소형 터보압축기의 디퓨저 형상변화에 따른 유동특성 고찰

The effects of diffuser shapes on the flowfields of a small-size turbo-compressor have been investigated numerically and experimentally. The optimal design of elements shapes is important to develop the high efficiency turbo-compressor. Typical range of rotating speed for a small-size turbo-compressor is 40,000-70,000rpm. Numerical analyses were conducted to the rectangular and conical shapes of diffuser Three-dimensional, steady and viscous governing equations were solved by SIMPLE algorithm. To confirm the numerical results, the experimental measurements for the static pressure and temperature at the inlet and outlet boundaries were performed. Comparisons of these results were done, and the reasonable agreements were acquired.

In this paper, a novel system is proposed to measure skin hydration using the susceptance method. This system largely consists of a low-voltage(${\pm}2.6$ V) driven circuit and minimized electrodes of size($5{\times}5mm^2$). To evaluate the accuracy of the novel system in measuring skin hydration, skin hydration values from 105 subjects are measured by the proposed system. The measurements are then compared to those obtained by the golden reference device based on the capacitance method in terms of Intraclass Correlation Coefficient(ICC) and correlation coefficient. All measurements are performed on 7 sites, which are forehead, Crow's foot, cheek, chin, volar forearm, dorsal forearm, and back of the hand, in a room where the temperature and humidity are maintained at an uniform level of $22{\pm}2^{\circ}C$ and $50{\pm}5%$, respectively. ICC values are above 0.9(p=0.001), signifying that the skin hydration values measured by the two methods show a good level of reliability. Correlation coefficient between the two methods is also 0.562(p=0.001). Based on these results, it is expected that the proposed system may be applicable in a variety of clinical or cosmetic areas.

Sarcoidosis is a multisystemie disease of unknown cause eharacterized by the formation of noncaseating granulomas that n,ay involve any organ, but the most common sites are the lungs, lyrnph nodes, skin, and eyes. We report a case of sarc( idosis which may be caused by a foreign body reaction. A 49-year-old women was presented with violet colored, scaly papules on t.he back and subcutaneous nodules on the left index finger, which had been present for 6 months. A biopsy of a nodule on the left index finger reveal .d noncaseating epithelioid cell granuloma throughout the dermis with foreign body in the center of the granuloma. Under the polarized light microscopy, tiny particles of foreign material were more obvious. We think that foreign material may actually serve as a nidus for granuloma format.ion in sarcoidosis. MoS<sub>2</sub> 두께 변화에 따른 MoS<sub>2</sub>/p-Si 광센서 특성 연구

Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have attracted much attention because of their excellent optical and electrical properties, which are the applications of next generation photoelectric devices. In this study, $MoS_2$, which is a representative material of TMDs, was formed by magnetic sputtering method and surface changes and optical characteristics were changed with thickness variation. In addition, by implementing the photodetector of $MoS_2/p-Si$ structure, it was confirmed that the change of the electrical properties rather than the change of the optical properties according to the thickness change of $MoS_2$ affects the photoresponse ratio of the photodetector. This result can be used to fabricate effective photoelectric devices using $MoS_2$.
