(60-x)SiO<sub>2</sub>-40Na<sub>2</sub>O-xCaO(x=0∼15wt%)조성유리계의 조성, 온도 및 전기전도도간의 상관특성

We report the electrical conductivity of the mixed alkali silicate glasses in the system (60-x)$SiO_2-40Na_2O-xCaO(x=0\sim15wt%)$ in the temperature range from $150^{\circ}C$ to $620^{\circ}C$. In the range from $150^{\circ}C$ to glass transition temperature$(T_g)$, the electrical conductivities of glass samples had a tendency to be proportion with temperature. The glasses of containing over 7.5wt% CaO showed lower conductivities than the glasses of containing 0 and 5wt% CaO because two kinds of alkali ions$(Na^+,\;Ca^{2+})$ were obstructed each other. On the other hand, in the range from $T_g$ to $620^{\circ}C$, the electrical conductivity of glasses($7.5{\leq}x{\leq}12.5$) was unstable and decreased in some region. From XRD results, the $Na_4Ca(SiO_3)_3$ phase were observed in these glasses. This means the alkali ions didn't behave as carrier, it seems that this caused the conductivities decrease. In case of glass of containing 15wt% CaO, any crystal phase were not observed. This means the alkali ions behaved as carrier, it consequently seems the conductivity increased.

용융 및 재석철법을 이용하여 9wt%의 CdS가 분산된 인산염 유리를 제조하고 CdS 미립자의 석출 특성을 검토하였다. 열처리 온도와 시간이 증가함에 따라 유리의 흡수단은 장파장으로 이동하였다. 매질유리내에 석출된 CdS 미립자의 band gap은 2.45∼3.43eV 범위에 있었으며, bulk CdS band gap보다 0.05∼1.01eV 정도 높은 값을 나타내었으며 Brus식으로 근사한 석출된 CdS 미립자의 반경은 10∼90ÅA 범위에 존재하였다. 이는 quantum size effect를 나타낼 수 있는 크기로 사료된다. We prepared the phosphate glass containing 9wt% CdS by melting and precipitation method. The precipitation characteristics of CdS microcystals was investigated. With increasing annealing time and temperature, the absorption edge of glasses shifted to longer wavelength. The potical band gap of CdS microcrystals was 2.45∼3.43eV. It was 0.05∼1.01eV higher than that of bulk CdS crystal. The sizes of CdS microcystals, approximated by Brus equation, were 10∼90Å range. It was assumed that the quantum size effect of CdS microcrystals should be obtained.

재래식 열과 마이크로파 에너지에 의해 열처리된 무기 고분자인 PbO-ZnO- B₂O₃-TiO₂계 봉착용 유리의 결정화 거동을 비교 검토하였다. DTA 분석을 통하여 결정화 열처리를 위한 온도 및 유리의 특성점을 산출하여, 재래식 전기로와 개조된 가정용 전자레인지 (LG Electronic Co., 2.45 ㎓, 700W)로 시편들의 열처리를 행하였다. X-선 회절 분석 결과, 마이크로파에 의해 열처리된 시편은 재래식 열에 의해 열처리된 시편에 비하여 약 20℃ 정도 낮은 450℃에서 PbTiO₃ 결정이 성장함을 알 수 있었다. This study investigated the crystallization behavior in PbO-ZnO-B₂O₃-TiO₂system sealing glass, inorganic polymer, heat-treated by conventional and microwave energy. After selecting heat-treatment temperatures by determining crystallization and characteristic points from DTA analyses, samples were heat-treated at various temperatures in a electric furnace and a home-style microwave oven (LG Electronic Co., 2.45 ㎓, 700W). From XRD analyses, the microwave heat-treated sample had the growth of PbTiO₃crystal at 450℃, which was 20℃ lower than that of the conventionally heat-treated sample.
