This thesis is about applying Hybrid FRF based sub-structuring synthesis method to a vehicle in order to predict structural borne noise caused by engine excitation. The finite element of sub-frame is generated by using Altair HyperMesh from CAD images and dynamic analysis is carried out by using MSC Nastran. The natural frequency and frequency response function of finite element sub-frame model are compared with them of real sub-frame for the validity of applying Hybrid FBS method. Sub-structures are defined in preparation for applying Hybrid FBS method and noise of the car is predicted by applying the method by using. By comparing the result based on finite element model with the predicted results of real sub-frame, the usefulness of Hybrid FBS method is confirmed.

Railway safety management information systems are now being developed by various railway related organizations. A large number of railway safety related data were gathered from railway operators, railway infrastructure manager and railway intendance, etc. The meaning of these data can easily be defined by each organization or developer with little regard for reusing of data by others. Until the present, the main efforts for data management focused on classifying the railway safety data by subject for the developer's convenience and how to combine these data each other is not interested in. In this study, data integration is considered from the viewpoint of combining them semantically in order to get more useful information from partially informed data of multi agencies.

It is essential for the high-speed train technology to improve the core technology and speed. KTX-Sancheon, the Korean high-speed train, was developed by our own technology, and gives commercial service with 300㎞/h. To give more comfortable service to customers, it is important to reduce the unnecessary vibration and noise. It this paper, we measured the vibration on the several position of power car during the test run. And we analyzed the vibration characteristics of the power car of KTX-Sanchoen during the test run. The results will be used to improve the efficiency of KTX-Sanchoen to give the good commercial service.

This study was conducted to analyze the vibration characteristics of EMU type High-speed train. To understand which route the vibration characteristics of the train are contributed and how it influences on EMU type High-speed train, OPTA analysis, which is a type of TPA, was applied to investigate the contribution level of each part. The results show high contributions from the center pivot, and low frequency vibrations had much effects on the train during the high-speed run. Henceforward, drawing the complete overall vibration flow chart by specifying researches and detailed vibration routes will lead to reduction of vibration which will expand further studies on speed improvement, ride quality and electronic parts.
