The paper deals with a inverter control scheme lo apply feeder flow control in the hybrid system consisted of a photovoltaic system and a fuel-cell system. The inverter operation modes and a feeder contral reference is changed by changing of the loads. Simulation results using the PSCAD/EMTDC are presented to establish a inverter control method for a Feeder flow control mode.

This paper presents a monitor positioning algorithm to identify the power quality event source in the distribution system with distributed generations. This algorithm determines the appropriate number of monitors and their locations considering power system topology together with distributed generation. This paper summarizes the guidelines of monitor positioning into five principles and defines the weighting factors according to the principles. To evaluate the adequacy of monitor positioning results, ambiguity indices considering monitor location and system topology are proposed. The optimal number and locations of monitors are determined from optimization routine using the weighting factors and the monitor positioning results are evaluated in terms of ambiguity indices. The algorithm is applied to IEEE 13 bus test feeder and suggests the optimal number and locations of power quality monitors. The proposed approach can realize the expert's knowledge on monitor positioning into a sophisticated automatic computing algorithm.

Active power control scheme for distributed generation in microgrid consists of feeder flow control and unit power control. Feeder flow control is more useful than the unit power control for demand-side management, because microgrid can be treated as a dispatchable load at the point of common coupling(PCC). This paper presents detailed descriptions of the feeder flow control scheme for the hybrid system in microgrid. It is divided into three parts, namely, the setting of feeder flow reference range for stable hybrid system operation, feeder flow control algorithm depending on load change in microgrid and hysteresis control. Simulation results using the PSCAD/EMTDC are presented to validate the inverter control method for a feeder flow control mode. As a result, the feeder flow control algorithm for the hybrid system in microgrid is efficient for supplying continuously active power to customers without interruption.

Seoul, the capital of Korea, is worldwide city; Seoul is 600 year-old city as a capital and more than 10 millions of population live in Seoul, Image of Seoul has began to be known to the peoples in the world through 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and 2002 World Cup. However, in the public design and trees lining street system, Seoul hasn't been escaped from the image of a city which lacks of the characterization in the culture and identity aspects. This paper applied a protective fence designing simulation for Cultural Street in Seoul to develop much more the identity of Seoul and characterization of local culture. Also, It's examined and analyzed R&D data, and applied traditional patterns to design to set developmental capacity of design and a direction of fence design in the past, present and future. It's analyzed the present condition of domestic manufacturers and examples for installation, selected randomly 7 places of domestic cultural places as an alternative to compare the previous design to the present design with 3D design and photos composing method, and developed the related situation. Also, It's visualized this method to let the citizens and all levels of society determine the design. besides that, developed the traditional patterns to apply the patterns to the design, considering the characteristic of each region and characteristic of each road. It's suggested this fence design to apply the image of advanced Korea and Seoul as a creative cultural city, and the international status of Korea and Seoul to the trees on the historical and traditional street. Also, put an importance to bring the identity of Seoul and Korea in the world into relief.

The paper deals with an operation scheme to improve the forecasting of output range and to regulate the active power output of the hybrid system consisting of a doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) and a fuel-cell. The power output of the wind turbine fluctuates as the wind speed varies and the slip power between the rotor circuit and power converter varies as the rotor speed change. The power fluctuation of a DFIG makes its operation difficult when a DFIG is connected to grid. A fuel cell system can be individually operated and adjusted output power, hence the wind turbine and fuel cell hybrid system can overcome power fluctuation by using a fuel-cell power control. In this paper, a fuel-cell is performed to regulate the active power output in comparison with the regulated active power output of a DFIG. And it also improves the forecasting of output range. Based on PSCAD/EMTDC tools, a DFIG and a proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) is simulated and the dynamics of the output power in hybrid system are investigated.
