This paper describes a novel control method of a three-phase PWM Inverter for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications. To obtain the fast dynamics and excellent harmonic characteristics, a new state feedback control technique IS proposed. The proposed control consists of the inner-loop current and outer-loop voltage controllers with a load current estimator to reduce the effects of the load variations and nonlinearity. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control, the simulation IS carried out for various load condition.

This paper deals with the modeling and analysis of the high voltage flyback transformer (HVFBT) often utilized m small~sized high voltage DC power supplies, The parasitic capacitance of the HVFBT with the large turns of the secondary winding causes the undesirable parasitic resonance in the transient state, which produces the high current stress and limits the switching frequency of the converter, In order to analyze this phenomenon, the equivalent circuit model including the parasitic capacitance is derived and the frequency characteristics are provided The parasitic resonance in the switching states is also investigated based on this equivalent circuit model. The derived model and analysis is finally validated through the SPICE simulation and experiments.

In recent years, solar and wind power have been determined to be the main generation sources of power system. Therefore, it is expected that the power system capacity of RES(Renewable Energy Sources) with volatility will increase. Accordingly, there is a need for system planning, monitoring, and operation of a RES linked power system using precise real-time data rather than conventional SCADA based data. This paper is a part of the development of the real-time monitoring/analysis/control system for the new and renewable power sources installed for the monitoring and analysis of Gangwon region where the grid connection capacity is increasing. First, we briefly introduce the software of GPS-based time-synchro phasor-based monitoring and analysis system installed in Gangwon region. The file processing of the collected PMU data is described. Finally, we will analyze the power system effect of RES linked to Gangwon region using time-synchro phasor data.
