        여기서는 아동이 살고 있는 지구환경을 중심으로 문제를 유발하게 된 인간의 태도와 기치관을 점검해보며 궁극적으로는 지향해야 할 방향인 생태주의와 환경문제 속에서 아동의 권리를 어떻게 해석할 수 있으며, 아동의 권리를 옹호할 수 있는 방법으로 환경교육에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

      • 유치원, 어린이 집에서 AD/HD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) 아동을 위한 교사의 접근법

        The purpose of this study is to seek the methods that we can promote AD/HD children s normal maturation. These children who is hyperac-tive, inattentive and impulsive interfere the teaching in classroom. Teacher must observe and select the children and can help them through teaching approach, parent interview. AD/HD is that the main presenting problems are hyperactivity, impul-sivity, inattetion. These children never sits still: they are always into something they won't pay attention for one minute: they doesn't think before they act: in school, they are up and out of their seat in a flash : they just don't get along well with others ; they are not doing well at age three or five in kindergarten. The search for causes of AD/HD implicates several variables, many of which are biological or thought to affect biological functioning. Also, there is evidence that genetics, pregnancy and birth complications, diet, environmental lead, psychological factors may be involved in shaping and maintaining AD/HD behaviors. Considerable efforts to identify AD/HD are interviews with the child, parents and teachers - along with rating scales and direct observation. To help the child , techers may programm classroom management, basic life attitude, play, behavior-modification, self-regulation and cognitive-behavioral intervention, counseling with parents who are disturbed for a long time because of their AD/HD children. ​​

      • 아동방임에 대한 이해

        Child neglect as child maltreatment is frequently confused with child abuse. But child neglect must differentiated from physical abuse or sexual abuse because child neglect may be difficult to distinguish identifiable symptoms and often ignored. Conceptual definition of child neglect is widely accepted : a condition in which a caretaker respnsible for the child, deliberately or by extraordinary inattentiveness, permits the child to experience avoidable present suffering and fails to provide one or more of the ingredients generally deemed essential for developing a person’s physical, intellectual, and emotional capacities. Types of neglect are categorized as follows : physhical neglect(refusal of health care, delay in health care, abandonment, explusion, other custody issues), inadequate supervision, emotion neglect(inadequate nurturance/affection, chronic/exreme abuse or domestic violence, permitted frug/alcohol abuse, permitted other maladaptive behavior, refusal of psychological care, delay in psychological care, other emotional englect), educational neglect(permitted chronic truancy, failure to enroll/other truancy, inattention to special education need). Data on incidence and prevalence of child neglect are generally substantially higher than the other estimates. It is shown that are hurted as child right to protect and care. Then reporting a suspected case of child neglect may be interpreted as an ethically necessary act, as a threat to one’s livelihood, as an act of faith, not as a violation of confidentially, as the simple meeting of a legal responsibility, or even as an act of folly. Public social help must address the factors at levels to provide the necessary supportive and preventive services to enable neglectful and high-risk family to successfully carry out their welfare. 1) defining the child neglect exactly 2) compulsory reporting 3) giving information 4) making community supportive system 5) constructing co-work system 6) one-stop service 7) funding for necessary programs and service

        This study investigated preschooler mother's recognition about the understanding of nurturance right versus self-determination right of the young child. The subjects were 129 mothers of infant enrolled in one kindergarten in Kimcheon. Mothers filled out questionnaires. There was a significant difference in mother's recognition of nur turance right and self-determination right. Also mother's the whole right recognition was presented ​​

      • 유치원아에게 나타나는 자아개념과 인기도, 사회·정서적 발달과의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to find out differences of young chil-dren's self-concept according to sex and age, a relationship between self-concept, popularity and socio-emotional development. The questions for this study were as follows. 1. Are there differences of young children's self - concept accord-ing to age and sex? 2. Is there a relationship between children's self-concept and popularity? 3. Is there a relationship between self-concept and socio-emotional development? 4. Is there a relationship between popularity and socio-emotional development? The subjects for this study are 79 children at age of 4 to 5 attend-ing kindergarten in Kimchun. As instruments, three kind of invento-ries were used: the inventory of the children's self-concept, sociome try and socio-emotional development rating scale. The data of the present study were analyzed by SAS. In the analysis. means, standard deviation, t-test, correlation coefficient were used. The results of the study were as follows. 1. The young children's self-concept didn't show statistically sig-nificant differences according to their age, sex. 2. There was not a significant difference between children's self-concept and popularity: but there was a significant difference between peer-relation, school teacher relation as sub-factor of self-concept and popularity. 3. There was not a significant difference between self-concept and socio-emotional development. 4. There was a significant difference between popularity and socio-emotional development.

      • 가정내의 아동학대 실태조사

        The purpose of this study is to relate a view and a bringingup attitude of child, to survey actual conditions on parent's child-abuse behavior, to get abuse degree in family, preventing child-abuse and suggesting the foundation of treatment. To accomplish this purpose, SSCA (A Scale for Screening the Child Abuse) was used, it was developed to ascertain intra-familial child abuse. The subjects of the survey are 827 in total (boys and girls) attending at elementary school in Kimchun. According to child's gender, grade, parent's age, occupation, the eco-nomic content of child, a scale of view of child and upbringing attitude was analized T-test, F-ratio and percentage. These results are as follows: 1. Economic cost, mental cost, physical cost of boys are found out significant, in co-mparison with girls. 2. Hostile, controllable, idle upbringing attitude of boys are found out significant, in c-omparison with girls. 3. The lower grades are not significant but higher economic cost, mental cost, hostile attitude than the higher grades. 4. Father's and mother'a age are not found out significant, but father who are beyond 46 age experienced difficulties in child's interaction. Mother who are under 35, beyond 46 experienced difficulties in child's interaction. 5. According to father's occupation, a scale of view of child was found out significant. 6. According to the economic content of child, when boys and girls check poverty, ec-onomic cost, controllable attitude were found out significant. It can be suggested that parents be educated child's developmental trait, behavioral trait, psychological aspect, upbringing method, parent's role and responsibility, in order to prevent child abuse.

      • Pestalozzi의 「幼兒敎育書翰」에 나타난 家庭敎育의 重要性

        Home is a little Kingdom of Heaven. The purpose of this study is to bn find out importance of home education from the ideas of Pestalozzi's 'Letters on Early Education. For this study, it reviewed briefly and systematically the importance and meaning of home and contents of home education on 'Letters on Early Education'. He thought that home is the best place for education and the core which is based on society, country, and world. Pestalozzi regarded home as the field of education where the foundation of human nature is accomplished. He endows higher value with home education. Pestalozzi's purpose for home education is to bring up moralistic human being passed through world where is spreaded with evil and absurdity. Pestalozzi's contents of the 'Letters on Early Education are summarized as follows: One is pure minds' which includes three subsequent contents : trust, obedience, and love. Another is the contents for harmonious emotion' which includes physical training, music, and art. The third is 'the contents for basic education. For this purpose, teaching and learning on the numerical, the formal, and the lingual are required. His educational method for home education can be classified into three categories. One is self education. It is based on principal of self-creation. Another is 'intuitional education. The third is 'love'. He emphasized the mother's love and education on particulars. Home education is based on 'believing in God'. We may think that his education is religion-centered in the view of being able to have children learn the fundarmental christian doctrines. In conclusion. I believe that we can find the direction about rudi- mental problems in the home education. His conviction of education can be a milestone in our home education against many troubles.

        아동의 자아개념 발달과 부 모 교사의 자아개념 추론에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this stud was to examine age and gender differences on children`s self-concept and agreement between children`s self-concepts and inferences by their fathers, mothers and teachers. The subjects for this study were 342 children from kindergarten (n=149) and second grade (n=193), and theirs fathers, mothers and teachers. The results of this study indicated that there was a significant difference among self-concepts by age, but no significant difference by sex. Also, there was no agreement between kindergarteners` self-concepts and inferences by their fathers, mothers and teachers. For second graders, however, noticeable agreement was found, especially between mothers and children.
