시간 후에도 낮은치를 나타내었으나 1,000rad 조사만의 GSH 비투여군에 비해서는 약간 높은치로서 정상치로의 회복이 빨랐다. 치사선량인 1,000rad를 전신조사한 5필의 가토는 방사선조사후 9일에서 12일 사이에 전부 죽었으나, 1,000rad의 방사선조사와 GSH를 투여한 실험동물군에서는 5필중 2필이 방사선 조사후 50일에도 생존하였다. This study was undertaken to determine the effects of whole body Co-60 irradiation of 500 and 1,000 rad on serum lipids and high density lipoprotein cholesterol in rabbits and in addition, to observe radioprotective activity, if any, of reduced glutathione (GSH). The blood samples were collected once before and 1/2, 4, 6, 12, 24. 48, 72 and 120 hours after irradiation. Mild hyper lipemia was observed 24 hours after irradiation in 500 rad irradiated group, however, the lipemia subsided in 45 hours. The lipid change of serum in 500 rad irradiation with GSH treated animals showed patterns of fluctuation similar to those of the non-GSH treated animal groups. When 1,000 rad irradiation was applied, hyperlipemia appeared to increase from the 6th hour of the irradiation to reach plateau. The plateau which began at the 24th hour lasted until the 48th hour after irradiation. From 72 hours after irradiation, the values of serum lipids returned to normal. The curve of hyperlipemia in animals received 1,000 rad irradiation with GSH showed more earlier rise and kept a longer plateau than non-GSH treated animals. The values of the serum high density lipoprotein cholesterol in 500 rad irradiated animals showed a mild decrease since the 24th hour and returned to the normal range at 72 hours after irradiation. Similar patterns were ovserved in 500 rad irradiation with GSH treated animals. In 1,000 rad irradiated animals, decreasing tendency of high density lipoprotein cholesterol was seen 12 hours after irradiation and continued up to 120 hours after irradiation. A similar decreasing pattern of high density lipoprotein cholesterol was observed in 1,000 rad irradiation with GSH treated animals but two of the five animals survived until the 50th experimental day in contrast to all death of 5 animals received 1,000 rad irradiation without GSH treatment within 12 days.

      • Ehrlich Ascites Carcinoma조직 추출물의 항암효과

        생쥐에 Ehrlich복수암(고형암)에 對한 autologous tumor immunization과 화학요법제인 5-Florouracil의 병합요법의 유효성을 검토하기 위하여, Ehrlich복수암세포의 세포막 추출물과 perchloric acid extracted residue를 만들고 생쥐에 이식 유발시킨 Ehrlich복수암(고형암)에 上記 세포막물질과 PER 그리고 前記物質 各各과 5-Fluorouracil병합요법을 실시하여 다음과 같은 성적을 얻었다. Ehlrich 복수암세포를 접종한 後 15일째 절취한 대조군의 암조직중량은 3.67gm이었으며, whole cell wall 투여군에서는 3.49gm, perchloric acid extracted residue, 투여時에 3.03gm으로써 대조군에 비하여 有意한 差를 볼 수 없었다. 5-Fluorouracil 단독투여군의 암조직중량은 3.44gm이었으며 whole cell wall과 5-Fluorouracil 병합치료군은 3.58gm으로서 역시 대조군에 비하여 有義差를 나타내지 않았다. 5-Fluorouracil과 perchloric acid extracted residue의 合倂치료군의 암조직 중량은 2.39gm으로서 대조군에 비하여 적었다. In order to determine the effects of allogeneic tumor immunization combined with 5-Fluorouracil, the whole cell wall fraction and perchloric acid extrac-ted residure of Ehrlich ascites cacinoma tissue were prepared and treated the Ehrlich ascites carcinoma(solid tumor) in mice to-gether with 5-Fluorouracil. Thirty-six mice were divided into 6 groups of 6 animals receiving whole cell wall and perchloric acid extracted residue of Ehrlich ascites carcinoma tissue, 5-Fluorouracil, whole cell wall+5-Fluorouracil, percholoric acid extracted residue+5-Fluorouracil and control. On the 15th day after cancer cell innoculation, all mice were killed. The solid tumor was carefully removed and weighted. The average weight of tumor was calculated in each group, and the results are shown below: Nontreated, 3.67gm; Whole cell wall, 3.49gm; Perchloric acid extracted residue, 3.03gm; 5-Fluorouracil 3.44gm; Whole cell wall+5-Fluorouracil treated; 3.58gm, Perchloric acid extracted residue+Fluorouracil 2.39gm. Combind treatment of perchloric acid extracted residue and 5-Fluorouracil showed effect in the solid type of Ehrlich ascites carcinoma.

      • 家兎에 對한 X-線 全身照射가 血液中의 Creatine phosphokinase活性에 미치는 效果

        4필의 가토에 900r의 X-선을 전신조사 하였으며 5필의 가토에는 이개 정맥 주위 조직에 18G 주사바늘로 간단한 상처를 준 후에 각 동물의 혈청을 경시적으로 채취하여 CPK 활성도를 조사하였다. X-선을 조사 후 1, 2, 5일의 혈청중 CPK활성은 대조군에 비하여 차이가 없었으나 이개 정맥에 상처를 준 동물에서는 상처를 일으킨 후 2시간에 대조군의 2배에 달하는 CPK활성을 보였으며 8시간에는 대조군의 CPK활성도에 비하여 5배에 달하는 활성도를 보였다. 그 후 서서히 저하하여 5일후에야 대조군 치로 돌아갔다. Activities of serum creatine phosphokinase (CPK; EC 2.7.3.2) in rabbits recieved 900 X-irradiation on the body and 5 rabbits suffered from needle injury around the ear vein were determined. No significant changes of CPK activities were observed after X-irradiation for one, two and five days. CPK activities of rabbits suffered from needle injury showed linear increase from 2 hours later and reached peak at 8 hours. CPK activity showed still higher than normal on 72 hours later and returned to normal limit on 5th day.

        Neonatal maturation에서 Deciduous Molar의 진단가치

        To know the correct gestational age of a neonate has an important clinical significance, because the mortality rate, some congenital anomaly and morbidity of a neonate have a joint correlation with it's gestational age. In order to have a objective and correct gestational age, we have studied tooth mineralization of 46 Korean neonates of known gestational age. All the 1st. deciduous molar appeared radiographically on 34 weeks of gestation or after. All the 2nd. deciduous molar appeared radiographically on 36 weeks of gestation or after.

        단순복부 X-선사진상 나타난 유리공기에 관한 고찰

        On the radiographic findings of simple abdomen, detection of free air in peritoneal cavity indicates a perforation of hollow viscus. In general, free air in abdomen indicate perforation of hollow viscus caused by various disease conditins, i.e. perforation of peptic ulter, ulcerating malignancy, colon diverticulitis and rupture of pneumatosis cystoides intestinal etc., or by trauma, however it can be rarely noticeable in the cases of intraabdominal infection with overgrowth of gas forming organisms. Eightyeight cases of free air in peritoneal cavity were analised during the period from July, 1970 to August, 1972 at Kyungpook National Univ. Hospital. As shown in the following tables, various clinical findings were analised ; overview of cases, causating factors and locationi of rupture, and it's seasonal preponderance.

      • 연의 교배조합이 종자 형성에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to gather the basic data on the breeding of new variety for the lotus plants. We have crossed 6 kinds of the lotus plants with 10 cross combinations, and have also examined into the effect of cross combination on the seed formation rate, the characteristics of seeds and lotus pips. The rate of lotus pip with the seed bearing were over 80.0%. Number of seeds bearing per lotus pip were 11.0 in a cross combination to 2.5-7.5 in the others. Seed formation rate were 22.1-68.4% in all combinations except for one cross combination by 91.7%. Seed fresh weight were 172 g over 1.05 g. Lotus seeds could be formed in all cross combinations. Consequently, it was considered that cross combination were useful for the breeding of the high quality variety.

      • 알루미늄합금(7075-T6)의 疲勞龜裂進展과 龜裂開口擧動에 關한 硏究

        After considering the influence of crack opening ratio reaching to fatigue crack propagation behavior in an Aluminum Alloy, the fatigue test is performed by the stress ratio and the variable of openinig measuring position. The main conclusions obtained are as follows: 1. In fatigue crack propagation, da/dN equal as the stress ratio in range of ΔK is increasing, the da/dN is higher, In case of relating to the ΔK_eff of crack opening ratio, the same value is showed regardless of stress ratio in all domain. 2. In case of using the effective stress intensity factor range, ΔK_eff considering the crack opening ratio to crack propagation estimation, it is reasonable that the measuring position of crack opening point ignoring various factor is measured at a distant from crack tip. 3. The variable ratio of effective stress intensity factor can be showem by the only R fo stress ratio in AI alloy (7075-T6) material.

        In clinical practice it is usually difficult to determine the dose precisely where on the out-side of central axis. We are usually use the tables of TAR, SA and Percent depth dose to obtain the depth dose in tissue. We assume the Pradtic center of beam and it can be taken maximum backscatter and TAR in all of the irregular shaped field. In mid-line block, the dosimetry occures a little different of BS and percent depth dose than overall field of small field.
