In this study, the optimum structural components for the rural house design using the light gauge cold-formed steel frame is proposed. The proposed components were optimzed by the developed model composed with the analysis model and LGC database. The analysis model adapts FEA(finite element analysis). LGC database and calculation of element force adapt the design criteria of KISC. The structure of house is divided into header, bearing wall and roof truss. The variable of the each structure of house are defined component which designed by the case of load, size and space. The designed weight were used for optimization procedure of the divided components.

This study attempted to make evaluation model of deterioration for the rural house. defined the deterioration of rural house as the two categories. First is the physical deterioration which is affected by physical faults and the second is the social deterioration which is affected by change of environments. As a results, physical deterioration model was developed by types of rural house, and social deterioration model was considered to reverse function of satisfaction of a resident.

In this study, we research about the relationships of human longevity and environments, inducted the significant factors of longevity from the statistical analysis, and represented spatial distribution of longevity using geographic information system. The factors confining human longevity can be categorized by geography/geology, climate/weather, economy, and social welfare. After analyzing statistical data, dependent variable which means the longevity index is defined by the ratio of population more than 85 years old among population more than 65 years old. The results of analysis show that longevity are related with waterworks ratio, temperature, local tax ratio, and latitude. In this study we discussed about the spatial characteristics which are represented by variance of the longevity index and described a spatial relationship between the longevity index and significant factors which are chosen by statistical analysis. In the further study, in order to sustain the longevity of a region, it is necessary for the effective rural planning to propagate a longevity of rural areas.
