Weather Strip(W/S) is a rubber part to proof water, sound and dust for opening and shutting devices including vehicle doors. And it requires high dimension precision and durability to proof water, noise, vibration and etc. But ironically it itself makes some wind noise because of some protuberance with glasses. The air flow analysis of door part of vehicle makes it possible to calculate and find out the cause of wind noise. In previous analysis, we focus on the numerical air flow analysis of the automobile side part. We do 2D-C.F.D first and 3D second. Through simulations, we can calculate the amount of sound pressure level at the glass run and find out the effects of glass run to make wind noise. Finally we can improve shape of glass run to reduce wind noise although it is small amounts of sound pressure reduction compared with total vehicle noise level.

Portal and mesenteric venous thrombosis is an uncommon disease, but clinically important, because it accounts for 5% to 15% of acute mesenteric ischemia. The diagnosis is often delayed because the conditions are nonspecific abdominal symptoms. In addition, when this occurs in young individual without any known predisposing factor, the diagnosis may become even more difficult. The treatment of mesenteric venous thrombosis involves anticoagulation therapy alone or in combination with surgery. The addition of thrombolytic therapy to the treatment of portal and mesenteric venous thrombosis may enhance the clearance of thrombus and hasten the clinical improvements. We present a case of mesenteric venous thrombosis treated with catheter- directed infusion of urokinase via the superior mesenteric artery and systemic anticoagulation. A technique based on the finite element method (FEM) is used in the simulation of metal cutting process. This offers the advantages of the prediction of the cutting force, the stresses, the temperature, the tool wear, and optimization of the cutting condition, the tool shape and the residual stress of the surface. However, the accuracy and reliability of prediction depend on the flow stress of the workpiece. There are various models which describe the relationship between the flow stress and the strain. The Johnson-Cook model is a well-known material model capable of doing this. Low-alloy steel is developed for a dry storage container for used nuclear fuel. Related to this, a process analysis of the plastic machining capability is necessary. For a plastic processing analysis of machining or forging, there are five parameters that must be input into the Johnson-Cook model in this paper. These are (1) the determination of the strain-hardening modulus and the strain hardening exponent through a room-temperature tensile test, (2) the determination of the thermal softening exponent through a high-temperature tensile test, (3) the determination of the cutting forces through an orthogonal cutting test at various cutting speeds, (4) the determination of the strain-rate hardening modulus comparing the orthogonal cutting test results with FEM results. (5) Finally, to validate the Johnson-Cook material parameters, a comparison of the room-temperature tensile test result with a quasi-static simulation using LS-Dyna is necessary.
