        단삼(Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge)으로 부터 Tanshinone IIA의 분리 및 함량분석

        The rhizomes of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge(Labiatae) has been used in Chinese traditional medicine for the treatment of coronary heart diseases and myocardial infarction. As a part of a research for standardization of crude oriental drugs, we have determined the content of tanshinone IIA in Salvia miltiorrhiza purchased from various regions of Korea. The HPLC method by which quantitative analysis was conducted, showed reproducible results and chromatographic isolation of tanshinone IIA was accomplished successively.

        Purpose: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is frequently yet little understood disease. Review was performed to promote understanding on the characteristics, pathophysiology, and risk factors of IBS. Content: IBS is characterized by abdominal discomfort associated with pain and altered bowel function; structural and biochemical abnormalities are absent. Generally IBS is more prevalent in women and people with higher educational and social background, but there are some controversies. IBS is diagnosed by the Rome II or Manning criteria after excluding organic gastrointestinal diseases. The pathophysioloy is explained by abnormal control mechanism of central and enteric nervous system. Mucosal immunity, secretions, and neurotransmitter are also associated with the hypersensitivity and motility change of bowel function. Stress is known as a major triggering factor and contributed to symptoms. Other risk factors are genetic elements, childhood experiences, inflammation, anxiety, depression, diet, and sleep disorders.

        박재삼 시에 나타나는 바다의 공간성 고찰

        This article will discuss ways to comprehend the poems of Park Jae Sam through sea space. Because the sea continuously affected in shaping his poems, to poet Park Jae Sam, space along with time becomes the premise. So to dwell on a space means to actively look at the inner consciousness that reflects a poet's consciousness and objective perception. Therefore, in relation to sea space in the poems of Park Jae Sam First it is circular repetitive reminiscence space. Second it is an altered space due to time. Third, it is self-aware embracing space. above 3 things are classified as such that will help understand his poem through the process of overcoming and accepting sorrow caused by sea space which either the poet consciously or unconsciously feels. To sum up, his poems on the sea is a lyric poetry where past co-exists with present, and is reminiscence, altercation and embracement space that mends fence with the real world.

        고골의 「무서운 복수」에 나타난 서사의 이중구조

        고골은 러시아 소설의 형성기에 살았으며, 소설의 형성화에 직접적으로 관계된 작가 가운데 한 사람이다. 특히 고골은 다양한 서사 기법과 서사자를 시험함으로써 소설의 서사 형식에 다양화를 보여주었다. 『지칸카 근교 야회』에 수록된 작품 「무서운 복수」 역시 대비적인 서사 기법으로 구성되며, 이것은 작품의 독특한 분위기 형성에 한 몫을 한다. 이때 대비적인 서사는 등장인물을 중심으로 이루어진다. 역사적이고 사실적인 주인공인 다닐로는 대체로 자세하고 유머러스하게 묘사되어 독자에게 친근감을 불러일으킨다. 반면 장인은 주로 집약적으로 기술되고, 그에게 공포가 스며있다. 다닐로가 죽고 난 후에 서사자가 장인에게 한층 더 집중하면서, 작품의 서사는 보다 환상적이고 유머 없이 리드미컬하게 전개된다. 이와 같은 대비적인 서사는 다닐로의 영웅적 행위에 대한 감정을 고조시키는 반면 장인에게는 거리감을 두면서, 작품의 비극성을 강화시킨다. 마지막 장인 16장에서 고골은 눈먼 장님인 반두라 연주자라는 새로운 서사자를 창조한다. 이 서사자는 노래를 통해 장인의 행위와 불행을 설명한다. 당시 고골은 우크라이나 노래가 ‘역사’라고 불릴 수 있으며 실제 삶과 연관된다고 주장한 바 있다. 따라서 고골은 노래로 된 서사를 통해 이 이야기를 일반적인 삶의 문제로 만들고자 한다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 「무서운 복수」에 나타난 복잡한 대비적 서사 구조에 주목하여 작품이 지닌 특징에 접근하고자 했다. 본 연구의 결과가 고골의 시학과 서사 기법을 연구하는데 도움이 되기를 기대한다. This paper studies the narrative strategies and the narrators in “A Terrible Vengeance” written by Nicolai Gogol. Gogol was one of writers who lived in the formative period of the Russian novels and was directly involved in forming Russian novels. His works are worth studying not only for their contents but also for their forms. Gogol is well-known for using a variety of narrative techniques and narrators. In particular, “A Terrible Vengeance” is composed of contrasting narrative techniques and narrators. These contrasting narratives are closely related to the characters. A historic and realistic hero, Danilo is described in detail and with humor. Readers witness the Cossacks’ life and feel a sense of closeness toward them. In contrast, Danilo’s father-in-law is depicted intensively and the description of him creates an atmosphere of terror that permeates the entire story. After Danilo’s death, the narrative focuses on his father-in-law, so the story is followed in fantastic and rhythmic prose without humor. These contrasting narratives make readers sympathize with Danilo and the Cossacks and get the tragic emotions heightened. In epilogue, Gogol created a new narrator, who is blind and play the bandura. This narrator sings a folktale, which can explain the father-in-law`s behavior and unhappiness. At that time, Gogol stated that Ukrainian folksongs are called history and related to real life. Therefore, he intended to make this story an essential and universal issue through his narrative. This research focuses on Gogol`s complex narrative structures with contrasting moods and approaches his intention. The results of this research are expected to help understand Gogol`s poetics and his evolutionary process better.

        소형 SCR 시스템 내 유동 제어를 위한 Baffle의 구조 결정에 관한 수치해석적 연구

        소형 SCR 시스템(처리용량 25,300 Sm3/hr, 내부용적 2.4×2.4×3.1 m3)의 촉매성능개선을 목적으로 배기가스 유동제어에 관한 수치 해석적 연구가 수행되었다. 유동제어를 위해 여러 형태의 배플이 제안되었으며 CFD 해석을 통해 최적의 배플형상을 결정하였다. 유동 균일화를 위해서 설치된 배플의 유무에 따라 본 연구의 SCR 시스템에서의 촉매층 전단 5 mm에서 유속에 대한 RMS(%) 값은 약 6.2%의 차이를 보였다. 수치해석에 의해 결정된 격자 형상의 배플에서 사용된 배플판의 두께범위가 0~8 mm에서는 RMS(%) 값의 변화가 없었으나 두께 10 mm가 되면 2.5% 가량 수치가 증가하여 유동에 영향을 주었다. 격자 형상의 배플은 원뿔대 형상, 믹서 형상 배플에 비해 상대적으로 높은 유동안정도를 나타내며 형상에 따라 RMS(%) 값은 10% 이상의 차이를 나타내었다. Numerical analysis was done to evaluate the gas flow distribution in small scale SCR system which has 2.4×2.4×3.1 m3 in volume and 25,300 Sm3/hr in flue gas flow capacity. Various types of baffles proposed for controlling the flow uniformity were evaluated by the CFD analysis to find the optimal geometry of the baffle in the SCR system. By installing baffles in the SCR system, the RMS (%) value was raised up to 6.2% compared with the baffle-uninstalled state. The effect of baffle thicknesses on the RMS (%) value was not shown within 0 and 8 mm in thickness, but the RMS (%) value was raised by 2.5% in 10 mm of baffles thickness, which causes the unstability in flow. By comparison between the shape of baffles, it is known that the lattice type baffle has better performance in controlling the flow uniformity than the circular truncated cone type baffle or mixer type baffle. RMS (%) values have more that 10% difference according to the shape of baffle type.

        인삼 Dammarane Glycoside류 분획물이 일차배양한 계배의 뇌세포에 미치는 영향

        Effects of dammarane glycosides of Panax ginseng on primary cultured chicken embryonic brain cells were studied by microscopic observation and determination of the activity of pyruvate dehydrogenase complex(PDHC), Brain cells were prepared from the brain of 10-day-old chicken embryo and cultured with either a standard medium consisted of 85% Dulbecco''s Modified Eagle Medium(DMEM), 10% horse serum and 5% chicken embryonic extracts or a deficient medium consisted of 90% DMEM and 10% horse serum. It was observed that dammarane glycosides of Panax ginseng seemed to show the tendency to stimulate the neurite outgrowth of brain cells which were cultured with a deficient medium under microscopic observation. The activity of PDHC in brain cells cultured with a deficient medium was increased by dammarane glycosides of Panax ginseng.

        The applications of composite materials have increased over the past few decades in a variety of structures that require high ratio of stiffness and strength to weight ratios. Recently the thick open section composite beams are used extensively as load carrying members and stiffeners of structural elements. However, most of studies on thick composite beams are limited only to closed section beams. In this study, an open crosssection thick-walled composite beam model which includes coupled stiffness, transverse shear, and warping effects is suggested and the deflections associated with the thick-walled composite beams and thin-walled composite beams are obtained and compared with the finite element analysis results.
