      • 국내 종계에서 난계대 전염병 감염실태 보고

        본 조사연구는 종란을 생산하는 원종계, 종계, 백세미씨알 생산농장을 대상으로 수직감염(난계대 전파)되는 전염성질병인 추백리/가금티푸스, 닭 마이코플라즈마증(MG, MS), 전염성빈혈증, 조류 아데노바이러스 감염증에 대한 항원 및 항체검사를 실시하였다. 조사기간은 2009년 8월부터 12월까지 5개월간 원종계 45계군, 종계 1,018계군, 백세미씨알 생산 54계군에 대한 성적이다. 추백리/가금티푸스 항원검사에서는 모든 계군이 음성으로 확인되었으나 항체검사 결과 종계 3.2 %, 백세미씨알 생산계군 3.0 %의 항체양성률이 관찰되었다. 계종별 가금티푸스의 발생률은 종계군의 항원검사결과와 상반되어 육계 44.3 %, 백세미 26.2 %, 산란계 15.7 %, 토종닭 12.6 %, 육용종계 1.08 %였다. MG 항체검사 결과 원종계 71.1%, 종계 및 백세미씨알 생산계군 각 88.7% 항체 양성률이 확인되었으며 MS항체검사 결과도 비슷한 수준으로 나타났다. 닭 전염성빈혈바이러스 검사결과 원종계 42.2%, 종계 18.0%가 바이러스를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 항체양성률도 86% 이상이었다. 이와 함께 조류아데노바이러스 항원검사 결과에서는 원종계 4.4%, 종계 2.7%, 백세미씨알 생산계군 9.35%가 바이러스를 보유하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 결론적으로 국내 종계군은 닭 마이코플라즈마증과 닭 전염성 빈혈에 상당히 높은 수준으로 감염되어 있는 것으로 판명되어 질병별 적절한 예방책이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. A survey of transovarially transmitted diseases, including salmonellosis [(pullorum disease; PD)/(fowl typhoid; FT)], mycoplasmosis, avian infectious anemia(CIA), and fowl adenovirus infection was conducted in the breeder chickens from August to December in 2009. The numbers of flocks sampled out were: grand parent(GP), 45; parent 1018, Baeksemi breeder(BSB) 54. The seroprevalence of salmonellosis(PD/FT) were 0 % (GP), 3.2 % (parent), and 3 % (BSB), respectively. A total of 983 chicken farms were affected with FT outbreaks between 2000 and 2008. The incidence of FT in commercial broilers, Baeksemi, commercial layers, native chickens, and broiler breeders was 44.3 %, 26.2 %, 15.7 %, 12.6 % and 1.08 %, respectively. Of the affected broilers, over 90 % birds were under 2 weeks of age, indicating it was possible that they were infected with S. gallinarum via vertical transmission. The sero-positive flocks against Mycoplasma gallisepticum(MG) were 71.1 % (GP), 88.7 % (parent), 88.7 % (BSB), while the rates of positive flocks against Mycoplasma synoviae(MS) were 86.0 % (GP), 77.0 % (parent), and 98.0 % (BSB). In GP and parent farms, the detection rates on specific genes of CIA virus were 19/45 (42.2 %), and 169/1039 (18.0 %), respectively, whereas the seroprevalence of CIA were 86.0 % in GP and 93.7 % in parent flocks. In addition, positive flocks of fowl adenoviruses were 4.4 % (GP), 2.7 % (parent) and 9.35 % (BSB), respectively. As a results, avian mycoplasmosis and CIA have been more prevailing in chicken breeder than avian salmonellosis and fowl adenovirus infection in Korea.

      • 염증성 관절염환자의 Haptoglobin량과 유전자형

        Haptoglobin (Hp) phenotypes and levels were studied in the inflammatory arthritis patients and the healthy control group. Serum samples were obtained from 152 inflammatory arthritis patients and 251 unrelated healthy blood donors, living in Seoul, Korea. Typing of Hp was performed by horizontal electrophoresis in 5 % polyacrylamide gel using a discontinuous buffer system. Hp concentration was measured by a single radial immunodiffusion. The healthy controls were observed three phenotypes: Hp 1―1, Hp 2―1 and Hp 2―2 were 25, 103 and 123, respectively. Allele frequencies were estimated Hp' 1 at 0.305 and Hp' 2 at 0.695. In patients, Hp 1―1, Hp 2―1, Hp 2―2 and Hp 0 were 20, 61, 70 and 1 respectively. Allele frequencies were estimated Hp* 1 at 0.334 and Hp* 2 at 0.666. There were no significant differences in gene or phenotype frequencies between the patients and the controls. Hp levels were significantly different among genotypes. Serum Hp concentration in the patients were 303.6 ± 225.6 mg/100 ml (N=19) in the Hp 1―1, 516.4 ± 220.9 mg/100 ml (N = 60) in the Hp 2―1, and 478.4 ± 246.8 mg/100 ml (N=70) in Hp 2-2; the healthy controls were 119.9 ± 49.2 mg/100 m1 (N =25) in the Hp 1―1, 213.3 ± 95.4 mg/100ml (N=103) in the Hp 2―1, and 14&.1 ±88.4 mg/100 ml (N= 123) in the Hp 2―2. The amount of serum haptoglobin markedly increase in the inflammatory arthritis patients compare with the healthy controls(p<0.001).

      • 디스플레이 패널 냉각공정 분석

        Large sized display panels often crack during the cooling process, especially when the forced/rapid cooling method is applied. This study is focused on the analysis of the cooling phenomena, as well as verifying the source of residual/thermal stress which results in cracks of display panels. In order to obtain a quantitative understanding of the cooling phenomena, a three-dimensional, unsteady, non-isothermal, gas/solid coupled numerical simulation of the cooling process hs been performed by solving gas phase conservation equations, such as mass, momentum, turbulence kinetic energy, turbulence kinetic energy dissipation, and energy, and solid phase heat conduction simultaneously. Furthermore, the results are analyzed for practical applications and additional stress analysis is performed using the temperature profile obtained from the cooling process simulation to predict the contraction of the display panel due to cooling.
