        동료지도학습법이 간호대학생의 동료돌봄행위, 대인관계유능성 및 학업적자기효능감에 미치는 효과

        Purpose : This study aims to identify the effects of peer tutoring on the peer group caring interaction, interpersonal competence, and academic self-efficacy of nursing college students and to use them for practical education. Methods : The participants comprised 33 nursing students who lived in Gyeong-nam Province. Data were collected from February 1 to May 1, 2019. The PGCIS -K Questionnaire, Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire, and Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire were used. Data were analyzed by average, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and Wilcoxon signed rank test using SPSS version 23.0. Results : A significant difference was found in the data obtained from the Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire (z=-2.13, p<.03) but not from the PGCIS-K Questionnaire of the research subjects who participated in peer tutoring (z=-.89, p<.37) and from the Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire (z=-.78, p<.43). Furthermore, their interpersonal competence significantly increased after the peer tutoring program. Conclusion : This study developed a peer tutoring program for nursing students and applied it to basic nursing practice classes to verify its effect on peer group caring interaction, interpersonal competence, and academic self-efficacy. The subjects improved their peer group caring interaction and interpersonal competence through peer tutoring. Peer tutoring also showed an effect on interpersonal competence.

        자세안정성 원리에 기반한 환자이동기술 개발 및 효과검정

        Purpose: This study was done to develop a postural-stability patient transfer technique for care helpers in nursing homes and to evaluate its effectiveness. Methods: Four types of patient transfer techniques (Lifting towards the head board of the bed, turning to the lateral position, sitting upright on the bed, transferring from wheel chair to bed) were practiced in accordance with the following three methods; Care helpers habitually used transfer methods (Method 1), patient transfer methods according to care helper standard textbooks (Method 2), and a method developed by the author ensuring postural-stability (Method 3). The care helpers’ muscle activity and four joint angles were measured. The collected data were analyzed using the program SPSS Statistic 21.0. To differentiate the muscle activity and joint angle, the Friedman test was executed and the post-hoc analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. Results: Muscle activity was significantly lower during Method 3 compared to Methods 1 and 2. In addition, the joint angle was significantly lower for the knee and shoulder joint angle while performing Method 3 compared to Methods 1 and 2. Discussion: Findings indicate that using postural-stability patient transfer techniques can contribute to the prevention of musculoskeletal disease which care helpers suffer from due to physically demanding patient care in nursing homes.

        여고생의 스마트폰 중독, 수면시간 및 우울간의 관계

        본 연구는 여고생을 대상으로 스마트폰 중독, 수면시간 및 우울간의 관련성을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 부산 시 소재 고등학교에 재학 중인 여고생 중 스마트폰 사용자 463명을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient로 검증하였다. 연구결과, 여고생의 우울은 평균 10.41점(0~30점)이었으며, 우울 정도에 따른 분류에서 정상이 247명(53.3%), 경증 우울 110명(23.8%), 중증 우울 71명(15.3%), 심한 우울 35명(7.6%)이었다. 스마트폰 중독 정도는 비교적 높은 편이었으며, 학업성적(F=6.12, p<.001)에 따라 우울에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 주요 변수간 상관관계에서, 스마트폰 중독은 우울과 양의 상관관계(r=.30, p<.001)를, 우울은 수면시간과 유의한 음의 상관관계(r=-.13, p=.003)를 보였다. 따라서 여고생의 우울증을 예방하기 위하여 스마트폰 중독이 높은 여고생들에게 우울 선별검사를 실시하여 관리할 필요가 있으며, 수면습관을 개선하여 충분한 수면시간을 확보해야 할 것이다. This study was conducted to investigate the relationships between smart-phone addiction depression, sleeping time, and depression in female high school students. The subjects were 463 smart-phone users among high school girls in Pusan city. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation analysis. As a results, mean depression scores in high school girls was 10.41 (0 ~ 30). According to the degree of depression, 247 cases (53.3%) were normal, 110 cases (23.8%) were mild depression, 71 cases (15.3%) were moderate depression and 35 cases (7.6%) were severe depression. The level of depression and smart-phone addiction female high school students was relatively high and Depression was significantly different according to academic achievement (F=6.12, p<.001). The relationships between depression and smart-phone addiction was statistically significant with a positive correlation (r=.30, p<.001). The relationships between depression and sleep time was statistically significant with a negative correlation (r=-.13, p=.003). Therefore, to prevent depression in high school girls, it is necessary to have sufficient sleeping time by improving sleep habits and manage the depression screening test to high school girls who have high level of addiction to smart-phone.

        초등학생의 미세먼지에 대한 인식, 호흡기 관련 자각증상 및 신체활동정도가 건강증진행위에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of awareness regarding particulate matter, perceived respiratory symptoms, and physical activities on health promotion behavior in elementary school children. Methods: Data were collected from 639 4th~6th grades students from 8 elementary schools in Busan and analyzed using independent t-test and ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. Results: The average for awareness regarding particulate matter was 29.84±5.63, for perceived respiratory symptoms, 0.66±0.95, and for health promotion behavior, 7.85±1.76. The mean amount of time the students spent in sleeping or sitting on an easy chair and/or activity while sitting were 10.71±3.04 and 6.60±2.84 hours a day. Factors influencing health promotion behavior in elementary school children were being a girl (β=.09, p=.015), in 4th grade (β=-.09, p=.025), residence in Busanjingu (β=-.10, p=.005), residence in Bukgu (β=-.12, p=.001), more than 10 years residence period (β=-.09, p=.020) and awareness regarding particulate matter (β=.42, p<.001). The explanation power of these variables was 23% (F=22.21, p<.001). Conclusion: It is recommended that for health education programs, gender, grade, length of residence and area’s air pollution level be considered and education program including guideline for particulate matter be provided continuously to elementary students to increase their level of awareness regarding particulate matter and proper physical activity.

        재가노인 방문요양보호사의 낙상관련 대처 경험에 관한 연구

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the experience and meaning of falls among care workers caring for the elderly. Methods: The participants comprised 10 care workers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The data collection period was from September to November 2020, and the data were obtained through individual in-depth interviews. The collected data were analyzed using the content analysis method of qualitative research. The main interview questions were as follows: First, in the event of a fall, “can you tell us about your experience and how you dealt with the fall?; second, “can you tell us about your role and the role of family members or the center that manages falls that occur outside of nursing visits.”, third, “can you tell us about the difficulties in managing falls based on your experience?”, and fourth, “how are falls that occur during nursing visits managed?” Results: As a result of analyzing the experiences of nursing care workers of falls while caring for elders in their homes, five main themes were derived. These were understanding the characteristics of the elderly at home, understanding possible emergency situations, providing caring services, minimizing physical harm, and delivering clear information. Conclusion: A significant finding of this study was that care workers who visit and provide care to elders at home confirmed the need for standard guidelines on appropriate responses in the event of a fall at home and the importance of managing emergencies arising from falls among elders at home. These results highlight the need for the development of emergency response education programs, such as programs on fall care among nurses and care workers who provide care to the elderly, and for enhanced understanding of the fall risk of elders who live at home.
