        Offset slotted 직사각형 마이크로스트립 패치안테나의 설계

        This paper proposed a method to design the offset slotted rectangular microstrip patch antenna which can be used for GPS antenna. The multi-port connection method and the desegmentation technique had been used to analyze the characteristics of this antenna. To reduce a size of this antenna, a dielectric substrate with a high permittivity(ε=10.2) was used and a offset rectangular slot was inserted in the microstrip patch antenna. The dimension of a manufactured antenna is 20×30×1.27[mm]. Accordingly this small antenna can be used directly GPS antenna or cellular phone. 이 논문은 GPS 안테나로 사용될 수 있는 Offset Slotted 직사각형 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나를 디자인하기 위한 기법을 제안하였다. 안테나 특성을 해석하기 위해 Multi-port connection 기법과 Desegmentation 기법을 사용하였고, 고유전율의(ε=10.2) 기판과 직사각형 슬롯을 이용하여 안테나의 사이즈를 줄일 수 있었다. 제작된 안테나의 치수는 20×30×1.27[mm]로 작은 사이즈이므로 GPS 안테나 또는 핸드폰에 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

        T형 Slot을 삽입한 삼각형 안테나

        This paper observed characteristics of a triangular microstrip patch antenna with T-slot. When a narrow horizontal slot or vertical slot is embedded in a triangular microstrip antenna, we investigated variations of dual resonant frequency according to slot lengths and then we could make a triangular microstrip antenna with T-type slot suitable to a very low dielectric substrate. The proposed antennas used a dielectric substrate which has relative dielectric constant and a height of 8 [mils] (=0.2032㎜) and antenna characteristics of horizontal or vertical slot antennas are compared by a ensemble 8.0 simulator. Theoretical and experimental results of manufactured antennas are compared. 본 논문에서는 T형 슬롯을 삽입한 정삼각형 패치 안테나의 특성을 관찰하였고, 정삼각형 패치 내부에 얇은 가로 또는 세로 슬롯을 삽입하였을 때, 슬롯의 변화에 따른 이중 공진 주파수의 변화를 관찰하여 유전체의 높이가 매우 낮은 기판에 적합한 T형 슬롯을 삽입한 정삼각형 패치 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 , 유전체의 높이가 8[mils] (=0.2032㎜)인 기판을 사용하였고, 비교된 가로와 세로 슬롯의 안테나의 특성은 앙상블8.0 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 비교하였으며, 제작된 안테나의 이론적, 실험적 결과들이 비교되었다.

        Unmet Needs of Breast Cancer Patients Relative to Survival Duration

        Purpose: The present study aims to evaluate the prevalence of unmet needs among breast cancer survivors, to assess the relationships between unmet needs and depression and quality of life, and to explore the extent to which unmet needs of breast cancer patients relate to the time elapsed since surgery. Materials and Methods: Among 1,250 eligible patients who participated in the study, 1,084 cases (86.7%) were used for analysis. Clinicopathological and social parameters were reviewed and the Supportive Care Needs Survey, Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast cancer instrument, and Beck Depression Inventory were administered. The frequency of unmet needs, the association between unmet needs and depression and/or quality of life (QOL) and the impact of the time elapsed since surgery on the patients’ unmet needs were analyzed. Results: The highest levels of unmet needs were found to be in the health system and information domain. Patients with a survival duration of less than 1 year since surgery showed significantly higher unmet needs in all need domains except the sexuality domain (p<0.001) than participants in the other groups. Patients with a survival duration of 1-3 years also experienced significantly higher psychological and information needs than long-term survivors (>5 years). In addition, unmet needs were significantly associated with depression (p<0.001) and QOL (p<0.001). Conclusion: The present study demonstrated that long-term breast cancer survivors had a significantly lower level of unmet needs than patients with survival duration of less than 3 years after surgery and patients with survival duration of less than 1 year since surgery suffered the greatest unmet needs. QOL might be enhanced if interventions are made for specific unmet needs of each patient group.

      • Toxoplasma gondii 感染이 鷄胎에 미치는 影響

        Toxoplasmosis is a protozoan infection of toxoplasma gondii. There were several anomalies of the fetus, abortion and premature labor by this infection during human pregnancy. This study was carried out to know the effects of this infection to the chick embryos. The results were as follows : 1. In the preliminary experiments, the 7th day chick embryos were all dead after Toxoplasma inoculation regardless of the number of organism. 2. In the main experiments, death of chick embryos during the developmental stages were increased in proportion to the dosage of Toxoplasma. 3. The numbers of alive chick embryos were decreased in proportion to the age of the embryo in the Toxoplasma 1,000-10,000 inoculated groups from the 13th day to 16th day experiments, but no relation among the Toxoplasma 100-500 inoculated groups. 4. Among the abnormal chickens due to Toplasmosis, author observed 4 anal prolapses (2.4%), 32 leg anomalies (19%) and one chicken with agensis of the left eye and twisted beak. 5. Chickens with leg anomalies were observed most frequently in the 15th day experiment by 14/36 (39%) chickens.

      • 3중 순차 회전 배열 마이크로스트립 안테나 설계

        본 논문에서는 3중(4+8+4-소자) 순차 회전 배열을 기본 부 배열로 하는 256-소자 순차 회전 배열 안테나를 설계하였다. 본 3중(4+8+4-소자) 순차 회전 배열 안테나는 3개의 동심 각으로 구성되어 있으며, 내각과 외각에는 각각 4개의 소자가, 중간 각에는 8개의 소자가 배열되어 있다. 안테나 이득을 극대로 하기 위하여 내각과 외각의 배열인자를 M=4, P=1로, 중간 각에는 M=8, P=1로 하였다. 제안하는 3중 (4+8+4)-소자 순차배열 안테나와 256-소자 순차 회전 배열 안테나에 대한 모의분석 및 실험 결과들을 비교했을 때, 집적도, 교차편파준위 및 이득 특성 측면에서 모두 우수한 특성을 보였다. In this paper, the sequentially rotated array(SRA) antenna with 256 elements applicable for satellite broadcasting reception was designed by arraying with this trip1e(4+8+4 elements) SRA antenna as a sub-array antenna. The structure of a triple SRA antenna is a combination of three coaxial shells which composed with 4 elements of inner shell and 8 elements of middle shell and 4 elements of outer shell. In accordance with the optimum design rules for realizing a high gain antenna, the sequential array factors of inner shell and outer shell have been chosen M=4, and P=1 and that of middle shell has been chosen M=8, and P=1. The results of the simulation and the measurement for the proposed trip1e(4+8+4 elements) SRA antenna and the SRA antenna with 256 elements show good characteristics on the integration, bandwidth of the axial ratio and the cross-polarization, the gain respectively.
