The purpose of this study is to evaluate histologically the resorption and tissue response of various resorbale membranes used for guided tissue regneration procedures, using a subcutaneous model on the dorsal surface of the rat. In this study, 12 Sprague-Dawley male rats(mean BW 150gm) were used and the commercially available materials included dense collagen membrane, freeze-dried bovine dura mater loos collagen membrane, PLA/PLGA membrane. Animals were sacrificed at 3, 6 and 8 weeks after implantation of various resorbable membranes. Specimens were prepared with Hematoxylin-Eosin stain for light microscopic evaluation. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Resorption : Loose collagen membrane group was resorbed most rapidly. Dense collagen membrane group and freeze-dried bovine dura mater group were rarely resorbed. 2. Inflammatory reactions : PLA/PLGA membrane group showed persistent and severe inflammatory reactions for 3 to 8 weeks. Moderate inflammatory reactions and the ectopic formation of calcified material were observed in dense collagen membrane group. Freeze-dried bovine dura mater group and loose collagen membrane group showed mild inflammatory reactions 3. In PLA/PLGA membrane group, multinucleated giant cells by foreign body reactions were observed. In conclusion, the resorption of freeze-dried bovine dura mater didn't happen for 3-6weeks, which showed the best bio-compatibility. Therefore, freeze-dried bovine dura mater was considered proper resorbable membrane for guided tissue regeneration.
CAE 기법을 이용한 정보저장시스템의 Fanless 열설계

This study suggested fanless thelmal design using CAE technique for the information storage system under the serious themlal problem. At first, main heat 11o\v was controlled by CAE based fanless heat sink design not to influence sensitive optical pick -up sensor. Then, vent parametric studies found a thermal solution about highly concentrated case top heat due to fan less. These CAE results were verified by experimental methods. As a consequence of ne\vly designed thermal path, thermal specification of optical pick-up sensor was satisfied and fan less thenmll design for the information storage system was achieved.

In the present work, the practical thermal design process of 1 DIN car DVD receiver described. In the course of its efficient design, CAE technique was essentially used. CAE technique has reduced research period, man power and material cost but has increased research convenience, organized results and persuasive power. CAE technique helped to study parameters such as vent, fan and heat sink. Using these elements, it tried to meet optimal thermal solution. But safety standard, printed circuit board and framework mechanism should be considered as the constraint. To overcome these constraints, we tried to communicate and compromise with projectors in charge. After all, the price of those efforts has made the most competitive heat sink for heat dissipation in the 1 DIN car DVD receiver market. Moreover, we are trying to save $3 per product by removing fan. This paper is supposed to show an example of the CAE technique and help thermal designers to make electronic packaging goods.
