        남북한 영유아의 영양 실태 비교

        Purpose: Previous studies have reported the difference in nutritional status between South and North Korean infants and young children (IYC). Clear understanding on the nature of such differences is essential for planning food and nutrition policies and programs to prepare for a possible re-unification of the two Koreas in future. This study was undertaken to yield valid statistics comparing the nutritional status between North and South Korean IYC. Methods: Raw data obtained from the 2017 Korean National Growth Chart and the 2013–2017 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey were analyzed to determine the comparable statistics that include weight for age z-score (WAZ), height for age z-score (HAZ) and weight for height z-score (WHZ), with data reported in the Survey Findings Report of the 2017 DRP Korea Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey. The average weight and height by gender and month were estimated for North Korean IYC and calculated for South Korean IYC. SPSS analysis was applied to evaluate the acquired statistics and compare the nutritional status of South and North Korean IYC. Results: WAZ, HAZ and WHZ of North Korean IYC were observed to be lower than values obtained for South Korean IYC as well as the median values of World Health Organization Child Growth Standards across all ages. Similar patterns were observed for average height and weight. The nutritional status of North Korean IYC revealed a prevalence of highly underweight (9.3%), stunting (19.1%) and wasting (2.5%) values, and was determined to be significantly lower than values obtained for South Korean IYC (0.8%, 1.8%, and 0.7%, respectively). Conclusion: This study has yielded valid statistics that compare the nutritional status of North and South Korean IYC. Results of this study confirm the prevalence of nutritional status difference between South and North Korea.

        4Cs를 중심으로 한 디자인 호텔의 스페이스 마케팅 전략에 관한 연구

        디자인 호텔은 소비자가 새로운 경험과 다양한 여가시설 그리고 감각적인 디자인을 요구하면서 새롭게 생성된 호텔의 한 유형으로 단순히 숙박시설을 의미하는 것이 아니라 `도심 속의 커뮤니티 공간`으로 디자인을 통해 새로운 경험과 라이프스타일을 창조하는 장소이다. 그러므로 디자인 호텔에서 디자인은 당연히 마케팅 전략의 핵심이며, 마케팅 전략 수립과정에서 모든 마케팅 변수를 분석하고 결정하는 기준이 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 변화하는 환경에 적응할 수 있고 소비자 중심의 마케팅 전략이면서 디자인 호텔의 스페이스 마케팅에 적합하다고 판단되는 코틀러의 4Cs와 김은영과 김경희의 4Cs를 기준으로 스페이스 마케팅의 4Cs (Consumer, Competitive factor, Convenience, Communication)를 새롭게 구성하고, 정리된 4Cs를 중심으로 디자인 호텔의 스페이스 마케팅 전략을 분석하고 검증하고자 하였다. 검증한 결과를 토대로 정리하면, 디자인 호텔은 계획 초기단계에서부터 소비자, 경쟁요소, 편의성, 커뮤니케이션의 관점에서 고려될 수 있으며, 이런 4Cs 요소들을 통합적 관점에서 분석하여 어떻게 그들만의 독창적인 마케팅 전략을 수립하는가가 디자인 호텔의 경쟁력이라고 할 수 있다. 즉 디자인 호텔은 신선하고 창의적인 디자인을 기본으로 하여 가격, 예외적 기능과 서비스, 공간을 통한 커뮤니케이션 등의 결합을 통해 경쟁적 우위를 확보할 수 있다. Design Hotels are not places simply providing lodging services. They are a kind of urban community spaces which create an experience and a life style reflecting consumers` needs of new experiences various recreation facilities and sensational designs. Therefore design is a core factor that affects most marketing variables during establishing marketing strategies for design hotels. Accordingly, the main objective of this research is to analyze and verify the marketing strategies of Design Hotel in view of new 4Cs(Customer, Competitive factor, Convenience and Communication) elements of space marketing. The result showed that 4Cs should be considered at the very initial steps of design hotel establishment. Also, those elements should be analyzed systematically to draw creative marketing strategies that create competitive edges for design hotels with considering price, exceptional functions and services, and space communication mainly based on original and creative designs.

      • Notes on Thetic Judgement as Presentational There

        This paper offers a formal approach to thetic statement in English presentational there construction. Thetic statement expresses a direct response to the p erceptual cognition of an actual situation, that is perceptual intake of informat ion about an actual situation. It poses grammatical constraints on presentation there, carrying different discourse intention and meaning. However, The syntac tic represent of presentational there may not correspond to semantic functions of it. So I argue that expressing thetic judgement must be represented with a distinctive syntatic representation, maintaining a possibility that the form and f unction of sentences may correspond to each other. In English, sentence types are often marked at the Spec of CP. The split CP structure Force and Fin pro posed by Rizzi(1997) were used for observed characteristics in presentational t here construction.

      • 경피적 관상동맥중재술 후 반좌위 체위변경이 환자의 요통과 불편감에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of position change from supine to Fowler`s on back pain and discomfort in patients who remained on bed rest after undergoing PCIs with a vascular closure device. Methods: Data was collected from 35 inpatients who were hospitalized in coronary-care unit to perform PCIs with a vascular closure device at S hospital in Seoul from December, 2006 to May, 2007. Back pain, discomfort, presence and grade of bleeding and hematoma from femoral arterial puncture site and blood pressure/pulse rate were measured prior to, 10 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours after position change. Data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, x2 tests and t-tests using SPSS/WIN 12.0 for Windows program. The level of significance(α) was set at 0.05 for this study. Results: We found that there was no significant difference in back pain and discomfort in 10 minutes after position change between the two groups. However, the experimental group reported significantly less back pain and discomfort than the control group in 1 hour (p<.01, respectively) and 2 hour (p<.01, respectively) after position change. There was no significant difference in the presence and grade of bleeding and hematoma at the puncture site, blood pressure, and pulse rate in 10 minutes, 1hour and 2hours after position change between the two groups. Conclusion: Fowler`s position change after PCIs in, therefore, safe and effective method of reducing back pain and physical discomfort without causing additional bleeding and changes in blood pressure and pulse rate.

        한국 거주 북한이탈 어린이와 남한 어린이의 식품 및 영양소 섭취 현황 비교

        Many displaced North Koreans (NK) are living in South Korea (SK); however nutrition research with the displaced NK is limited. This study examined food and nutrient consumption status of displaced NK children (6-18 year-old) currently living in SK. A total of 154 children were recruited, and a pre-tested dietary behavior questionnaire, food frequency questionnaire, 24-hr recall method were used. Sex- and age-matched SK children (n=462) randomly selected from 2009-2010 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey were used as the comparison group. This study found that more NK children skipped breakfast (37%) and dinner (11%), and ate breakfast (38.8%) and dinner (18.2%) without family members than SK children. Many NK children reported that they rarely ate bread, rice cake, hamburger, pizza, fried food, candy. NK children consumed significantly less energy and nutrients (except calcium) and obtained more energy from fat and protein than SK children. Overall index of nutrient quality in NK children, however, was generally good. Length of stay in SK and breakfast skipping rates were significantly associated with lower diet quality. Therefore, nutrition education with displaced NK children should target those who recently came to SK. How to incorporate “new” foods, generally high in energy, sugar, or fat, in healthy ways and importance of breakfast should be emphasized. The growth patterns of the displaced NK children who were born and raised in food-deprived environments and will grow in food-affluent environments of SK should be monitored for health promotion of the NK children and for nutrition policy of the future united Korea.         한국 소아,청소년의 고열량 저영양 식품 섭취와 비만

        Consumption of foods with high energy and low nutrient values has been linked to various health issues including obesity and chronic diseases. This study investigated the high-energy/low-nutrient food consumption status and its relationship with obesity status and intake of energy and nutrients, using the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) and the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (KYRBWS). The prevalence of overweight and obesity among 2-18 year-olds was 8.4% and 10.8% in 2008 and 8.5% and 9.0% in 2009, respectively, in KNHANES. The prevalence of obesity among 12-18 year-olds was 13.9% in 2008 and 11.4% in 2009 in KNHANES, while it was 8.1% in 2008 and 8.2% in 2009 in KYRBWS. Consumption patterns of high-energy/low-nutrient foods were diverse depending on the particular food type. High-energy/low-nutrient foods such as cookies were most often consumed more frequently (2~3 times per week), but fast food type foods were generally consumed less frequently (once per week or less). No significant relationships between highenergy/ low-nutrient food consumption and level of energy and nutrient intakes were found in either datasets. Adolescents who were not obese more frequently consumed ramen (p < 0.001), cookies (p < 0.001) and fast food (p < 0.001) than those who were obese in KYRBWS, however, such relationships were not found in KNHANES. This direction of the relationship could be probably attributed to the cross-sectional nature of the datasets. This study was limited by the cross-sectional nature of the data, therefore, further longitudinal research using various study techniques would be necessary to understand the effects of high-energy/low-nutrient foods on child obesity.         제 1형 당뇨병 소아청소년의 영양지식, 식태도, 식행동에 대한 실태조사

        Type 1 diabetes is on the rise worldwide. Although nutrition education for patients with diabetes has become a routine practice, specifics and impacts of such educations need to be more researched. This study examined the status of nutrition knowledge, dietary attitude, and dietary behavior among children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (9-19 year-old) and explored factors influencing dietary behaviors related to diabetes by applying the Theory of Planned Behavior. Face-toface interviews, using a pre-tested structured questionnaire, were conducted with 32 participants (11 boys and 21 girls) with type 1 diabetes followed by a diabetes clinic in a university hospital. This study found that the level of nutrition knowledge related to diabetes was generally low at 4 points out of a possible 10, however, the dietary attitude related to diabetes was found to be generally good at 26 points out of a possible 30. Participants were motivated to follow medical staff recommendations the most; however, their family was also important. Perceived behavioral control was low especially for eating-out and portion control. The dietary behavior related to blood glucose control showed low at 13 points out of a possible 20. Regression analysis showed that perceived behavioral control (p < 0.001) was significantly related to the dietary behavior related to blood glucose control. This rare study with children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes showed that nutrition education should include a component to improve perceived behavioral control through high-risk situation management.
