육계농장에서 외미거저리(Alphitobius diaperinus) 발생양상 보고

딱정벌레목(Coleoptera) 거저리과(Tenebrionidae)에 속하는 외미거저리(Alphitobius diaperinus (Panzer))는 저장곡물해충의 하나로 알려져 있지만, 대부분 이미 피해를 받은 곡물을 섭식하기 때문에 경제적으로 심각한 위협을 초래할 정도는 아니다. 그러나 이 외미거저리 해충은 많은 나라의 가금산업에서 매우 중요한 해충으로 간주되고 있다. 우리나라의 육계농장에서도 외미거저리가 발생하여 문제를 야기하고 있음이 확인되었고, 이 해충의 발생으로 야기되는 문제로는 육계농장의 보온효과 및 병아리의 전반적인 활력을 떨어뜨리고, 병원균을 전염시킴으로써 가금업자에게 상당한 경제적 손실을 가져다주고 있다. 한편, 육계농장에서 이 외미거저리 개체군을 한 가지 방법으로 완전히 제거하기가 쉽지 않기 때문에 적절한 방제방법을 개발하기 위한 노력이 절실하다. While the darkling beetle, Alphitobius diaperinus (Panzer) (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) is considered a pest of stored products, it does not pose a significant economic threat to this industry. The grains these beetles feeding on are often already damaged. However, the beetle is now being treated as the foremost premise pest in the poultry industry in many countries of the world. Recently, the darkling beetle has also infested in broiler chicken houses of Korea. The problems caused by this pest destroy the insulate facilities of poultry houses, reduce chick's overall performance, transmit pathogenic organisms, and have been leading to substantial economic losses for poultry producers. Therefore, we conducted surveys on the status of infestation and damage of this pest in broiler chicken houses. Because there is no simple one step process that will completely eliminate darkling beetle populations from broiler facilities, we would like to outline further studies on the proper control measures.

2018년과 2019년 봄철에 전남 광양의 일부 자두(Prunus salicina Lindl.) 과수원에서 어린 과실을 낙과시켜 심각한 피해를 일으키는 새로운 해충을 채집하여 사육한 후 우화한 성충을 분류동정한 결과, 국내미기록종인 자두수염잎벌(신칭; Monocellicampa pruni Wei)로 확인되어 보고한다. 또한 이 해충의 피해 상황과 분류학적 특징을 기재함과 동시에 수컷생식기의 특징을 도해하여 제시하였다. A larval attack leading to severe loss to fruit production of Japanese plum (Prunus salicina Lindl.) was reported in the orchards in Gwangyang, Jeonnam province, South Korea during the spring seasons of 2018 and 2019. As the result of investigation, the damage was identified to be caused by Monocellicampa pruni Wei of the family Tenthredinidae. In this study, we present the first report of this pest in Korea and describe the damage caused by the larvae as well as taxonomic information by illustrating the characteristics of male genitalia.

제주진주거저리(Platydema takeii Nakane)의 목이버섯 가해

2021년 4월부터 8월에 제주시의 비닐하우스에서 재배되는 목이버섯에서 거저리 일종이 발견되었으며, 그를 동정한 결과 제주진주거저리 (Platydema takeii Nakane, 1956)로 확인되었다. 상업적으로 재배되는 버섯에 있어서 거저리 해충으로 인한 우리나라의 첫 번째 피해 사례이다. 여기서는 이 해충의 피해 증상과 성충 및 유충의 진단형질을 제공하고자 한다.
